[Josh] Josh couldn't help but smile at Anthony's words of encouragement. "We've already done this once. And this time we've got a legendary on our side." He said, starting to think about their battle with Reshiram. It was won because of that one move. He'd seen Anthony use it before then as well, when they were fighting the first orb's guardian. As far as he knew, it wasn't something that Anthony had control over, but it didn't seem random, either. There had to be some way of triggering it, but how? [Dexter] Though the guildmaster did fly into the bookcase, it wasn't enough to knock it on top of him. Still, Dexter was determined. He waited for a chance to knock him into the bookshelf again, but then the Bronzor decided to try tipping it over while the guildmaster was nowhere near it. He had a feeling that Rebecca's protests wouldn't do much to stop him, so he took things into his own hands... or paws, in this case. Rushing forwards, he sunk his teeth into the guildmaster's arm, trying to pull him towards the bookcase. Seeing the pink one with the ribbons nearby, he looked at her, then looked at the bookcase. Since his mouth was full, though, he couldn't really say anything, but he hoped that she would understand what he was trying to tell her. [Donovan] The wooden stick didn't do much to Donovan's tough metal skin, though it did draw his attention away from the Salandit. As he turned to face the stick-wielding Gible and leapt forward, flailing his limbs wildly and trying to hit him with Metal Claw. As he landed, he felt the heat of flames on his backside, and though he hadn't been burned, it clearly did a fair bit of damage. "Fire only makes my rage burn even hotter!" He shouted, charging towards the source of the fiery attack.
Appearance Description: Mia is a somewhat small quadrupedal dragon, standing at about 5'2" and weighing 130lbs. despite being quadrupedal, she can quite easily stand on her hind legs, and even has opposable thumbs. She has a pair of wings on her back, each one about 5' long when fully extended. Her scales are mostly a light green colour, save for the thicker ones on her neck and stomach, which are slightly darker. She has a 'mane' of white feathers, which goes from the top of her head right to the tip of her tail. She has a horn on each side of her head, which curve around and point forward. Her eyes are a deep shade of purple, and have thin, slit-shaped pupils. As for clothing, Mia wears a set of white robes that wouldn't look out of place on a mage. She typically leaves the hood up, though her face is still clearly visible. Underneath the robes, she has several straps which securely hold her bow and first-aid kit, one under each wing.
Personality: Mia is shy and reclusive, usually only speaking when she absolutely needs to. On the rare occasion that she does talk, she does so in a hushed voice, barely loud enough to hear. To some, this may make her seem weak and naive, but that's far from the truth. She's much more sharp-witted than she may initially seem, and she always has her guard up around those who she doesn't know. It can be difficult to gain her trust, and though she's willing to cooperate with strangers, she won't let her guard down around them.
Backstory:
Back when she was still human, Mia was a med school student. She was the type who never talked to people or made friends, seeing such things as a waste of time. All she really cared about at the time was her grades and exams. If she would've known what would happen next, she would've never bothered. In just one night, all of the hard work to maintain her straight A's had gone to waste.
Mia couldn't even comprehend what happened at first. It was almost like a dream. Her body was completely transformed, she had powers that shouldn't have been possible outside of fiction, and when she went outside, there was mass panic. She fled from the chaos of the city, moving closer to the outskirts. After coming across a heavily wooded area, she set up a shelter there, away from civilization.
Over time, she used her magic to manipulate the forest in order to protect herself and her belongings. After several weeks, the once easy-to-navigate woods were transformed into a twisting maze of vines and roots. While Mia had the whole thing mapped out, anyone else would get lost, and quickly succumb to Mia's Snares and Light Arrows. Rumors quickly spread, and after hearing about the so-called 'green witch' in the 'cursed forest', most people started to avoid it.
Meanwhile, a cult in the city she fled from grew more and more powerful. They patrolled the surrounding area, kidnapping anyone they found. Of course, since she'd isolated herself, Mia didn't even know about them at first. Her first encounter was with one of their victims who'd managed to escape. The heavily mutated Gryphon went into Mia's maze to hide, and moments later, several cultists went in after her. Just like all the others, though, Mia was able to fend them off.
Though the cultists were gone, the one they were after was in terrible condition. By the time Mia found her, she was unconscious, and after getting a closer look, she was shocked that she was still alive. With her healing magic, Mia was able to tend to most of her wounds, but the growths on her body were a different story. The magic had no effect on them, and she couldn't do much else without modern medical equipment. She decided that she had to find out what those cultists did to the poor girl, otherwise she wouldn't be able to do anything to help her.
