There had never been a time that the Faunus had felt more ready. After her first day jitters, she was back to her old self, eager for some action, and brimming with confidence. Unlike some of the other students that were covered in head to toe with armor, Eurwen was still wearing her clothes from yesterday. Seeing as this was her battle uniform, she didn’t see the need to put anything new on. Besides, her clothes were sure to get especially dirty today. Listening carefully as Professor Pewter stepped up and began to inform them their test, Eurwen stretched her legs, bouncing back and forth in a low squat.

"The objective is to get to the church located in the center of the city. Inside there will be six relics that are placed at the alter. Each pair takes one relic. There are two of each of the following: a cross, a small gargoyle, and a wooden spoon. No doubt you will face monsters in your path that are set to protect them. They are some kind of source of dark energy we want you to bring back so we can destroy it. You are by all means authorized to use deadly force. If you don't well, you know what happens. After all six relics are retrieved, it will activate a spell that will transport you back to this cliff. Be warned however. If there is any presence of the Grimm withing 20 meters of you, the spell will deactivate and you will be trapped there. We will not be coming to get you.

Pulling her arms in front of her chest and stretching her shoulder, a wide grin sat along her face. It didn’t matter to her if some mistook it for cockiness, Eurwen had been anticipating this day for a long time, and nothing was going to stop her from enjoying it. Even if they were being thrown into dangerous waters. This was what she had been training for, after all. Casting a glance at the other students around her, white runes began to coil around their shapes, teleporting them separately into the unknown region.

Brown eyes flicked over her friends, catching sight of smile along the Chimp Faunus' face, “Good luck, and take a cross.” With Asharts last words in mind, the same runes swept around her, blinding her in a brilliant light as she was teleported off the cliffs.

Falling into a low crouch once her feet touched the ground, Eurwen found herself in a dark room, which she assumed was probably in an abandoned office building. Glancing back and forth around the room, her eyes flickered gold, a trait most Faunus had due to night vision. Dust, dirt, and what looked like old blood caked the windows, blocking out any light from entering the room. Desks were thrown over, broken pieces seemed to be mauled and covered in scratches, while old broken machinery and paper covered in soot and dust laid along the floor.

If there was anything in the room it would have attacked by her, but the Faunus knew better then to make any sudden movements in such a dangerous area. Considering how blinding the runes had been when they had teleported her, she was surprised nothing from the outside had become curious. Crouching through the room and getting a better look at her surroundings, a steady hand sat along the grip of Arcadius. This was her evaluation after all, and she didn’t want to look unprepared in front of the headmistress, or her partner.

Looks like there’s nothing in here.

Deciding to check the room beside her, she took a small breath and pressed against the wall. Oblivious to any danger within the next room, untamed blonde locks slipped through first before her entire head creeped past the drywall in curiosity. Unprepared for what met her on the other end, at least a dozen Beowolves were curled up amongst each other, grunting in there sleep and completely unaware of their now terrified intruder.

Slapping a hand on her mouth before she could lose her breath, and lose her head between the wall, Eurwen threw herself back into the room landing hard on the ground. “Oh crap..” At first there was nothing but silence from the other room, but as she stood and began to take slow steps back, growls and grunts became progressively louder. Twisting around and breaking out into a sprint, the rotting wall behind her exploded in plume of drywall, and debris as a pack of Beowolves came charging out.

Gasping for air and activating her semblance once again, she ghosted through the wall. Phasing through desks and cubicle dividers, nothing stood in her way or broke her footing. The beowolves were persistent however, busting through the second wall with menacing snarls, they kept right at the Rabbits heels, sending desks and office supplies flying. Counting the seconds in her head as she ghosted through wall after wall, Eurwen found herself in the corner office, surrounded by nothing but windows. “Shit—“ There was a chance outside the window was nothing but a drop but with no where else to go, she pulled out Arcadius and began to fire at the glass.

