Amongst the eager, and anticipating, Eurwen was unfortunately the odd one out. Despite all of her training, preparation, and excitement for Beacon, she couldn’t help but find herself succumbing to anxiety. It was a feeling she was all too familiar with, and as it swelled within her chest, and churned in her stomach, she did everyting she could to take to her mind off her thoughts. For most of the airship ride the new school Eurwen kept to herself, arms tightly crossed in discomfort as she sat in the back corner trying to seem as small and insignificant as possible. It wasn't like her to act like this, in fact, the rabbit was typically the polar opposite. The first day at Firelight she had become acquainted with the majority of the students in the airship, and while they all didn't share the same enthusiasm for bonding as she did, Eurwen still didn't have a problem speaking to them. Not like now, though.
Going into a school like this with a cocky attitude was sure to get you killed, but self-doubt was sure to do the same. The diversity among the airship was great, ranging from her kind to humans alike. They all went their own training, and tribulations to end up here, and the rabbit knew she was no different. She had earned her spot here, so there was no reason to feel so drawn. Despite any encouragement she tried to give herself, Eurwen was still stuck worrying. She knew her parents would be disappointed if they could see her now, shaking in her boots, and second guessing herself despite all the training, and stress she had put herself and them through.
A soft 'tsk' escaped her lips as she turned her gaze out the window in frustration, 'What the hell is wrong with me?' Sitting in her chair, her fingers tapped anxiously along the top of her palm, making it evident as to how antsy she had become. Casting a glance over the crowd once again, a heavy sigh hummed through her chest as she thought to herself once more, ‘Not gonna get anywhere just sitting here, I guess.’ Exhausted with herself, and done with the anxious feelings, Eurwen stood from her chair and decided to head to the drink bar.
Weaving through the crowd, the faunus looked over the menu above, before calling out her order once she stood at the bar, "Gin and Tonic, please!" Receiving a look from the bartender, it became quickly obvious he didn't know how to take a joke, "Ah.. just some water, then?" Eyes half lidded with annoyance, she looked away and leaned her cheek against her fist while propping her arm up along the bar. Meekly looking back and forth at the students surround her the clink of the glass cup against the counter forced her attention away before she took the cup into her hand.
With the edge of the glass only inches before her lips a loud crash near one of the many bay windows caused the rabbit to jump, and to unfortunately spill her drink all over the person before her. Eyes wide with terror, and jaw slack in awe, Eurwen held the cup uselessly in her hands as she stared at the massive wet stain, "I.. ah-- I am so sorry!" Scrambling over her words and desperately clawing for a rag behind the counter. Hesitant to dry the stain herself, she held out the rag unsure if she should touch the other or let them dry themselves. Trying to make light of the situation a sheepish smile slipped along features as her tanned cheeks burned red, "Great first impression, huh?" Of course all this did was make the situation even more awkward seeing as she didn't even recognize the victim of her clumsiness. Geez, she was off her game today.
