I'm feeling really happy and pumped. Oh, and joyful. Haha.

Here's a list of things about me if you want to know a little bit more. Though if you actually want to get to know me, send me a PM, or talk over the OOC chat.
1. I don't generally like roleplays where my characters are forced to be serious 100% of the time; mostly because that's not how actual people work.
2. Yes, I use anime pictures for appearances. I've come to like anime less and less over the years, and personally only ever watch the movies now, and that's on incredibly rare occasions. I personally like using those over actual people faces, because people have too many specific details, and I can never find people faces that match the description I want. If you would like, I can use a text description instead.
3. I generally like to make 'pairs' of characters. Either characters that seriously contrast with each other, or work together really well but still have arguments and problems.
4. I've been forum roleplaying for just about 5 years now, and I've been tabletop roleplaying for 11 years now. I still suck at roleplaying despite being a 12 year veteran, but, what're you gonna do?
5. I really enjoy talking to people. Yes, society has gone downhill, but despite that I find serious enjoyment out of talking to people about anything. So, if I'm in an RP with you, just chat away with me. We can talk about mundane things, or go all-out on serious topics. I don't think I've come across a single person I've hated talking to, even if they were somewhat irritating or annoying. So please PM me, or just talk OOC.
6. I flipping love Inside Out, and as such, if you ever make an RP based around it, please invite me. I promise to behave of course. If one isn't made though, you know very well that I'll make my own, and I'll try my hardest to make it the best RP possible. Or, if you just want to talk about Inside Out, I'd love to do that as well.
7. Please make good characters. I understand Advanced Roleplayer's over on that section have no problem with this, but I don't like RPing over there. When I'm on casual roleplay, not many seem to care a whole lot about making good characters. They just make walking cliche's to get into an RP, and then completely change that character as the RP barely starts. It's annoying, lazy, and doesn't really make me want to accept you if I'm GM or co-GM.
Characters are the literal heart and soul of roleplaying, and should be treated as such. If you make your characters card-board cut-outs, it only tells me that you either don't care, are lazy, or that we absolutely need a moderate roleplay section on the forums to bridge the gap between posting 1-2 paragraphs with barely any work put into characters, and posting 6-8 paragraphs with enormously deep backstories, love, and care, put into characters.
8. I am a caring and nice guy, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm fairly hard to offend, and even harder to make mad. I seriously enjoy getting to know my fellow members, so talk whenever you feel like it.
Well, there's lucid dreaming, and then there's OBEs (Out-of-Body Experiences) which is what I think you're referencing. OBEs are a spiritual state, where you exist as nothing but a spirit in your dream world rather than a tangible object. Usually in OBEs it's easier to interact with your sub-conscious, and delve deep into your mind.
Simple lucid dreams, which just means, being "awake" within your dreams is like having full consciousness and feeling, which is what I want to experience more of. Taking control of dreams is boring if you can't feel and experience them lucidly.
Yeah, only sad part is I've only gone lucid twice. First experience lasted a minute because I was way too excited. I kept screaming in all of my dream characters faces "I'm dreaming! I'm dreaming!" without fully grounding myself in the dream first. Second time I read up on a bunch of stuff, and I got an awesome 10 minutes. Talked to people, ate an incredibly realistic tasting cheeseburger. Teleported myself to the beach and swam around, then gave myself gills to explore the ocean, which as I went deeper got more and more awesome.
Can't believe I gave up on lucid dreaming. Those two experiences were amazing, and I still remember them vividly to this date. However, it's going to take me a while to get them going again. Gotta reprogram your head and stuff, teach it when to know it's in a dream. I envy the people who can just do this naturally.
I've recently been experimenting with dreams. Trying to get back into the Lucid Dreaming Scene. I have a journal again, doing all of those reality checks, and meditation and stuff before I go to sleep. Hopefully I can become lucid again. Because lord is it exhilarating to do whatever you want in a dream, or just stand back and witness all of the craziness while fully lucid.
Kurano's eyes were filled with the blinding white light above him, as he used his hand for shade, he could see that there was now nothing at all within his room, but a single desk. He was on the floor, and his body seemed to be protesting in pain. Am I in a panic room, or an insane asylum? he asked himself, though it seemed he had no straight-jacket on. Kurano stood up, brushing the bits of dust that had collected on his clothes.
