I'm Randomness. I also go by others names when it's unavailable, but those are usually some variation of Randomness or Random in general.
I like anime, video games, and science. I'm currently in school studying to become an radiologic technologist. I'm in the initial stages, so I'm on my way. My favorite anime is Eureka Seven, and my favorite video game is a tie between Kingdom Hearts and Etrian Odyssey.
I have several story ideas, but currently lack motivation to write them out. I have plenty of notes for some of them so when I finally get around I'm prepared. That said, I absolutely enjoy group story telling like you do through role playing. One of my interests involved is world building and the connections between them if any.
One of my characters travels between worlds, dimensions and universes. What these are meant to be are different RPs. There seems to be some taboo around such a character, but I feel that is should be judged on a case by case basis. The idea of a seasoned character who has been on many adventures being able to share stories in passing sounds like a fun idea. I thought it would be an interesting idea that those stories could be from other RPs. He isn't meant to highjack the current RP, or be over powered. I admit, I can see that concern. Really though, he is meant to be an eccentric character with stories and treasures not before seen. The effects of these stories are meant to be entertaining, like fairy tales to the current cast. And what treasures he has or can use I'd restrict to what makes sense in the current world. But like I said before, it should be case by case. A learner, and a story teller. I think it's fun to link concept together through this character so the story could live on in new ways and perhaps give new RPs a different kind of character. Without upending everything of course.
Hey there! I'm glad it looks fun, and I'd be thrilled if I could explain or rework anything to make it seem less daunting. While there's a lot to work with, there's not much one has to actively think about. What's on your mind?
I guess keeping in theme, this game runs like a video game. The daunting part is all the stuff the game does for you, you’re doing yourself.

C O M B A T A B I L I T Y [Anti-Barrier Sword]#444 Pause Breaker [Anti-Barrier Quotient]50% [Physical Description]Five foot weapon with a 1 ft handle and a 4 foot blade. The blade is about a foot wide. It is rectangular shaped and mostly uniform along its entire length. The sword is hollow down the center of the blade. The tip of the blade flares out into two points at either end, allowing the blade to puncture when contact is made at the end of the sword during a swing. The sword is a dark cobalt in color white gray handle and hand guard. The pummel of the blade is rounded with an inlaid square. Another square in inlaid inside the first turned 45 degrees. [Attributes]Water and likewise ice easily clings to the weapon without comprising sharpness. Ice can be formed in the middle of the blade to increase its weight and striking power, while also giving the sword a freezing effect. Contrary to expectations with the added weight, June’s anomaly lightens the load when the sword is inlaid with ice.
[Anomaly]Freeze Shatter [Origin]Kholomica – Ice [Phenomena]June is able to control the temperature around her by removing the heat of the area. While she isn’t so much controlling ice directly, she has practiced enough to cause ice to form where she needs it. She uses this a lot by freezing the ground in front of her allowing her to skate around the battlefield. June is able to use this power to manipulate the temperature of her surroundings and her enemies, making most if not all standard materials brittle enough to be shattered with the swing of her weapon. Likewise, she can induce thermal shock by rapidly reducing the temperature, causing some things to break on their own due to the temperature difference. [Limitation]Since a lot of her mobility and skill requires moisture, her power wanes if moisture is not plentiful enough for her disposal. All of her abilities have to originate from around her person, so she has to be in close quarters with anything she plans to freeze.
Profile
[Surface-level Impression]
She is not so much a quiet woman, but rather one who tends to have interests that are committed alone. For example, she really enjoys gardening when she can, a luxury she often has a lot less time to do given the constant movement within the military. So, whenever she happens across a garden, or even farmland, she will spend some down time helping tend to those plants. She has a collection of perfectly preserved flowers encased in clear ice she keeps in special freezer in her personal quarters, should space allow. Beyond the chances she has to participate with her hobbies, she drags her brother to be more outgoing when she can. While he isn’t antisocial per se, June can’t help but notice how much time he spends on excess military duties and training. She will invite him to the gardens, or take him to bars where they can mingle with the other enlistees building camaraderie. Despite what her calm demeanor might suggest, when she is on the battlefield, June seems to adopt a completely different personality. She is ruthless and almost reckless in her conduct. Quick to act and unforgiving in her demeanor. She will occasionally continuously attack a downed enemy, dangerously pulverizing what is left. While at times this paints her as reckless, she is quick to act and is willing to adapt as the situation changes. She is not disobedient, but when out in the field she will and often pushes the letter of her orders.
