Woot! Welcome to this shit.I was gonna treat this like a MySpace page, but I don't think I really even know what MySpace was. That poor thing. Anyhow!

I myself have been a large World of Warcraft fan most of my life, so my knowledge of the lore and universe is quite extensive. It would also be one of my largest passions for role-playing. So anyone who would like that sint hesitate to hit me up.

Beyond that, I enjoy Sci fi, dystioian/eutopian, general high fantasy, some dark gritty fantasy. Quite the loser as you can tell lol.

If I had to bring my experience into question, I'd say I'm quite adept at the English language with at least a basic understanding of its functionality and such. Although I can be superfluous and verbose where it doesn't call. Who doesn't like to sound smart though right?

Then I'd say I'm quite an experienced Rper with a fascination with creating and developing characters. I am very proud of characters I created as I feel they're rather balanced and realistic depictions of a person.

Not too big a fan of Mary sues or all powerful characters. Not to say I only create weak losers who can't accomplish anything. Just that my characters have very obvious flaws and hindrances that make them vulnerable. I enjoy developing and growing a character over time as they envelope and become more or even less than what I may have originally imagined.

Tgats the beauty of role-playing. It doesn't always happen as you would necessarily want it to. Anything is possible. That is what I love about this hobby.

Now that all that's out of the way, let's get into stuff about me. I'm 19,avid reader in case you couldn't tell. Very well spoken in my opinion. Lover of discussion and intelligent debate. Hell, Im just an all around chill person to be around in my opinion.

Well at the moment that does it. Can't think of anymore dukey to put in here XD but yeah. Message me let's rp. Let's be friends. Hell let's go egg houses if you really want to. Enjoy!
Excuse the garbage autocorrect. This all comes from my phone xD

The thrums of panic and death continued to pound in Michal's ears. While quite dulled as he had put quite a deal of space between himself and the square where the explosion had occurred, it still resonated with the sound of far off fear. A man who normally found it quite easy to remain composed was almost visibly shaking. Images of the people enveloped by that must played just behind his eyes. As he had now a moment to recall with some focus, he saw yellow pus dripping from growing and twisting tendrils. Large blisters seemed to ooze the stuff. What on earth could cause something like that. He didn't want to imagine. Michal was not a man to belive in the paranormal or extraterrestrial. Such things were simply a child's fairy tale. Yet, he could imagine nothing human that could have done this.

The cigarette shook in one unsteady hand, while the other gripped the catwalk railing until they were white. He was then torn from thought by a voice. It had come from below on the dumpster. The immediate reaction was to push himself a little further back against the railing, but with a little self control he managed to stay out and answer back in a confident voice.

"Ah can't say ah know. I wa'nt a huge fan ah what ah saw."Another long drag on the cigarette. Ash fell on his stomach. A breeze came through the alley, bringing g with it some leaves, garbage and the stench of death. Michal lenses his head back and sighed, wondering what was going to happen now. Was this the apocalypse? A localized terrorist threat? How could this happen in one of the most popular events in the country. Except for the man below him, he hadn't seen anyome else since finding the resting spot. Finally, his thoughts were calming to a reasonable level. Now some critical thinking could be done, with a shaky start, Michal stood and went to the railing to look down.

"So ah assume you're not whatever become ah those poor foks? Yah seem rather not crazy. What do yah know about all ah this?"He inquired.

Michal has been dragging deeply from a cigarette as he looked up on stage at the reporters droning on about the celebration. He himself had little interest in the festivities that didn't include drinking and bare breasted women hooting and hollering. The crows erupted as various knick knacks were tossed to them and proceeded to grab at it all like hungry animals. Moving a hand away from his face, he flicked his middle finger, disturbing the collected ash at the end of the cigarette. He would bring it bag to his lips and drag once more before hacking and toss the butt at his feet. A yawn rose up from his throat and he stretched, starting to saunter towards one of the many open store fronts when an explosion came from beyond him.

It quieted the rowdy crowd for a split second before utter chaos was unleashed. The large crowd shoved and pushed as people shouted and ran from a vomit colored crows hanging eerily over the edge of the crowd. Almost being shoved to the ground and trampled, Michal began to rub with the massive blob of people towards some alleyways. Luckily, being on the edge of this side gave him actual entrance to it and he managed to clambor up and over the chain link before the narrow alley became congested with shoving and paniced denizens. Michal had gone into full flight mode, with so much adrenaline pumping he didn't need to know what he was running from, only that he needed to run.

A few blocks down he broke from the dozen other people running him and dodged into a side alley behind some dumpsters. There were catwalks and fire escapes above him, entrances to apartments it seemed. Down at the end of this narrow hall, he saw people running and shouting as well. For the moment he decided to heave himself atop a dumpster and left for the fire escape. Grabbing the bottom rung with both hands, he nearly fell as one hand grabbed at something slick on the ladder. However, he managed to get a secure grip and pull himself up each step until he was safely on the catwalk.

