Let's Write A Story!

Hey, just read your post.
The Kingdom Story really intrigued me.

A little about myself. I'm a 26 y/o college student studying film and film making. I have been roleplaying on and off for about 7 years or so maybe longer maybe a little less. I am all about the story and seeing where everything can go. High fantasy is my favorite style, but I also like a little bit of everything so I'm willing to work with anything. I try to never do one liners, i prefer to work out kinks in OOC to see what can be fixed or added, or just to help get inspiration.

I recently came back to rp because I needed to get this escape back, so I plan on being as active as possible, but if I have to stop for any amount of time, I try to be considerate and let people know whats going on. I really like getting to know the people I'm sharing the story with, so I like talking OOC just as much as IC.

History: Matt Murdock was raised in Hell's Kitchen by his father Battlin' Jack, the prize fighter. Early on Matt was blinded by some radioactive material that enhanced his other senses. He was mentored by the blind sensei Stick of the clan Chaste. He became and excellent fighter and adept at using his other senses to help him out. He went to law school, and subsequently created his own law firm with his best friend and roommate Foggy Nelson. By day, he works to help the disenfranchised find their place in the eyes of the law, and by night he seeks to bring those who would do harm down in justice.

This is modern as in 21st century, current time frame. The history of the dragons is more like a myth, and people just prefer to cling to science. And part of the story of why the Dragons have returned just now is something they are trying to figure out. They have connected to hosts that are from different walks of life, and all that jazz, but from what I'm thinking is like the Darkness had only left to gather his strength for the ages and now he's finally strong enough to at least gain some small corporeal form, and they are trying to get control of their powers and fight this oncoming threat.

I have like plots for where everything could go, but I just want to see if I could get a group of people going and progress it naturally.

Alt Universe Steampunk High fantasy int check

A world that resembles our own, but during the steampunk revolution. A world where magic had never died, just took a back seat to technology. The dwarves forged ahead and led for a time as innovators. The elves were disgusted, and retreated to the wilds to continue practicing their own way. Humans didn't care to work along side the dwarves for a while. They were mutually beneficial. Then the dwarves go greedy, and the flew too close to the sun. There was an event and they fell. Humans rose up.

I feel like a late 1800's, but thats all I got, I'm open to brainstorming and everything