Cutting through the silence of the dead city, three gun shots rang out from the building, as glass fell from the seventh story window and Eurwen came diving out along with it. Soaring above the street below, her body descended down two stories right for the roof of another building. Bracing herself for impact and waving her arms out, her knees took the blow of the fall as she tumbled into a somersault. Not missing a beat, Eurwen rolled to the ball of her feet, skidding to a halt as she was pulled with the momentum.

The Beowolves came soaring after her, jumping out of the window and down to the roof. Standing up quickly, and drawing Arcadius from its thigh strap, Eurwen took aim. Firing off two shots, the first bullet sunk deep into a Beowovles skull, killing it instantly, while the second shot sent its limp shape flying back and off the building. Two others met the same fate before they could land on the roof of the building, however Eurwen had little time to take out any of the others.

Surrounded by at least ten Beowolves, a snarl ripped out from the pack as a single beast decided to take her on, causing adrenaline to flood through her veins. "Here we go.~"

Gripping the hilt of Euythmia with her right hand and keeping her eyes locked with the charging Beowolf, her left foot slid out as she took a strong stance. Claws, and teeth drawn, Eurwen drew the blade as the Grimm towered above her in a pounce. Twisting her body clockwise with the rotation of her foot, steel met flesh and fur, cutting easily through the creature as it fell into two separate bloody clumps.

Earning a roar from the group and two more charging at her, Eurwen quickly took to the offensive. Rushing at her from the front, she evaded a swipe with casual step back and without missing a beat, her left hand snatched the beasts wrist. Wrapping her arm around its bicep, and locked her right leg around its neck as she threw herself up, a sickening snap came from its shoulder as she threw her weight forward, tossing the injured beast into another. Landing in a kneeling position, with one knee on the ground, she flicked her wrist, twirling Euthymia into a reverse grip as two more rushed forward.

Slapping her palm and sword against the roof, her left leg swung back, evading a pounce as the heel of her boot kicked into the Beowolves back. Swiping her sword forward as it shrieked across the cement floor, the blade sliced through the seconds neck, severing its head as it landed with in a bloody lump. Grinning as the fight progressed, Eurwen hopped back, corned at the edge of the building. As much fun as she was having, she knew she wasting time playing around on the roof. By now the others were probably already grouping up, which meant that her chances of partnering up with Ashart, or Fir were growing slim.

Eyeing another rooftop behind her, she placed a foot along the edge and waved at the pack, "Listen boys, it's be fun, but I thinks it time for me to leave this party.~" With a snarl from the Grimm, Eurwen dropped the next roof and broke out into a run with the Beowolves quickly following in pursuit. Jumping from building to building, the Faunus tried her best to lose the pack, but even as she made it out to the street, they were still behind her. With the way things looked, she was going to need to confront them.

Sheathing Euythmia and drawing Arcadius, she came skidding to a halt with a black ambience surrounding her. Aura activated and using all her weight, she twisted around catching the leading Beowolf off guard as her fists slammed into its jaw. Crushing its face and sending it flying back into another. Despite being effective, she had little time to evade or counter a second attack, as another Beowolf rushed from the side and slung at her.

Taking a quick breath before the impact, Eurwens used the hit to throw her body to the side, sending her phasing through the wall and leaving the pack behind. Tumbling through the other side, and breaking down the drywall as she lost her breath, the Rabbit rolled onto the street, holding her ribs with a painful grunt. "Geez'.. that's gonna leave a mark."

Name: Arydnia ‘Arryn’ Tabolt

Age: 18

Race: Human

Bio: Known for its lasting reign over the North, powerful line of Kings, and formidable army, the Kingdom of Taeron has always had special ties with The Labyrinth. Considered taboo through most Royalty, the Lords of House Tabolt have reigned, and wielded powerful artifacts for ten generations by the means of sacrificing their female daughters and house members. While old traditions raised them as servants, and often times as slaves, more knowledge and a better understanding of the Labyrinth have brought the Tabolts to raise their daughters as Squires, and Knights.

House Artifacts were delicate in the beginning, and weren’t made for war, or power. With changing times, the quality and power of the artifacts became stronger and more adept to the Taeron way of life, granted by the strength of the women entering the Labyrinth.

For the good of the Kingdom, and by the blood of the House.