[Personal History]
June was born into the Nameswall Forgone Jianque family on the natural satellite, Deleyor Aye. She was the oldest child of the current head of the family. Being born of the this family granted her several privileges. Many of which she took advantage. Often, caretakers would bend to her demands and in some senses started life spoiled and entitled. During her preadolescent years, she became a bit of a trouble maker. Sometimes, she would even rope her younger brother, Matthew, into her antics. After one harrowing event involving a drilling rig, June was finally given proper parenting. Luckily, it didn’t look like Matthew followed June’s wild footsteps growing up. One of the reasons June was able to get away with so much as she grew was due to her heritage. Not so much her family name, but that she was born with an ancestral anomaly. As soon as she showed signs of the ability, the head family immediately took action. Not only because it was required by numerous deals with humanity's defense, but having another strong wielder of the cold would continuously cement the family’s position among the powers of Glasswan. Any and all resources they needed to build his daughter to be as strong as possible, the family head acquired. June really took an interest in what her father actually did within the confines of Glasswan. She would often accompany him during business deals. Many times, this took place in the homes or hotel rooms of those June’s father was dealing with. She would be encouraged to play with the other children of those individuals. Whenever she looked at her father, he would smile. June could not help but notice how the other would not, or force a smile instead. Even as she tamed out reaching her adolescent years, she was not oblivious to what her father was doing then, and she was not so now. She understood that some things were required for progress. As of all families with such prestigious ancestry, June was to join the military, a fact that she knew at a relatively young age. Her brother knew it to. It’s hard to say what his resolve was, but when the time came, he left Deleyor Aye to train, while June was left to further master her abilities. It was something the both of them were aware of. Even at her young age, she knew that all those tutors and trainers there for her power lead to her participation against the aberrant threat. It didn’t take long for the two siblings to reunite, when June left Deleyor Aye as well to finally face the aberrants head on.

[Planet Description]
Deleyor Aye is the local name for one of the major natural satellite of the planet Allyion. Allyion is a gas giant, approximately 41,000 miles in diameter. The planet itself in uninhabitable, but large solid objects orbiting the planet from within its atmosphere shows signs of former habitation. The planet is cold, blue, and boasts dangerously fast wind speeds. The main feature of the planet is an oddly red storm that bands the planet from north to south. While this band does shift across the planet back and forth, its unknown how such a stark contrast in color exists isolated on that face of the planet. Deleyor Aye in comparison to the plant and its other satellites is more habitable. The satellite is approximately 8,300 miles in diameter. Deleyor Aye has managed to boast a thriving ecosystem of flora and fauna. Deleyor Aye's orbit around Allyion is synchronous. The planet has tall mountains on the planet facing side, while a single large ocean pools at the far facing side. Besides the hundreds of wide rivers that flow from the mountains towards that ocean, Deleyor Aye is full of lush jungles. The only local civilization is built at the base of the mountains between two of the largest rivers. Most of the flora on the planet comes in two types. The first grow stalks with long fibrous leaves that act as chutes or guides to sap covered seeds that slowly roll towards the ground. The much taller and larger of these plants have multiple tiers of leaves where one could hide behind for shade. The other kind forms pits, nets and clam shell flowers to trap small animals. Deleyor Aye is mostly dominated by plant life. The largest animals on the planet are about two feet long. Fauna lacks any major predators. They are instead mostly omnivores eating other animals as the need requires.
[Culture]
Deleyor Aye has only one civilization. More specifically, there is only one major location on the satellite that houses over 90% of the population. The name of this city is Glasswan. Despite the size of the city compared to the rest of the orbital body, it is quite successful. A large portion of the materials gathered are shipped to the main cluster of human civilization while still holding enough for growth and environmental sustainability. On the surface, Glasswan has no ill repute with the center of human civilization. However, Deleyor Aye’s considerable distance from the rest of the center of humanity has allowed for much secrecy to sprout and thrive. It’s known that while the heads of office change frequently as legislation changes, the Nameswall Forgone Jianque family has always had a foothold in all the goings on. Locals of Glasswan know to keep clear of their operation as they manage the mines and defense infrastructure. As long as there are no interruptions, then their perfectly legitimate business can continue to operate smoothly, bringing Glasswan continual support and security. The last thing that is wanted is self-proclaimed good samaritans bringing further stress to the already overtaxed state of humanity. Many would be remiss to forget there is little Glasswan cannot get away with.
