Dead men tell no tales So listen to this story from a whale She sailed the silver river But only found a purple butler There was a grey parrot, and the crane both agree That the turtle should search for the one manatee Now you see your monster Or maybe your insanity The pirate needs more ales
Jack kept working through the turmoil and quakes of the ship. The left thruster was almost working again. Although working would be a loose term for the status of the thruster. The crew was working hard and doing well to keep things barely functional, but the impacts and resulting explosions were not helpful at all. Then he heard a confusing message from the captain.
"Everyone launch escape pods! I repeat! Board launch pods!""All crew! Stay aboard. We're kicking them out."
Jack wasn't sure what was going on, but after pausing for a moment he realized what the captain might be trying to do. He noticed the rest of the crew was a little confused, so he fixed that real quick. "What are you all standing around for!? You heard him, get back to work. If this ship doesn't look brand new before the meat heads eject all of the escape pods we'll eject you as a diversion." Everyone began to scurry and work harder than ever before he could even finish his statement. They all knew he was to gentle to do anything near that nature, but his words expressed the direness of the situation.
A minute later the left thruster was back online. Propulsion was still at only about 1/3 of full capability, but Sera should still be able to outmaneuver them, she was a pretty great pilo... Jack had gone to a terminal to restore power to the thruster, where he also noticed a new problem. "HAAJAABRAGABRAG. SERA YOU BURNT OUT HALF THE RETRO THRUSTERS, AGAIN!!" Jack restored the thruster power and split up his crew, before running down the ship to the retro thrusters. This should be an easier fix, but hopefully none of them ran into the Espers.
Also at the start of this, I don't believe there was a set power level, basically just make a character you've wanted to use relative to the setting and then develop them. If you don't like the group your with, go down a different hall and meet up with another group. Echo will be happy to guide you to wherever you need to go. Multiple stories can be going on at once in this as well.
Name: Eron Biscus Age: 27 Nationality: Gibraltarian
Height: 6'2 Weight: 174lbs Weapon(s): Dual tonfas
Fighting Style: Eron fights rather defensively with his tonfas. Even though he could easily extend his reach by using the other ends, he prefers to keep the long end next to him and get in close to his enemies. Most of his maneuvers involve rapid jabs and punches in close to his enemies. If longer range is necessary he can give more powerful attacks with the longer thrusts and swings. His strongest strike is a swing while he rotates the tonfa around for a devastating strike. He isn't keen on violence, and always starts off defensively, but as more force is necessary he evolves to what is needed.
Searching For: Soul Calibur. Eron doesn't believe grand wishes are necessary for good things to be done and the potential for evil with it is too great. He believes true power to changes things should involve hard work from the people.
Personality: Eron is rather peaceful and believes in the power of people. He believes that people have more power than they believe and practices it in his own life. He seeks to push himself to the limits and finds that the limits seem to continually grow. He believes in great control over his body and mind and has trained himself to follow that mantra. He is not very argumentative and more likely to shrug off a disagreement as the other being stupid. He has yet to find a cure for stupidity though and if he were ever to use the Soul Edge it would be for that. He is not a fool and realizes there are things he does not know and evaluates the information shared with him.
Background: Gibraltar was known for being a watchpoint between the Mediteranean and the Atlantic. One of the watchmen had spent a lot of time in this place with not much action and was very reflective of life. Eron became fascinated with this man and began to spend time with him and learn from him. He put his teachings into practice and created his own weapons with which to train. He is devoted to fulfilling the man's teachings and ridding the world of the Soul Edge, so that humanity will work on using it's own power to fix their problems. He does have a reason to use the Soul Edge as well and that would be to spread the wisdom the old man shared with him. He feels that could fix the world as well even though the old man disagrees.
@Dynamo Frokane I did mean Soul Edge, I'll change that sorry. Gibraltar is a tiny country off of the tip of Spain. It creates the Strait of Gibraltar with Africa, connecting the Mediteranean to the Atlantic. It's actually a British oversees territory too.
Here's my CS. Tell me how it looks. I'm open to making changes.

Echo was quite excited at hearing the thing respond to him. He bounced a little in his joy. He would be able to communicate with it, and evidently without connection anymore. "So, I do have quite a few questions about you now, and the opportunity to easily speak is to much to pass up. How clear do my thoughts need to be for you to hear them? Like could I still have private thoughts? If I thought of an image would you be able to see it as well? It is nice to know you don't actually steal the memories as well. Since it seems you just have to learn to survive, can you learn of your own volition or do you have to obtain it from someone else? Also can you link me to others? How deeply can you search one's mind? I'm sorry if this is a lot of questions, but you are the first person I can really talk to."
It seemed the knight asked about a Bright Road, and it seemed this Mindskitter knew all of these endless halls. He beckoned for Amheurst and Echo to follow him and to bring Gish along with them. He wasn't sure why Gish had to go with them. She had her own free will, in fact so did he. It would seem intresting to follow the Mindskitter, but he wasn't keen on being ordered around. He had wandered a path called the Bright Road before as well. It didn't actually seem that bright, but it was lit by some strange lamps. He was quite intrigued by them and their numbers.