Dictated by this oath, and tradition, Arydnia’s fate was already devised before her birth. Born a twin with her brother Aeris, she was raised to believe that she had been graced with the honor to sacrifice herself in the name of her brother, and the Tobolt House. And as the 'Princess' it was her duty to serve the kingdom in the only way she had been told she could. While Aeris, and the rest of her brothers learned about politics, and were lead down the path of Kings and Nobles, Arydnia was raised in the ways of a Knight. Appointed as the personal squire of the King, she went under intensive training with her father until, Arryn Ramsay, Head of the Kings Guard, took her under his wing. Squiring beneath him, she was taught how to properly fight, spending her days training and preparing for the fated day of her eighteenth birthday.

Like the other women of the Tabolt name that had been fated with the same destiny, Arydnia had always been aware of her destiny. In her mind it was an inescapable fate, and a responsibility that would soon fall onto the other would-be females of the Tabolt name. Coming to accept this, she understood entering the Labyrinth would be a lose-lose scenario for her either way. If she made it through, creatures and beasts long before her time would meet her on the other side, and if she didn't, she would simply be fulfilling the duty she had been raised to prepare for all along.

Personality: Arydnia has always been a serious girl. Stoic, drawn, and independent, her father often praised her for her strength, stating that even as a child she hardly ever cried, or whined. Her life has revolved around nothing but the labyrinth, and training, rendering her almost completely socially inept. Blunt, aggressive, and seemingly unsympathetic, its hard for anyone to really get along with her, or for her to get along with anyone else. Past this tough exterior, and while rare, and never with out a rough edge to it, she has been known to show off a kinder side at times. However forming bonds, and making friends has never been at the top of her priorities.

While she holds no contempt for her Kingdom, or people, Arydnia has never felt that she was apart, or belonged to her House. Treated considerably different from her brothers, she has always been aware of how her parents really feel about her. She has seen the greed, and corruption that drives her father, fearing that her brother will only become the same. However in her position, she has no power to protest any of this this. With a life that's been paved for her from start to finish, she's come to accept whatever fate has in mind for it, be it escaping the Labyrinth, or even death.

Fast, and precise, Arydnia is without a doubt better then her brothers with a sword. Keeping up with Sir. Ramsay, and at times, even her father, she holds great confidence in her swordsmanship. Because of this she become rash, and even cocky in battle, which tends to be her greatest flaw. Despite this, Arydnia has an unbreakable tenacity and confidence, capable of taking a hard blow, she'll force herself to fight through pain and broken bones to stand her ground.
"Oh, the moonshine?" Ashart smiled. "I remember a certain someone almost going blind from drinking the first batch."

Walking in front of the other two as they started to make their way to the auditorium-dining-hall-sleeping-place, he kept one idea on the dust-mixing, sword-brandishing person, while resting his silver baseball bat on his right shoulder. Though he was more accustomed to staying at the back and covering for any ambushes or backstabs, in this case, he decided that it would be better to play the part of the vanguard. He shrugged at Eurwen's musings.

"I'd prefer a bit more of a spread, really. Wouldn't mind if we were all in different teams, if only because networking would be easier that way. Who knows, maybe some of these Vale kiddos are actually decent. I'd like to think that the bomber was the exception, not the norm."

Dodging a random slow student, Fir shrugged nonchalantly. She wasn't involved with the certain incident involving the moonshine, not directly, at least. She was glad she wasn't, the kids making it certainly weren't the best brewers of the bunch. In any case, Fir didn't object to a different team make-up, as long as the bar bomber wasn't in it.

"Put a Firelight member in every team and achieve schoolwide hegemony. Going for a culture victory, Ashart? I'd be fine with either scenario."

Scrunching her nose, the rabbit crossed her arms in protest, “Listen, we all came to an understanding years ago that you two were going to be in charge of limiting my drinking. So, technically, it wasn’t my fault I almost went blind!” Despite her words, she had quickly come to notice their conversation had drifted to another subject, so Eurwen could only pray that her words didn’t bring focus to her drinking habits .