[Warrior Family]
The Nameswall Forgone Jianque family is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the family can trace its roots to when anomalies were first made known. The family had an affinity to ice and subzero temperatures. As centuries passed, this trait continued down the bloodline, giving them renown. On the other hand, this branch of that ancestry used that power for nefarious purposes. There was little crimes the family were not a part of, and thousands of lives were lost. At some point, the family was culled, and those who survived fled. Eventually, the family was brought back into the limelight. Claimed to have purged itself from its criminal past and reformed as an honest name ready to work with humanity. Even with these claims, the family chose to distance itself, moving to a far off system, settling, and help cultivate a thriving city, enterprise, and state. Though distant, the family kept its word supplying what it can towards the war front. However, this was not without criticism. The distance from the core worlds, from the center of human civilization had left few who knew about Deleyor Aye bitter. Those coming and going only doing the bare minimum as required from their service. It was almost like that family having both a praised ancestry and criminal past cared very little for the survival of humanity against the aberrant threat. Desperate to get a response. Yet, despite this, the family insists it is staying true to its word. It has not lapsed back into criminal enterprise. And all of their dealings, regardless of how questionable they may come are legitimate and legal. They choose to ignore the criticism. At least the criticism that doesn’t have intimate knowledge of Deleyor Aye.

[Analysis] Matthew joined active duty around the same time as June. Unlike his sister, he did not inherit an anomalous gene. Even so, his ancestry can be traced back to the Kholomica line. He is currently enrolled into the pilot program, commanding a delta class mech operating on active duty and front line battlefields. He is a skilled pilot, worthy of his position and likely for further promotion.

[Analysis] A man who seems to have many ties within the military, able to access most military common areas including those of both Matthew and June. A friend of the family, her father sent Acheron with June when she left Deleyor Aye for the military. Though his methods are unknown, Acheron tends to always know a guy capable of providing whatever June or her brother needs. There seems to be no limit to what he can provide, even when it comes to equipment and prep. Behind the scenes, he is always looking out for the siblings’ best interest. He has an eye to keep an eye on everyone.

Graviton Line Gun: An energy based weapon that fires a piercing laser that penetrates most standard materials. While it has a slower fire rate, its penetration ability is what gives the weapon decent lethality against hoards of enemies. The gun has an alternate fire in which it releases a collected ball of two equal yet repelling forces. This is able to clear out large areas of debris while traveling forward before collapsing in on itself in an implosion, crushing together the gathered debris and enemies. The range of the alternate fire is very short in comparison to its primary fire, but affects a larger area from where the gun was fired. The gun has an external input for hard ammo should it be required.
MPOD Field Gun: A three barreled cannon that serves two functions. The main purpose of the weapon is to aim and fire payloads towards precise locations. This works more like a grenade launcher. Each load is capable of a multitude of functions. The effect of the payload during detonation can be changed at any point prior. Payloads can be programmed to detonate upon impact at the designated target, or delayed for either remote detonation or external trigger. Payloads with lingering effects can be turned off at will. The Second purpose of the gun uses a similar technology as the primary weapon. A path is created for the payload to travel. This is achieved using a repulsion beam to clear a way through debris or obstacles for the payload to land at its intended target. When used normally, the payload travels just after the beam, creating a seamless path towards the intended point of detonation. This function can also be used as a second Graviton line gun without access to the alternate fire. ◦ Vortex Main One Module – The payload explodes creating a wide gravitational pull dragging anything weighing 50 tons or less towards its center at a range of about 50 meters. The effective pull quickly diminishes beyond that range. ◦ Vortex Main Two Module – The payload explodes creating a strong repelling force that continuously emanates for several minutes. The force is strong enough to push debris and equipped personnel up to a weight of 50 tons. While the repulsion field is active, the closer to the center of the repulsion, the stronger the effect. Under normal circumstances, nothing with less than 50 tons of force can push past the center. ◦ ATED v3 Module – The payload explodes releasing a concussive blast and some shrapnel mainly consisting of the surrounding environment. The main source of damage comes from the 30,000 nano needles housed inside. The needles are thin enough to penetrate most forms of standard armor and even some nonphysical nonaberrant barriers. The needles flare shortly after penetration causing further damage inside, while also limiting unintended piercing through multiple obstacles. ◦ Calmed Heavy Gas Module – The payload explodes releasing a cloud of heavy electrostatic gas. This gas is nearly impossible to see through and jams most know communication or detection signals aberrants may use. The composition of the gas allows it to continuously spread slowly after the initial detonation of around 500 square meters and linger for an extended period of time while also resisting light winds. However, the gas will eventually dissipate or sink to the ground.