After making sure nobody could get to her patient, she left her maze for the first time since the ordeal started. As refreshing as it was to be out of that claustrophobic forest, she was constantly on her toes. She kept her distance, avoiding the cultists as much as possible. She was able to locate most of their bases and outposts, but she knew she couldn't take them on alone.
One night, she returned to find that some of her Snares had been set off. Fearing the worst, she rushed to her shelter in the center of the maze. It was there that she met Trevor and his group of adventurers. They initially assumed that Mia was part of the cult, since she had one of their victims hidden away in her shelter. She assumed the same about them as well, but after a brief standoff, they soon understood that they had a common enemy. After sharing everything she knew, she joined them in their quest to take the cult down.
After fighting many waves of cultists, they eventually tracked down and defeated their leader, freeing his prisoners and claiming a piece of some kind of artifact. While Trevor continued his journey, Mia opted to stay behind. A lot of the prisoners were in the same condition as the girl she found earlier, and she wanted to try everything she could to repair the damage that had been done to them.
Even after Trevor's quest was finished she continued to care for the victims. That was, until the day that she saw something in the sky. Upon going outside, she noticed Trevor heading over to investigate, but there was a problem. His usual group of companions wasn't with him. He went out there on his own, without any backup. Mia decided to follow him, just to make sure he didn't get himself into any trouble. As she got to the top of the mountain, though, she noticed that Trevor wasn't there. All she could find was the artifact that he carried around with him. While she didn't know how to use it, she picked it up anyway, and ended up accidentally activating it. Much to her surprise, she was teleported away, to the same place that Trevor ended up.
power section-
Skills:
Healer - While she's far from a professional, Mia has a decent amount of medical knowledge. This, combined with her healing magic, makes her particularly good at keeping her allies alive.
Botany - Since most of her magic revolves around plants, she's picked up a fair bit of knowledge about them.
Memory - Her near-photographic memory has helped her in many situations, such as getting amazing grades in med school, and memorizing the layout of her forest maze.
Traits:
Nimble - While she isn't much of a fighter, she does have the upper hand when it comes to speed and agility. It's helped her escape from many unfavorable situations.
Tough Scales - Her body is covered in thick scales, which are very difficult to cut or slice through. Blunt force, on the other hand...
Flight - She uses her wings to lift herself off the ground, and go from point A to point B. Just don't expect her to do anything more than that. She's not nearly as agile as she is on the ground.
Powers:
Like others in her chunk, Mia has control over two elements. In her case, it's Light and Nature.
Barrier - A small barrier of light appears in front of Mia, protecting her from harm. It can be broken if hit with enough force.
Light Arrow - An arrow-like projectile that travels in a straight line, piercing through multiple targets. The only spell in Mia's arsenal that can do any physical harm.
Radiant Aura - A multi-target healing spell. A ring of light forms around Mia, healing the wounds of anyone inside, whether they're an ally or an enemy.
Biokinesis - Mia can speed up the growth of plants, and force them to grow a certain way. Mana cost depends on the size of the plant.
Snare - A simple trap that consists of roots buried underground. Reacting to body heat, they shoot out of the ground and latch on to anything that gets close. Though they don't harm their target in any way, they can hold someone in place for quite some time. The trap lasts for 24 hours, unless it's triggered or destroyed.
Pollen Cloud - A small cloud of pollen forms around Mia, acting as a kind of smoke bomb. While it only causes minor drowsiness in those who escape quickly, anyone who breathes in too much will be put into a deep sleep. She can also expel a smaller amount from her palm, for a reduced magic cost.
Suture - Several vines move along the target's body, suturing any wounds and speeding up the healing process. While it's more effective than Radiant Aura, it only works on a single target.
Equipment: -A simple wooden bow, formed by Mia's nature magic. Though she doesn't carry any arrows, she uses it to shoot her magically-formed Light Arrows.
-A first-aid kit, packed with various medical supplies.
-A white hooded cloak, specifically made to fit a dragon, rather than a human.
Here she is!

[Josh] A loud crashing sound came from the other room, followed by the sound of rushing water. Moments later, Anthony emerged, Pecha Berry in hand. "Ah! Thank you, Anthony." Josh said. By now, Reshiram had pulled himself free. Josh was keeping an eye on him, but couldn't quite tell whether or not he'd been poisoned.
With Reshiram on the field, the Ice-types guarding Kyurem's domain were toast. All that stood in their way now was Kyurem himself. Despite the brave face he was putting on, Josh was terrified. They won the battle against Reshiram through luck alone, and though they had a Legendary of their own this time, he had a feeling that this would be just as difficult.