Giving a shrug of her own to their musings, Eurwen wasn’t all to enthusiastic about the idea of working with another team. She had fought beside Ashart, and Fir many times. Knowing their styles like the back of her hand, as they did for her, she wasn’t really sure how well she’d be with a team of people she was completely unfamiliar with.

One can only pray that the bomber isn’ the ‘norm' here.." Thinking back to the airship ride with a sneer on her face, Eurwen could recall another student destroying one of the benches near a bay window. However there were a few others that had caught her eye. Like the other student that had been sitting next to the ‘dust-bomber’. Not only had he kicked another away from the blast, but within the limited amount of time he had tried to evade the blast.

Walking beside Fir, Eurwen eyed another student further ahead in full armor before shrugging once more, “Well, I can definitely tell there’s potential here.

Fir recalled the tin-suited man from earlier. She only glimpsed him for a moment, but she didn't get the best impression from that. "Him? Actually, I thought he looked a bit snobby, like a rich kid showing off his new toys on the first day of school. C'mon, don't you remember those people in Firelight?"

"Oh yeah," Ashart chipped in, "The Armored person totally reminds me of that one kid...what was his name again? Bru-something? Always went to everywhere in a powered suit because of security reasons or whatever, right? Heck, I remember when he stuck a hose into his armor in order to take a shower without exposing himself to the 'harmful outdoors'."

"Hopefully that person isn't quite as much of a maniac, though I do wonder about his suitcase..."

Fir snickered, her face stretching into a broad smile. "Oh, hell yes I remember, I was the one that replaced his bathwater with fruit punch."

As her friends joked, the Rabbit snorted playfully at Firs confession, "Geez', I remember the mental breakdown he went through that night. That's probably why he transferred out of Firelight, not even a week later.

Growing closer to the entrance with each step, goosebumps covered her arms as anticipation and excitement began to swell within her chest. Looming over them almost menacingly, the sheer size of the building forced the girl to crane her neck up as they came to the entrance stairs, “Incredible, not even Firelight is this big.

Hearing voices from the inside, Eurwen decided to skip ahead of her friends and hurry up the stairs. Pausing at the doors she turned to Ashart and Fir, pointing like a child as a wide grin stretched across her lips, “Look! That must be the Headmistress!” Sidestepping past a few to get a better look once they were inside, the same grin sat along her face as she listened closely to the older woman’s speech.

Her strong tone echoed throughout the building, giving her a sort of grace that Eurwen had never seen before, however her words didn’t impact the Faunus in the way that she had hoped. Expecting more then just words of encouragement, the woman’s speech seemed to end just as fast as it began. Looking around in disbelief as the crowd around them began to disperse, Eurwen felt her excitement fizzle with each person leaving the auditorium.

Well.. that was uplifting."

The Juneau girl agreed with Eurwen with an equally disappointed expression on her face.

"Eh? I don't like long speeches, but that was as anticlimactic as a blockbuster flop..."

Voicing her expression of deflated anticipation, she stood up from the auditorium seat.

"In any case, let's hurry and the beat the crowd! I want to get the best spot for the night."

Ashart made no comment about the speech, mainly because he was pretty sure that he'd heard it...every single time during every commencement speech at his time in Firelight. And thought the auditorium in Beacon WAS reasonably sized, he wasn't too impressed. The warehouses of Sakanade Textiles was larger than this, after all.

Not quite as enthusiastic as Fir when it came to getting a good spot, he said, "Does it even matter where we sleep? Looks all the same to me...unless you want to go sleep outside."

"It's a matter of life-and-death, Ash. You can have the space near the bathrooms."

"I'll be sure to save the washroom stall for your usage, Fir."

Fir pouted. "See, you get my point."

Gasping loudly, Eurwen bounced excitedly in her seat, "Oh-Oh! If we sleep outside, we can look at the stars, guys!"

"Sounds like a good idea. Rooftop auditorium camping then?"

Juneau shrugged at this suggestion. Nothing wrong with camping. "Sure, if it's not next to the chimney. I've had enough soot for a day."