Hiveline Mortar Array: A collection of four barrels located at the back shoulders of the mech. This array fires the same payloads as the MPOD Field Gun, with some additional ammo including smoke and flares. Payloads are launched at an increased range by lobbing them over long distances. The payloads have self correcting mechanisms to help keep them on their intended target. Payloads fired from this array have a range of 18 miles.
Axalon Sky Eye v1 Minimap: A special sensory device that can capture the scene around the entirety of the mech and more. It is able to provide the pilot a near perfect map of his surroundings beyond his line of sight using all additional information including electromagnetic waves, sound waves, ambient energy, and targeting data from neighboring mechs. This map is updated constantly, creating a near perfect view of the surrounding area and can locate hidden enemies as sensory inputs change throughout the battle. Furthermore, this works through active Calmed Heavy Gas.
Orbital Omnidirectional Wings: A pair of vertical blue energy propulsion engines installed flush on the back of the machine. Despite the name, the propulsion engines are only capable of rapid forward and sideways movement. However, should the pilot find himself in a zero gravity location, he can maneuver the mech freely in space.
Cross Self Guiding Beam Blade: A sword made of hard light and beam energy that can be manifest at will built into the arms. The blade is self correcting, always adjusting the blade itself so the sharp edge is in the direction of the swing. This feature can be turned off at will.

Diligent in his duties and a bit serious when dealing with others. Doesn’t save time for leisure outside of rest, reading, and restrooms. Otherwise, he spends his time maintaining his equipment, studying, or dealing with his sister. He is thorough in the tasks he is given and will obey orders to the letter as best as he can. He likes to be prepared for any task that comes his way and as a result has on hand the tools he needs to get the job done. If not, he generally knows where he can find them. Even in the event he is without a tool, he can improvise and work with what he has. He’s prepared to be under prepared. While he isn’t one to take time off a majority of the time, he isn’t one to turn down an invitation either. If nothing is urgent and he is welcome, Matthew will spend time with other soldiers. Often, it’s his sister urging him to socialize more. While he doesn’t make many jokes himself, he does enjoy the banter others bring. Though he doesn’t admit it he does like being around others taking part on the camaraderie. It helps him takes the time to relax as he should between missions.
[Personal History]
Matthew was born into the Nameswall Forgone Jianque family on the satellite, Deleyor Aye. This alone granted him privileges he would never fully appreciate until he was older. Even as he signed the papers confirming his enlistment into the military and their fight against the Aberrant threat. Even so, he was not ignorant to his position. As he aged, he could not help but notice the discrepancy between his family and the common folk who offered them their best. Happy were most of their faces, but not all. Unlike his sister, it was a social phenomena he had no interest in pursing. Instead, he took interest in the logistics over the people. He grew up more with caretakers than his parents. He didn’t blame his parents for this, obviously. It was hard managing the various companies, and dealings collecting resources, distribution, and of course finagling the local legislators into grossly beneficial deals with foreign interstellar “businessmen”. As a means of exposing himself to what his home, Glasswan had to offer, he took part in the home side of things. Of course he was too young to do any actual work, but he easily took a feel for the inner workings of the factories and mines. He was operating heavy vehicles before he was even ten. At home, he would design fake plans for fake companies, throwing challenges at them of his own design. Then he would be tutored in mathematics, sciences, and even worlds history. Not that he found the latter of much benefit. By this point, the world had expanded to so many others it would be impossible to keep up or care for what mattered at those times. But there was one topic that was ever relevant regardless of what world, rocket, or asteroid one lived. There were the aberrants. He always knew regardless of what he decided to pursue at home, he would find himself on the front lines against those abominations. It did not matter Deleyor Aye was in a completely different galaxy to humanity’s center. Those creatures would eventually come for them, too. It was better to play nice than to futility hide away. Unlike his sister, Matthew did not inherent the anomaly his father possessed. That effectively left him as useful as a shard of glass against carbon fiber. However, he did find success piloting. He took to it well, and became a full fledged mech pilot. With machines as unique as their pilots, and a family that still went out of their way to aid him in only a way they knew how, Matthew was right at home. He felt no threat from the aberrants, though their carnage would warrant otherwise. He instead steeled himself to finish his tours, and push humanity that much closer to the end of the war. For a war that was never going to end.

I'm somewhat interested. A question, are constellations without a suit of their own? So it's normal humans with swords with 20+ foot robots clearing the field around them?
Everyone was either settling in or crashing by the time Fia returned to the camp with a couple vials of off green liquid. She wearily wandered near where Roxas was set up. Not paying too much attention to what the elven healer was doing, Fia carefully dropped off one of the vials near her, indicating she had done so.
