Hey :) I'd really like to try a Harry Potter rp, pm me?
Takiko glanced back at the guys, trying to make out how bad her patient was doing. The badages were holding, but she couldn't keep him like that forever, she needed to treat him and stitch the wounds as soon as possible. She sighed and looked back out onto the street. "I'll have a quick look, see whether someone needs help." she said and pulled the gun out of her waistband. "I'll be quick about it, then we'll head on and find a place to stay for a couple days." She opened the door, but leaned back to look at Ryan. "I'd rather have you stay and keep an eyes on him, I'll call if I need help." she told him, then slipped slowly out of the car and onto the street, looking around carefully before she moved away from the vehicle.

The sound of the explosion sure had alarmed all the creatures around, though most of them might still be back at the place in the woods where they'd left them. Or at least, Takiko hoped they were. She'd had enough of them for now, forever actually, but thinking that she'd ne ver have to see them again was a dream that she knew wouldn't come true no matter how badly she wished for it. And this was definetly not the place or time to get lost in thought. She raised her gun as she made her way throught the debris, searching for any sign of life while concentrating on any sounds that indicated the creatures were closing in already. It seems she still had some time left. She went on searching the metal parts that lay scattered across the concrete. It seemed that the explaoison had involved at least one car and almost half of the gas station. She was pretty sure that that kind of explosion didn't just happen on its own.
no worries, I rectefied that ;)
Everyone alright with that?
Kat scowled, watching Daniel turning around as if searching for something and then turning back to her, only to do it again. She was about to ask if everything was alright when he suddenly started walking towards her, his eyes intently on her face. She looked up at him, her heart beatin a mile a minute. She had been so proud when she had managed to step back and away. She couldn't ebelieve the direction her thoughts had started running into. Who would kiss a brother? Or, well, someone who had always been like a brother to her, with whom she'd always fooled around with like a brother. Why this sudden change of feelings?

She gasped and was ripped out of her thoughts when she felt Daniels hands on her shoulders, holding her tightly, but gently. His hands were shaking a little, she noticed and she slowly started realizing what was happening, what he was about to do. And she didn't pull away, just watched him with wide eyes. "I'm gonna... make this quick." he told her and then leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. The kiss was short, a little awkward and Daniel pulled away quickly, as if expecting her to slap him for it. Not that she was ladylike enough to slap him, if she really wanted to, she would just knock him over the head, or put her knee where it really hurts, or... She blinked. She wasn't going to do any of that. "Come on, can you call that a kiss?" she heard a whisper from somewhere and flicked her eyes around for a second, but they were alone.

Kat looked back up at Daniel. "Well.. How about it?" he asked her, really looking like he was scared of her revenge. She needed a second to think about this. Her cheeks were blushing, her heart had skipped a bit when their lips had met, and even though it was faint, she could still feel he lips tingle with that kiss. Daniels lips had been unexpectedly soft, she mused to herself. Her eyes wandered to those lips. "Do you really call that a kiss?" she asked, faintly echoing those whispered words. And then, before she let herself think about it too much, she stepped forward, towards Daniel, and reached up, puttin one hand on the back of his neck and the other lightly on his shoulder, drawing him down and closer, to really kiss him.
Emilia watched her childhood friends incredulously. She had been reaching out to hit Lann over the back of his head when he had started that whispering, but she ahd stopped herself when she realized it was actually working, though she was pretty sure he was just doing it out of amusement. Judging by the way he was snickering and giggling, that guess wasn't too far off. She smiled at him though, when he turned around to look at her, remembering in that instant all the things they had been up to that morning. She blushed, lightly. Emilia reached out and tugged him close for a sweet kiss.

In the back of her mind, she was still in a state between despair at what she had found out and denial. What she felt with Lann.. that couldn't be anything bad, right? They loved each other. And they would continue to do so, no matter what. It didn't feel wrong, not at all. And that she was feeling that way, had Emilia somehow doubt that him being her cousin was actually even true. Would she not be feeling differently now, if that really was the truth? Wouldn't they be able to feel it if they were related? If the were not meant to love each other? The thoughts gave her a headache, and she really wanted to talk it all out with someone, but the only one who knew was Lann. And while she knew she could always go to him, no matter what, she somehow craved telling Kat. But she wouldn't, because her reaction... She didn't want to see that.

