Kat scowled, watching Daniel turning around as if searching for something and then turning back to her, only to do it again. She was about to ask if everything was alright when he suddenly started walking towards her, his eyes intently on her face. She looked up at him, her heart beatin a mile a minute. She had been so proud when she had managed to step back and away. She couldn't ebelieve the direction her thoughts had started running into. Who would kiss a brother? Or, well, someone who had always been like a brother to her, with whom she'd always fooled around with like a brother. Why this sudden change of feelings?
She gasped and was ripped out of her thoughts when she felt Daniels hands on her shoulders, holding her tightly, but gently. His hands were shaking a little, she noticed and she slowly started realizing what was happening, what he was about to do. And she didn't pull away, just watched him with wide eyes. "I'm gonna... make this quick." he told her and then leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. The kiss was short, a little awkward and Daniel pulled away quickly, as if expecting her to slap him for it. Not that she was ladylike enough to slap him, if she really wanted to, she would just knock him over the head, or put her knee where it really hurts, or... She blinked. She wasn't going to do any of that. "Come on, can you call that a kiss?" she heard a whisper from somewhere and flicked her eyes around for a second, but they were alone.
Kat looked back up at Daniel. "Well.. How about it?" he asked her, really looking like he was scared of her revenge. She needed a second to think about this. Her cheeks were blushing, her heart had skipped a bit when their lips had met, and even though it was faint, she could still feel he lips tingle with that kiss. Daniels lips had been unexpectedly soft, she mused to herself. Her eyes wandered to those lips. "Do you really call that a kiss?" she asked, faintly echoing those whispered words. And then, before she let herself think about it too much, she stepped forward, towards Daniel, and reached up, puttin one hand on the back of his neck and the other lightly on his shoulder, drawing him down and closer, to really kiss him.
Emilia watched her childhood friends incredulously. She had been reaching out to hit Lann over the back of his head when he had started that whispering, but she ahd stopped herself when she realized it was actually working, though she was pretty sure he was just doing it out of amusement. Judging by the way he was snickering and giggling, that guess wasn't too far off. She smiled at him though, when he turned around to look at her, remembering in that instant all the things they had been up to that morning. She blushed, lightly. Emilia reached out and tugged him close for a sweet kiss.
In the back of her mind, she was still in a state between despair at what she had found out and denial. What she felt with Lann.. that couldn't be anything bad, right? They loved each other. And they would continue to do so, no matter what. It didn't feel wrong, not at all. And that she was feeling that way, had Emilia somehow doubt that him being her cousin was actually even true. Would she not be feeling differently now, if that really was the truth? Wouldn't they be able to feel it if they were related? If the were not meant to love each other? The thoughts gave her a headache, and she really wanted to talk it all out with someone, but the only one who knew was Lann. And while she knew she could always go to him, no matter what, she somehow craved telling Kat. But she wouldn't, because her reaction... She didn't want to see that.
Emilia shook her head, getting rid of the thoughts and pulled back with a smile. "Do you want to go to class or just leave and go somewhere else? My home, probably?" she asked him, offering that last bit, because they had already missed half the day of school, and she really didn't want to go in there now. She would have to remember to write their friends a text though, to tell them that she was fine, just feeling sick or something like that. She felt bad for having to lie to her friends, but having this get out was not an option. And even though she hated the thought of having to hider her relationship with Lann, because them being cousins was something that they couldn't stop from somehow getting out eventually, she was no other option.