Jumping up from her seat, the Faunus threw her arms up in victory as she started to skip off towards the main entrance, "Whoo! Rooftop auditorium camping!"

"A chimney for the auditorium? Guess we'll see if they even have a heating system in here."

"I would really hope there is one. I hear winters are a bitch here."

Not thinking to look back to see if Ashart or Fir were still behind her, Eurwen made her way back out to the courtyard. Searching along the side of the building for stairs, or even a ladder, her hopping quickly came to a halt as she found herself in an unfamiliar part of the Academy. "Aw, I don't know if we're gonna be able to find a wa-"

Spinning around in search of her friends, Eurwen began to fall into a panic, "Guys? H-Hey, where did you go?"

Fir opened her mouth in mild surprise as Eurwen zipped away, apparently to secure a rooftop camping spot. She certainly didn't think they were being serious. But she had no time question this, she had to secure a space that was not in the lavatories.

"Aish... If you have no intention of finding a space, I'll see you in the morning then, Ashart. Good luck~!"

And with that, the Juneau girl was off too.
Made a few edits to Eurwens character sheet. Just some slight changes, and added details to her semblance, and weaknesses.
From worry to relief, Eurwen sighed and leaned back in her seat as her friends reassured her. “Nothing particular happened. Just on a whim, and cause my mom wanted me to check out how my older sister was doing. And hey, despite how unique most of the students are here, it’ll be a nice cultural experience.” Snorting lightly, she smirked at the chimp faunus as she watched him stand, "I think that's the most sarcastic thing I've ever heard you say." Their lives were far different from hers, responsibilities, and expectations far greater then her own were thrusted upon them, so she had to assume that they went through tough times.

The culture clash is real, though.” Agreeing with Fir, the rabbit briskly nodded as she followed her gaze to the destroyed bar. Watching Ashart and Fir head towards the exit, a soft smile crept along her features. She had to remind herself just how strong these two were every now and then. They weren't kids anymore, and since meeting them in Firelight and now on the airship to Beacon, they looked just as strong and confident, if not more so. So Eurwen knew there was no need to worry.

Guess we should be heading out now. Maybe they have an illegal gin-and-tonic bootlegger in one of Beacon’s alleyways?” Wide eyed with excitement, the rabbit hurried from her seat and bounded over to her friends, “Hey, if they don’t have any, I’m sure it’s not beyond us to make our own.

"You really think so!? If they don't have any, we could try to make moonshine, again! Remember how good it was last time?"

Meeting up with her friends as they headed out of the airship, she made a place between the two and grabbed their hands. Giving a light squeeze, she eyed the ground bashfully, "To be honest, I'm really glad both of you are here.~" Tanned cheeks burned red as she continued, "Today started off so bad, but now that we're all here, it's already starting to feel like old times!" Skipping happily and pulling them along, Eurwen continued with a bright grin, and a confident look in her eye now, "Who knows! Maybe we'll even end up on a team!"
Some delays from my side caused the collab to take a bit long then expected, but Arch and I are actively working on it.
We should have it up either tonight, or tomorrow.
Any chance of us landing anytime soon, Gem?
As the smoke began to clear, the ringing in Eurwens ears was unfortunately still blaring. Slightly disorientated, she tugged at the bottom of her ears in pain while a quiet whimper rumbled from her chest. "Thanks for.. you didn’t have your earmuffs.. that explosion?” Half tempted to ask him to repeat his words, Eurwen simply shook her head 'no' all while trying to shake out that godforsaken noise. Looking over at the damage, the rabbits gaze fell onto to the back where all the liquor had been meticulously placed on shelves, but to her horror, just like the rights side of the bar, it had been blown to bits.

A mixture of agony, rage, and loss swarmed within the rabbit once she caught sight of her drinks crushed lemon slice on the floor. Brown eyes growing wide and teary, the edges of her lips curved into a large frown as she slumped against the bar, "My drink..." Looking forward to tasting her favorite drink, Eurwens eyes locked onto the Wolf Faunus just as he hurried out to the patio. "He'll pay for this." She hissed out threateningly, the black aura swarming around her once again, seething menacingly around like a negative void.

