A few minutes earlier a phone was ringing inside a car parked in the campus. Actually the poor excuse of a phone had been ringing for quite a while now. With a groan he stretched as much as his old Audi would allow him, then reached for the phone. After a short glance on the green and black screen he pressed the green silicone button as he lead the phone to his ear. "Long nights and morning calls don't mix, mate..." The person on the other side just ignored him and asked in a monotone voice whether he was ready for the lecture. God damn it... he thought as he took another look at the phone's screen. Heaving a sigh he answered to the voice on the line that everything's OK. Well it was actually the reason why he had parked here and went to sleep in the car. Well, see ya later, I suppose... he left as a goodbye cutting the connection.
While opening the door of his car he gave a double check to his attire. A high-casual gray suit, somewhat crumpled because he was sleeping in it, white shirt, black tie and black leather shoes. Acceptably bland clothes for a bland assignment. He passed a hand through his hair, he had forgot to wash it when he came back from his night shift. With a deft move he pulled his shoulder long hair into a pony tail leaving just a lock of hair to dangle over his left cheek. He glanced once into the side view mirror of his car, the old face looking back stopped surprising him a long time ago. His once raven black hair was now streaked with gray, once gentle features hardened by work, a 2 day beard framed his goatee. For a 29 year old man he looked at least some 5 years older, thou it suited him just fine. Grabbing the briefcase he had prepared for the lecture he made his way towards the Social Studies lecture hall. From his coat he pulled out an old pocket watch that matched his appearance. He had about 3 minutes left....
As previously established the Dean of the Psychology Department would enter the hall first and make the announcement. A dignified old man he was, but a "tad" too Englishman for his taste, too sever. But imposing respect just by his presence. They had met a few days ago to finalize his transfer. Arriving before the door of the hall he listened to the reactions inside.
"...leave of absence" A groan could be heard from the students. "Quiet!" The Dean barked "We have brought in someone to take her place, from my point of view he..." another faint groan was silenced quickly by the Dean's glare. "...still quite young to occupy this position, but his achievements speak for themselves. Please stand up and welcome the new teacher for this lecture."
At that he opened the door and strode in, a total opposite to the Dean, unrefined and with a youthful smile on his face. "Thanks mate, you did me a great honor presenting me like that..." The Dean's already taught face darkened at the insulting camaraderie this wannabe teacher presented. Without saying anything else thou, he turned sharply towards the exit and left with "Good day, sir" making the last word sound as derogatory as possible. Watching the Dean leave, he heaved a sigh of relief. Well, that's that, turning his back to the students he grabbed a piece o chalk and started writing his name on the huge board. Name's Karl, Karl Adalwulf. Nice to meet y'all.
Looking at the seated students with his eternal smirk of a smile he was amazed to see the number of male students in a boring course as Social Studies, but then he remembered seeing the former teacher, a milf looking redhead. Everyone seemed to be at their best, even some of the scarce female students. There were also some extreme cases, like a guy that seemed to be a peacock and a young woman dressed in pajamas. Was she planing to have the teacher give the course in bed? If this is how you guys usually plan to come to class, we will have a great time. Now, I sincerely don't know what the redhead was teaching you, and don't really care. But please try to be a little more casual, especially you mate. he said pointing at the overdressed peacock. and you miss...no offence but you are too casual, any more and you'd be wearing a leaf...
Now, what do you think you will study in my class?