[Dexter] Despite all of their efforts, the Guildmaster simply healed up, and they were back to square one. With a string of profanity that put Dexter to shame, Nina lunged forwards. In a rage, she began stabbing the Guildmaster over and over again with her poison barbs. "For fuck's sake Nina, calm your ass down!" Dexter called out, but she wouldn't listen. The Guildmaster used Hyper Voice again, hitting Nina the hardest because of how close she was.
Trying to ignore the ringing in his ears, Dexter rushed back towards his fallen comrade. She'd been completely knocked out, but luckily, she was still breathing. "Oh, you're gonna regret that one, motherfucker!" He growled, turning back towards the Guildmaster. Curling up for another Flame Wheel, Dexter sped across the room towards him, trying to hit him with enough force to knock him back into the bookshelf. Maybe if they were lucky, it would fall on top of him.
[Donovan] "Ahaha... You can't be serious, right? You, taking on my champions? Not a chance, small fry. I can't let some kid into the arena. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen!"
Even days later, the Lurantis' words still echoed though Donovan's head. Those words that filled him with unending rage. He charged through the forest, leaving a path of trampled shrubs and snapped branches in his wake. Once he saw something moving out of the corner of his eye, he suddenly stopped. It was a Weedle, one of the wild inhabitants of the forest. Before the poor thing could react, Donovan ran forward, slamming into it with his head. Startled, the Weedle tried to use Poison Sting, only for it to bounce harmlessly off of the Aron's armour. "Nyaaaaaaaagh!" Letting out a war cry, Donovan charged at the Weedle again, this time pinning it to a tree and knocking it out.
He wasn't done yet. No, not until every single Pokemon in this forest felt his wrath. Hearing something nearby, he quickly charged towards the source; A flock of Fletchlings that flew out of Donovan's reach before he could get to them. As he looked up at them, he remembered something he'd seen in the arena. One of his favorite fighters, Juggernaut the Conkeldurr, knocked a Flygon from the sky with his signature move, the Titanic Lunge. It was just what Donovan needed! "If you won't come down and fight, then I'll just use my TITANIC LUNGE!" He was expecting to launch himself into the air and slam each and every Fletchling into the ground, but unfortunately for him, that didn't happen. Instead, he made it about a foot off the ground, before dropping right back down, landing on his face. "Ow..." He stumbled back onto his feet, still a little bit shaken.
The flock of bird Pokemon had lost interest at this point and started to fly away, but Donovan chased after them. "Get back here! Fight with honour!" He shouted, but they were long gone by then. Searching for a new Pokemon to challenge he saw two off in the distance near a river. It looked like a Salandit and a Gible. While any normal Pokemon would immediately be able to tell that these two weren't wild, Donovan hadn't realized this quite yet. "Nyaaaaaaaagh!" Letting out his signature war cry yet again, he charged towards the duo. Going for the Salandit first, he dug some dirt out of the ground, and used Mud Slap.
Name: Donovan Steele Species: Aron Gender: Male Moves: - Harden - Mud Slap - Headbutt - Metal Claw Bio: Donovan has very foggy memories of his early childhood. He used to live in what was pretty much a ghost town, with nothing but sand and rocks for miles. There was really no reason for anyone to go there on purpose. That didn't last long, though. Some millionaire discovered the town and decided to make use of all the unused land. Thus, the Colosseum of Champions was built, and what was once a near-abandonned village was soon transformed into a large, bustling city.
The Colosseum attracted many Pokemon from around the world, including Donovan himself. Every opportunity he got, he would go and watch the gladiators battle. He idolized them, and even began acting like they did in the arena. His mother, noticing this change, forbade him from going, thinking the battles were too violent for him. He didn't let this stop him, though. As terrifying as his mother was, he would still sneak out to the Colosseum whenever she wasn't paying attention.
Eventually, he reached the minimum age to sign up to become a gladiator. Of course, he signed up at the first opportunity. He'd always wanted to be a gladiator, and now he was finally going to fight alongside all of his idols, or so he thought. Unfortunately for him, that wasn't about to happen. For some reason, Donovan hadn't noticed that the gladiators were a lot bigger than he was, and he wouldn't stand a chance in a fight against them. Much to his surprise, the Colosseum's owner simply laughed at him. He left the arena confused, with no idea why they would turn him away.
Outraged, Donovan left everything behind, and ran away from the people who rejected him. He flew into a rage, beating the tar out of anyone who crossed his path, or trying to, at least. Turns out, he wasn't as tough as he thought he was. He was forced to flee from most of the fights he started. Eventually, though, he found a place where he could vent his anger without anyone putting up much of a fight. It was a forest, full of Bug- and Flying-types that didn't really stand a chance against him.
Appearance:
For the most part, Donovan looks like a regular Aron. He does, however, cover his face in red war paint, which he claims is made from the blood of his enemies.