The Mindskitter began to wander off towards where he thought the Bright Road was. He was probably right, but then he stopped to pick up some old tapestry. It seemed to turn out to be a mistake because a strange boy with antlers and bunny ears popped up with a sword in rather frantic panic. Fortunately it didn't attack the Mindskitter, but Echo was beginning to wonder how this creature has survived for any amount of time with seemingly endless knowledge, but so curious and thoughtless at the same time. Randomly reaching out to strangers minds and moving things without care. It was certainly reckless, but perhaps luck is better than skill any day.
As the jackalope boy ran off and apparently knocked himself out on a rock, another visitor came to the group. This campfire, was becoming a rather bustling spot in these halls. Echo didn't really notice before how many halls actually connected to this room. It was like a hub or epicenter. She was a rather pretty girl, but he was pretty deformed and barely looked human himself. He wasn't sure how the white armor came to be stuck to him or how his skin turned grey. He was pretty sure he was human though. Something in him told him he was human. Anyways this Ruby Red claimed to be a mage and wore a large pointy hat. She certainly did look odd. Like someone he met before who called herself a witch, but that person was old, very old, in fact she looked older than possible, but this girl was quite the opposite. She seemed rather friendly, but her smile held some sort of secret. He began to write in the ground again for her. Hi Rose, I'm Echo.
Jack felt the ship lurch forward and immediately began to curse under his breath. Ships didn't lurch naturally and it always meant a headache for him. Soon after, the A.I. began to go off announcing engine failure. Jack had already been running to the engine rooms, and with the A.I. going off he picked up the pace a little more.
He was yelling at some of the other engineers that had been on duty asking for a status of the engines and what they could do for power. As soon as he knew a bit of the situation, he began barking orders to divert power to the working systems. It seemed the main thrusters were beyond a quick repair, but there was still power, for now.
They had diverted power to shields, but the onslaught was still continuing. "Stop getting shot!" He shouted into a commlink to the bridge. Not a moment after he finished a different kind of impact hit the ship. "I wonder if that pilot knows to dodge the projectiles," He grumbled to himself. He figured that may have been a boarding crew since it seemed the main fire stopped. With the ship in barely stable conditions and the shields holding fine, he moved on to help the crew repair the far left thruster. It seemed to take the least amount of damage and may be able to work in the next several minutes. He kept a few other crews keeping the other systems like RADAR and LADAR functioning as well. If they were being borded Sukaina would have to take care of it primarily with her crew.
I just read the OP again and I'm not very familiar with fae in general, but I actually thought it was rather well written and organized. Falk is supposed to be the most powerful so most of what anyone else does would be technically more of a side story. The list of Fae with their courts was especially helpful to denote that they were supposed to have certain characteristics based on where they are from and certain Fae are more akin to certain courts. This RP got a lot of feedback the first time around, but not many followed through with it. I ended up stopping RP altogether for a bit, so I was part of the problem, but the OP seems pretty good in my opinion.
Jack is a big guy at 6'7 and 294lbs. He has Strawberry blonde hair and blue green eyes. He believes physical fitness is as important as studying and works out daily.
Age: 32 Gender: Male
Background: Jack grew up in a rather normal family. He was the second youngest of four, but overall the biggest in his family. His father and mother were both pretty tall, and worked very hard. His father worked as a custodian at a college his whole life and as a perk his children were allowed free admission in the college. Jack took great advantage of earned a masters in electronic engineering, with a focus in radar. After college he got a job working as a radar technician on frigates. He was rather excellent in his field and began to expand his work to all parts of frigates, learning all of their ins and outs. His hard work and obvious devotion got him noticed and promoted pretty quickly, in ways too quickly. He didn't like the new more administrative positions in which he was put, but with the ethics he grew up with, he worked hard even in those positions. When it came time to find chief engineers for Project Apollo, he was an obvious choice.
Personality: As big as Jack is, he is still very gentle. Though he could break most like a twig he has a lot of patience and seeing him get mad at anyone is a shock. Inanimate objects on the other hand are quite his bane. If Jack gets it in his head something should work one way and decides not to, it best change it's mind quickly before Jack rearranges it altogether. He has realized that crushing things is not the solution if it's not working and goes through great care not to lose his temper on things. Otherwise, he is rather kind, sometimes a smart aleck and he is very strategic in his actions. He is not the most coordinated or athletic despite being strong, but still does well simply because he is in the right place at the right time. He knows how almost every system on a frigate works and is very good at jerry-rigging. Jack cares about his friends and crewmates a lot and is very eager to be in the front lines of fights. Although his aim is quite terrible, he tries to make up for his incapabilities by being the cover for those that do have good aim.
Equipment: Heavy Armor with nanoweave fibers, a weaker personal shield with quick regeneration and a Kinetic barrier. Harpy pistol. Grenades. Possibly more depending on the mission, ie; resources, tools, etc.
Strengths: -He is very good at repairing things. He has worked very hard at it and as such has become very good at it. Though he is good at repairing even at the cost of jerry-rigging, he is not good at creating things from random resources. -Very good in close quarter/melee combat. His brothers grew up wrestling and fighting and he learned a lot from it. He also takes combat classes as a workout and stress relief. -Good at strategy games. He has always been thinking and is good at seeing the rules of situations and games and using them.
Weakness: -Terrible aim. Most of his shots are more point and pray than anything. He has gone through several trainings for shooting, but nonetheless because of his discoordination he just can't get it down. -Empathetic. He tends to shy away from emotions and drama. Seeming uncaring at times. -Reckless. Jack can tend to care about himself very little, putting himself in danger even when not necessary.