“Here you are, darling.” said Fia at the end of a yawn, “I hope that’s enough.” Fia left Roxas with a soft smile before she meandered to the place where she could finally lie down and rest. Fia only half listened to the others discussing a night watch. A name that was incorrect as the sun slowly rose over the horizon.
“I’m sorry, dear. I don’t think I can keep up for much longer. I trust you and them to handle it. I promise I’ll give my share next time.” Fia’s eyes were already closed, as her breathing remained steady. In no time, Fia was asleep. Probably faster than the others given the circumstances. Even the arcane eye that hovered over the carriage dimmed as though it could no longer see.
The quiet night was just as silent as ever. Fia’s eye’s opened again. Besides the footsteps of the search party, there was not other chatter. The white abomination of a spider really had either scared off any others, or was the apex of this area enough to keep everyone silent. It hardly mattered, but it Fia hoped it meant likelihood of another of its kind to attack, let alone show was low.
It didn’t take long for the others to find the spider’s hovel, built within the confines of a shallow cave. Filled with webbing and the telltale sign of cocoons storing the arachnid’s meals. When it was all finished, it outcome was mixed. They had found the missing travel hands. Yet, two of them were in unstable condition, and even should they recover would require extra consideration going forward. The one with his leg missing especially.
“I don’t suppose Roxas could reattach that…” Fia said softly to herself. She looked up as the others gathered around to figure out transporting the incapacitated men back to camp. Gray went about directing the construction of a stretcher, and Vesemir took it upon himself to carry Dimitri. He was clearly tired and perhaps a little irritable. Fia didn’t mention it. It was now reaching dawn, everyone was tired, some were injured, and more were drained of any energy. With Engelbert and the others carrying the injured, Roxas commented on the venom.
“Actually, darling. I have a traveler’s potion kit. I don’t know if it will have what you need, but it’s something.” said Fia, “I can go about collecting the venom. I’ll catch up with you once I’m done, deary.”
The spider didn’t get terribly far before it succumbed to boiled blood and burst. The glow of Engelbert and the light of the lantern at either side of the gaping trail the beast left behind as it attempted to flee were still bright and visible. As Fia strode forward, towards the remains, she noticed the mangled body part. Evidence of a recent meal, but also evidence of a more than likely gruesome reality.
It didn’t take much time at all for Fia to catch up where the arachnoid beast laid. Rezello and Engelbert were there in some ways admiring their handiwork, and in others, dealing with the putrid mess the busting abdomen had left upon them. Fia wasn’t bothered much by the innards of the spider, stepping confidently through the muck. Fia couldn’t doubt Engelberts words. As he explained to Gray, this beast was unlike your typical house spider. It lured in pray towards its trap using the corpses of past prey. It sang with magical allure. Be it employing the talents of its lure or of its own volition didn’t matter.
“We certainly cannot trust what we know for this creature, darling.” said Fia as she walked near the head of the beast. The broken elven remains still somehow embedded in the spider cranium. Fia rested a hand on what remained. “Still, we are not entirely out of options. If any of them are still alive, we should find them. If not, well, we’ll have our closure.” Engelbert seemed to believe survival was slim. It was in the way he spoke before walking back down the path Fia picked up on. She didn’t blame him. After what they had witnessed and the humanoid remains, it was hard to believe anything else.
Fia looked down towards the camp. Though her third eye, she saw Roxas meeting up with Forbann. Shortly after Engelbert showed up as well. They had said their thoughts and it seemed Dimitri would pull through with something Engelbert pulled from his pack. Fia stood up straight. While the venom of the beast could have some use, Fia resolved to harvest after giving it one more try to rescuing the others. Vesemir appeared conflicted.
Fia stood up, yawned, and closed her eyes. Though it looked like she was sleeping, she was trying to listen. If she could hear even a whisper of an insect, nocturnal birds, anything that lived in the area, she could transform herself into that animal and ask what they knew. Perhaps the spider’s lair was nearby, recent pray, activity, if there were others. Animals were smarter than what humans gave them credit for. Selfish for the right reasons, and far from oblivious. If this proved fruitless, perhaps it was then time to accept the fates of their seduced comrades. Many of the others seemed to have lost hope already.

<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;">I'm Randomness. I also go by others names when it's unavailable, but those are usually some variation of Randomness or Random in general. <br><br>I like anime, video games, and science. I'm currently in school studying to become an radiologic technologist. I'm in the initial stages, so I'm on my way. My favorite anime is Eureka Seven, and my favorite video game is a tie between Kingdom Hearts and Etrian Odyssey.<br><br>I have several story ideas, but currently lack motivation to write them out.