Aish… Thanks. Aren’t you supposed to be noticing these sorts of things, Ashart?

With the ringing dying down, the sudden voice caught her by surprise, forcing her out of the vengeful mood and away from any thoughts of the fallen liquor. Spinning around on the barstool, Eurwen gasped loudly in excitement, "Fir!" The same wide smile slipped along her features as she caught sight of another one of her classmates. So many familiar faces surrounded her now, and even with the sudden chaos it seemed like all the anxiety she had been struggling with earlier was now a thing of the past. “Well, that was a rather explosive reunion! How have you two been?" Grimacing at the question, Eurwen shrugged as she thought back to the past five minutes, "I've been good, but right about now I'm feeling a little.. unprepared."

Sitting amongst her friends, a look of concern came over the Faunus as she looked to Ashart, and then Fir, "So, why aren't you guys going Torchwood?" As the children of two of Vacuos most reputable companies, the Faunus had assumed the two of them would be attending the Academy together. It had been a surprise to say the least, but it only made Eurwen worry more. Leaning in close she spoke in a hushed tone, only loud enough for the other two to hear, "Did something happen?" Staring wide eyed at both of them she waited for answer, afraid that something family wise, or personal had caused them to be declined from Torchwood.
@Charak: You could always wait. There's still two others who haven't posted up their intro, along with a few who haven't made there second.
Perhaps a towel as well, and a gin-and-tonic for my associate there?” Eurwen was stunned. She had just spilled her water on this guy, and he was buying her a drink? Unsure of what was even going on, and frozen to the spot she struggled to find the right words, however the long haired Hunter was able to beat her to the punch once again, “Fancy meeting you here, Eurwen. As far as first impressions go, at least it’d give me something to smile about later. Why’re you going to Beacon, and not Torchwood?” Eyes narrowing in uncertainty, the rabbit faunus leaned in close, leaving inches between them as she stared hard into his eyes. However after a few seconds, her suspicious look melted into one of pure delight and with a wide smile, Eurwen began to hop in place happily as she finally realized who the boy before her was, "Ash!"

Having gone to Firelight with him, she didn't quite recognize him in normal attire, or rather, formal attire, "I feel like it's been so long--I didn't even recognize you without the bunny suit." Realizing she was still hopping, a red tint covered her cheeks before she briskly sat down and handed him the other rag she had snagged from behind the bar, "Sorry about the water, again." Hands folded along her lap now, Eurwen twisted to and fro on the bar stool as she finally answered his question, "After Firelight I had thought about going to Torchwood, but.. it was just a bit out my budget." Like Firelight, Torchwood was another prestigious school in Vacuo. Those who could pay were easily accepted, but coming from a middle-class family along with being a Faunus would have made her application difficult.

Looking over at the bartender as he worked on their drinks, a giddy smile was clear on the rabbits face. Days of raiding of her parents alcohol pantry came to mind, along with all the times she had bribed Ashart into using his fake ID to buy her a drink. While she wasn't of age, Alcohol was her biggest weakness, and her favorite pastime. "You know me so well.~" Returning her attention back to the dark haired male, the chatterbox continued, seemingly unfazed by the suspicious look the bartender threw back at her, "Anyway, both of my parents went here, so it only felt right that I apply. And--I mean.. Beacon just seemed like it was the place for me, ya’ know?

It was at those words that a figure on the opposite corner caught her eye. Bright brown hues widened in horror, as her jaw dropped once again. He was playing with dust like sand! Without a second though Eurwens hand shot out, grabbing Ash by the shoulder and activating her semblance split second before the reaction. With a deafening boom and and a heavy plume of smoke and debris the dust exploded, throwing the boy from the bar and sending the rest of the students into a frenzy. Standing amongst the smoke, a heavy black aura surrounded both Eurwen and Ashart as the smoke casually drifted through them, but while physically uneffected the shrill noise of the boom had deafened her sensitive ears, causing a painful headache to throb through her temples. With her free hand sitting along her right ear tenderly, she dropped her grip on Asharts shoulder once her semblance deactivated, “You alright?