Emilia shook her head, getting rid of the thoughts and pulled back with a smile. "Do you want to go to class or just leave and go somewhere else? My home, probably?" she asked him, offering that last bit, because they had already missed half the day of school, and she really didn't want to go in there now. She would have to remember to write their friends a text though, to tell them that she was fine, just feeling sick or something like that. She felt bad for having to lie to her friends, but having this get out was not an option. And even though she hated the thought of having to hider her relationship with Lann, because them being cousins was something that they couldn't stop from somehow getting out eventually, she was no other option.
Greg sighed and watched the other man cuddled in under his blankets, almost looking like he was hiding. He took the empty glass and having seen how SHerlock had been gulping the water down, he got up and went to refill it. He was pretty much clueless as to what to do to help the man. Sure, John would be able to get him back together, probably even in no time at all. But he had promised not to call the friend, and Sherlock was an intelligent man. He was aware that John could be doing much more that Greg here, but he hadn't told him anything, so he obviously didn't want him to see him like this.
Returning to the room, he placed the glass of water on the bedside table and sat down at the edge of the bed. "Feeling a little better, yet?" he asked softly, eyes fixed on the man under the blankets. Seeing the proud, arrogant Sherlock like this... Greg couldn't stand it. "Look,.." he started, not really sure what he wanted to say. "I.. I really want to help you. But it doesn't seem like I am actually doing anything right here. Maybe you shoud consider telling John after all, he knows..." he trailed off, not sure whether he wanted to say 'he knows you a lot better than I do.' or just 'he knows what to do in these kind of situations.'
Greg sighed again and turned around, looking out of the window. The weather had worsened. It was still daytime but the clouds made it seem like late afternoon, if not evening. Just kind of more grey and depressing. He was sure it would start raining soon. He would have to show up at work sometime again as well. And it seemed Sherlock was in no condition to help out, which said a lot about his condition and only made Greg worry about him that much more. "If you want to be left alone for a while, I would understand. You just have to tell me and I will leave, for now." he offered, not really being earnest, because he really didn't want that, but still.
I'm really sorry for taking so long, but exams are over now, at least the first round, so I'll be replying a lot more !
Takiko nodded, having expected that and gestured to her backpack before climbing into the drivers seat. Takiko hesitated for a second, blinking when she heard a dull, booming sound in the distance. She glanced around, but the trees were still obscuring her view. SHe shook her head, concentrating on the matter at hand. As usual, she didn't bother outting on the seatbelt, just started up the car. Her feet on the pedals, she turned the key, the car coughed, then stopped doing anything. "No. NonononoNO.." he murmured, trying again with her eyes closed, praying for it to work. "C'mon now, don't let us down..." she went on and sighed in relief as the car came to live. Takiko glanced into the back and at the guys. "Let's get out of here." she said and floored the pedal, getting them the hell out of there.

From time to time, she glanced into the side-mirrors, noticing that they were quickly losing the creatures, even those that had trailed them, or tried. Once they were all out of sight, she saw a proper road coming up ahead and turned onto it, slowing down a little and glancing back at the others. "Okay. Knight, get the sleeping back from my backpack and spread it out somewhere. Help my patient lie down, he needs to rest." she told him, or, rather, ordered him. Well, she was apparently the oldest by at least a couple years. Though the guys might not realize, since she didn't actually look it. "Make sure his wounds are still tighly nadaged, he's lost more than enough blood already. And tell me if they're not. We've got to find some place secure soon, I have to treat him properly, stitch up the wounds, get him some antibiotics." she went on, partly just saying her thoughts out loud as she tried to get a hold of the situation and think things through.

Takiko turned another corner, heading towards the Chicago suburbs. She blinked and gasped. "Hey! Do you see that?" she asked, pointing to the smoke billowing up into the sky, already fading out. And coming from an obviously recently blown up gas station down the street. There was debris and parts of metal spread widely around, littering the street. She hit the brakes, carefully, so as to not jostle her patient, and drove on slowly, checking out the area. She was pretty sure a gasstation wouldn't blow up on it's own, especially without any electricity working anymore. So someone had to be around. Another surivivor. And considering how loud that kind of thing must've been, there would be a lot of creatures budlting about the place soon. "So that was what I heard just now.." Takiko mumbled quietly to herself, her eyes searching their surroundings.
Finally, they were there. The guy in her arms was getting heavier with every step and Takiko had been afraid if they had taken any longer to arrive at her van, they might not have made it after all. She was pretty strong, but there were limits to a womans body, especially after the kind of diet she'd been forced on for a long time now. She almost smiled when they crossed the dirt road and took a turn to head for the van. She had forced herself not to look back once, but the rifle their knight was using was so loud, she was sure for every creature he killed, two new ones arrived. Looking ahead she sighed in relieve at the sight of her car not too far away now, and scowled the next second at seeing two creatures standing, if you could call it that, besides it. As if they were waiting for the owner to get back. A sign of intelligence? the scientific part of her mind spoke up, but she forced it back. This was so not the time to be starting to analyze those creatures now.

Their knight had noticed as well and in a matter of seconds took care of the two by the car. Then they arrived and fished the car keys out of her pocket, quickly unlocking the back door. She opened the door and made sure her patient could hold onto something to stay upright, before she let go of him, through both their bags inside and then climbed in herself, turning to help him up. She glanced at their knight for a moment. He looked young. She would actually put him somewhere around eighteen, considering his appearance, his height and the length of his limbs, as well as the finer details of his face. Generally, she was pretty good, or had been, at evaluating peoples age. But she hadn't had any practice for a while now. If you met someone out here, another survivor, it didn't usually matter how old he or she is. Now, it was different though. If he was around eighteen, then the chances of him being able to drive were slim. Noone was there to teach him, so it was not his fault. But she'd much rather take care of her patient than drive. "I assume I'll have to drive?" she asked him, just to make sure.
Thank you :*
