Personality;  Due to being partially raised by monks her personal motto is, "Need not unsay what was not said in the first place." Although a good diplomat she has little problem killing someone who is hurting another person needlessly. Being bullied as a child she is fiercly against such thing as an adult and often has to be pulled away from killing a bully. She is very witty and intelligent her street smarts give her a very 'real world' logic that more soft born people lack.   Taught by the monks to be kind to everyone she is often described as very helpful, polite but a bit reserved.  By her critics she is often put as soft spoken and very closed up to people.

Species:   Amethyst Vampire 
	These vampires originated from Scandinavia and were rumored to have begun from a viking being incidentally turned by a vampire.   Immune to most vampire ails including sunlight.  Amethyst vampires are known to be telekinetically inclined, they can control most elements although not any sort of metal object. The reason for this is unknown.  Most of the few Amethyst vampires main “element” is air although a few of the older ones may even be able to control fire. 	Their greatest weakness is iron, as cuts from such material will leave a faint scar.  
	Amethyst vampires main defining feature is their purple eyes, hence their name. The color can range from a dark almost black color to a light pastel purple. Another defining feature is their small claws, both males and females have them. However, the females also have a slightly toxic breath that can knock out a human and weaken another male vampire.  Regular human food can be consumed however the nutrients gathered from it is slim to none.  Their diet is mostly animals however, they do venture out into a city or other area and feed upon criminals. 
	 Often times in battle they use their telekinesis with air to speed up their movements or slow down their opponent.  However, their strength is up to par with most other vampire species. 
 	There are several types of groups these vampires fall into.  Females once they leave their parents are often loners until they find a suitable territory.  Once they are old enough and strong enough to be able to keep their territory they can look for a mate. To find suitable territories the girls may travel across countries find territory. For it to be a suitable location it needs to have a variety of animal game (usually near a water source) distance to human settlements is not a problem as they only need to feed from humans a few times a month.  
	Females are incredibly territorial. Fierce territorial battles often arise from one female intruding onto another territory. Although, it is not unheard of for mothers to seek out and visit their children. Young males travel in small groups, often their own brothers looking for mates. Fighting between such groups is common however killing ones opponent is deeply frowned upon due to the small amount of members in their species. 
	One way for a vampire to be turned is for a couple to find (often an orphaned or abused)  child, usually from a few days to a few years old. A blood ritual is performed and the child will obtain the same purple eyes or a mixture of its parents. They will grow at an eccelirated rate until they are 9 years old. At that age they will be bitten and changed by both parents.  Another way is for a single vampire to bite a human on the neck and wrists.  The wrists is important as it starts the change, for just regular feeding they can knock out the human and drink from it without changing it. Do to their more inclination towards nature and dislike of killing they rarely take blood from an innocent. Preferring to feed from the lowlives of society and killing them. 

Goals/Faction:  Loner Vampire 

Backstory:  Backstory; 

	At only two weeks old she was found by her vampire parent in an abandoned house.  Her human relatives lay killed in the floor below.  Liana her mother, and her mate, Dalton took her in.  With the blood ritual she took on the dark eyes of her mother and grew to look and act like a 15 year old girl by the time she was 6.  
	Just before she turned 7 her parents were killed by a rival territory group that did not share the belief of “no killing”.  Nia fled towards the mountains, disguising herself as a young farm boy.  Due to her age she had not been fully changed yet so her speed and stamina were not that of a full vampire although she did have some air ability.   Upon reaching the mountains she was found by a middle aged Chinese monk.   He was surrounded by three bandits.  Deciding to help the man she knocked out one opponent and the distraction helped him take care of the other two. 
	The man introduced himself as Ta Lee, a member of the Shaolin temple. In thanks for her aide he offered her a place as an apprentice.  Having nowhere else to go Nia accepted the offer.  However, the other young apprentices of the temple were not so welcoming.  Her strange looks and incredible fast reflexes earned her attention. Both good and bad.    Her attempts at ignoring them were futile and their jealousy grew as she learned at a much faster pace than the rest of them.   Ta lee saw it necessary to teach her not only Shaolin techniques but also a few Japanese style weapons. Including the short katana blades and the Shanzi (iron fan).  
	Eventually, the jealousy grew to violence,  Nia beat two of her attackers before Ta Lee intervened.  Nia was separated from the other children and tutored separately. 
With training she eventually became almost immune to the effects iron had on her kind, although the plentiful scars are still there.  Ta Lee kept secret her origin and diet she would eventually have.  At some points he even encouraged it. “To rid the world of evil men is a service, my dear, not a crime.”
	A young Amethyst vampire named Pierce, was passing through and spotted Nia training.  Seeing her struggle with her elemental practice he stopped and showed her few tricks. Grateful, Ta lee gave him a small pendant.  He explained that Pierce would  be seen as a friend of any Shaolin temple as long as he wore it.  Pierce offered to continue to teach Nia what a full vampire would need to know. Within a few weeks he was able to change her.   Only hours after her change a messenger from another temple came.  The neighboring temple had collapsed, and the army only days behind him.  Ta Lee hurried to finish Nia’s training, he branded her with her first marks. The tiger, dragon and wolf.  The first two were representations of her temple and style while the wolf represented her personal style.  
	The monks defeated the army with the help of Pierce and Nia however, so many died in the days afterword including Ta Lee that the remaining monks cursed them. Saying them as evil spirits who brought this upon them.  Pierce and Nia fled to their ancestral home in Scandinavia. 

Powers/Skills:  Normal Amethyst Vampire abilities along with her Chinese training. 
	With her training plus supernatural abilities she is much stealthier than the average vampire. She is able to get out of most situations by talking her way out but will resort to fighting if necessary.

Four hidden knives each 3-4 inches long on her person.
A recurve bow and arrows. 
Small dried herbs tied in a pouch on her belt that contains a small first aid kit.

		This RP is not focused on romance however there will be some in there. I am looking for a few people interested in a Marauders time period rp.  My character whom I will post below gets sick of the bullying happening at Hogwarts and decides to do something about it. Her goal is to stop the famous marauders from antagonizing any more people. She starts a martial arts club once a week in an empty classroom Professor Dumbledore gave her permission to use. There will be fighting, gang type fights where no wands are allowed. This is a very gang orientated RP. However, the victims of the bullies aren't going around murdering people like real life gangs. The two groups the Marauders and the Kicking Nerds as they are later called will be fighting. Her mission is to teach the ones being bullied how to defend themselves and to be confident enough to do so. This is a setting, the specific plot will be decided once there are some people interested.  In a nutshell this is about them standing up for themselves against bullies.

	Physical description; 
	Curly black hair with sea blue eyes. About 5'1 in hight and with a lean build. Multiple scars on her arms and a single one stretching across her jawline.  Usually has tape wrapped around her hands and fingers connecting to dark purple cloth going up to her elbows. Pulls her hair into a french braid that goes down to her elbows.  Small blue stone nose piercing and little silver hoops in her ears.  Navy pants tucked into grey combat boots and a grey leather belt around her waist. 
	Personality; 
	Speaks only when needed and has a very no nonsense approach.  Will not tolerate any sort of bullying and will either knock them down a few pegs or knock them down the many staircases at Hogwarts.  Loves to engage in playful sparring and is fiercely competitive as one of the Chasers on the Gryfinndor team.