The door was directly in front of him, beckoning to be opened. He put his hand to it, and it raised up just as yesterday. The walls of the facility he was in came back, and he could see that he was in fact at the room he chose last night. How the bed up and disappeared was a mystery to him. Not knowing what to do, or why he was so rudely put on the floor, he pulled his watch to his face. It was about time for breakfast it seemed, and so he found one of those signs in the corridors. "Alright, uh, take me to the... Cafeteria, or dining hall, or whatever it's called." The machine whirred, and spouted out directions in it's monotonous tone. "This is what happens when robots run everything, it all becomes so, tiresome." Kurano sighed, and followed the directions it gave to him. "A right, a left, a corkscrew here, a loop de loop there," he mumbled as he walked, staring at the ground
Minami Shiroka
"Oh, mister! Hey mister!" Minami's small form called out to the nicely dressed man. He seemed to be just staring at the ground, moving around and talking to himself. He raised his head, and looked at her a bit perplexed. "Don't know what to do either?" He asked Minami. "Um, well, I got a message this morning saying we needed to go to a lab or something, but..." She paused, not knowing how to admit she got lost. "Alright then, we can head there together," the man answered. Minami grabbed hold of his hand instinctually, and followed him through the halls.
Once they headed closely to the training rooms, Minami could see some of the people they found earlier looking in through a window. "Maybe we should talk to them," she chimed, stopping the man in his tracks. "Wait, they've all got weapons. Is that what I missed?" He asked, holding his palm to the door and opening it up. "Hey, uh, sorry we're late. We both slept in and, um. Sorry," he said again, putting his hands behind him. Minami imitated him to her best ability, as they both stood and waited for their potential scolding.
Yeah, sorry all. I've been gone for a long time, and it's been because of financial troubles and having to move to a much, much smaller place. I've only got a phone now as well, because I had to sell my PC. I'll probably get one back soon though, likely by the end of the summer. In the meantime I'm going to catch up and post.
Another thing before I post. What's up with that absolutely horrendous gif I keep seeing when I look through the old pages? It makes me almost sick to my stomach each time I see it.
Alright hooray, I've posted. confetti for everyone.
By the way, just noticed this, but Gambit's character isn't in the character's section. It took me a while to find the CS in the OOC. That awful gif is also in the Character section, so please excuse me while I find a bag.
Ooh wow, nice! I do understand your worrying about me worrying about the "warm" feeling though. I like the way it looks, but as for giving a feel about the RP... IDK. I do like it a lot though! I think I'll steal it from you and use it for now so I can at least start advertising it. It is pretty neat though!
Maybe some colder black and light gray colors will work too. I was kind of thinking small variants for the three of us GMs, and possibly a fourth "Not as important" version for our members, eh?
I'll go with the one that I originally made. It has my favorite colors in it. If Unraveller is interested, I can make it look whatever way he wants it to look.
Oh shoot, I thought I already said awesome to the Sig.
No time to say anymore. Awesome job though! Maybe I could have one with another color? Or maybe another plant-type that's similar?
Here's a much lighter version, with different plants. There's much more of a "warm" feeling with this one so I don't know if you would like it. If you prefer it to keep that sort of darker theme, I can do another change.
Oh crap guys, the genius wheels in my head are turning. I've found the greatest way to recruit people. Ever. So, after a while of studying the "introduce yourself" section, anyone that welcomes and generally just says "hey thanks for joining the guild," are more likely to have these newcomers follow them onto their RPs. In other words, kindness begets friendship. Once you get that friendship, it means they're more likely to join.
Granted, this didn't work every single time, but I can say that it's a good 50% chance at least. So if we're ever completely desperate, this plan works amazingly well.
Btw, I've made a sig for our thread if either of you guys ever feel like using it. Or, if you do want a sig, but just don't like the one that I've made, I can make another one. Or, if you just feel like it should have a minor variation, like darker colors, or maybe lighter colors, I can do that as well. I tried my hardest to make this feel "four dimensional" in a way, but I have no idea if that effect affects you guys.
The area will also be filled with smoke if it doesn't have some sort of ventilation system that reaches the surface. XD
Why did one of the updates get rid of our avatars? Again.