Reflecting on the events with a more level head now, he tries to recall details. A green mist, some...people seemed to be writhing about within it with something strange about them. He saw little and only knee that something had not seemed normal about them. With that thought, he leaned back and lit a cigarette with shaking hands. Thus was going to be an interesting night he figured, dragging deeply.
*proceeds to pee a bit on the floor* "I... I'm sorry...i just got so excited..." *sad puppy dog eyes*
Picture: Michal stands at 6'0" with a stocky chest and a bit of a beer belly. While not overly muscled, he is not entirely out of shape. Dark black hair fall down beyond his ears in greasy curls. Almond shaped eyes hide vibrant blue orbs reflecting the light. He wears a long gash from the middle of his forehead all the way down to the tip of his nose.

Name: Michal Lukasz Gawren

Age: 31

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 210 lbs.

Occupation: Architectural Engineer

Personality: Michal is what one might call a typical Polock. Staunch, resolute, and firm in his convictions. Some would claim to spot a bit of Hatred and dis in his eyes, but that is not true. Michal is just a man who is seldom impressed. While initially code, once warmed up, you find him quote easy to mingle and associate with as he enjoys company and intelligent discussions.

Skills: Trained in hand to hand combat to a basic degree. Well versed in architecture and the design of most buildings; able to identify weak points in structural integrity.

Flaws: Fearful of large animals such as bears and moose. Quite a bit of a sexist, believing that women should stick to the traditional mold. Michal is overly confident in his own ability, so much so that it leads him to fault more often than not. Not in the best physical condition of his life. Enjoys the idea of drinking a little too much and becomes very violent when drunk.

Bio: Michal grew up in a rather normal family with a heavy Polish influence. He had been born in the country, although his father had not. Around the age of twenty three, his father Lukasz had decided to try his hand at the opportunity of America, where in North Carolina he met Michals's mother. Michal took a large amount of influence from his father in his career choice, with his father being a designer of large corporate skyscrapers. His teen years led to little of any interest outside of the occasional encounter with a girl here and there.

After finishing high school with a below average GPA, he would make his way into the basic workforce until he had the money to put towards a better education. After two years of working out the aid and the remaining due, he began his first year at the community college, majoring in architectural engineering and minoring in accounting. With two years of pre requisites under his collar, he transferred to the North Carolina state University. After a rather long and arduous five more years, he had struggled and graduated with a masters in his field.

The next year had been rough, as little to no consistent work seemed to work it's way to Michal. The best he was ever able to scrounge up were favors called in on his father's reputation, but few people wanted a permanent hire that was fresh out of college. Michal remembers more than one occasion when he went without food for a few days in exchange for heat in the night. This went on until his little projects had made their way to the hands of larger industry and design companies.

Michal was working for a small company that designed various utility buildings in New York when he was sent down to Louisiana for a conference with clients. During his stay he decided to relax and make his way to the Mardi Gras festival.

In hi. 8 yrs ago Forum: Introduce Yourself
um hi ya im relativity new to roleplaying but enjoy it - anyone have tips where to start on this site?

Et tu Brute?

Sorry sorry. Couldn't help but make the reference ^~^

Hello and welcome one friend. I would recommend going through the various interest to checks and inquiring into one that sparks your interest. The guild has then rather well organized in categories if varying degrees of roleplay. If you're new and not as well versed In rping I'd recommend the free roleplay section as it's not multi paragraph responding and things are lore lax.

Casual would be described as as probably a minimum of one paragraph with some more in depth themes and characters, requiring you to be rather descriptive WI h responses. If you've roleplayed before I'd recommend this.

Advanced is quite simply as it is named, for advanced roleplayers. Here you're going to have a lot of detail and thought put into creating a character. Expect a minimum of two or three paragraphs for response and attention to detail. Of course Grammer and such will be more strict here. Id only recommend this if you're experienced. You also need to be able to except suggestions and "criticisms" from the leader of the rp or other people rping about your character.

Now if someone feels I've misjudged or described these sections poorly please do correct me, thays just my interpretation. ^~^
So yeah. This sounds fucking dope. Tbh the whole scenario is eerily Realistic and scares me a bit haha. But this is cool count me in!
I love the idea of the history and archeological group being almost one and the same. It makes sense. Also Crazy I'd be inclined to agree that I think the gods should be more of a passive role.

EDIT: Perhaps an adjacent city of major commerce and Trade by the name of Kalanom. This is the DE facto trade capital of the area and the most well known of any place in our little section of the world. How's that sound?
1. I personally like the idea of multiple gods, but with really only one pantheon. Like you can have seven or eight gods belong to one religion and one or two each belong to their own. Something like that

2. I like small and working our way up. Allows us to grasp everything thays happening easier while we are not dealing with tons of information that won't be relevant for a while.

3. Again, I like the less is more idea. It's so much easier to just use information and ideas relevant to the current story we don't need to have a ton of development for something that won't come into the rp for a long time.

4. I can't honestly think of anything at the moment. I personally would like to see an organization of Engineers and a group dedicated to the ancient histories of the world though.

5. Perhaps we've got some strange natural phenomenon that no one can explain. Like global warming, but crazier and less understood. Maybe lately there's been a large exodus of the local wildlife from their natural habitats, and we discover and flora their dies and seems to grow again as some twisted version of itself. Something like that. I'd also be OK with the war idea.

6. Id like to have In a sense guilds that each have their own prerogative independent of the rest of the world.

7. I would most definitely want to play a rogue or a wizard. Most likely one that is a scholar or an engineer as well. I like to play characters of lower middle class/middle lower class origin. Nothing particularly spectacular about them, having only one significant strength. Generally they average and balanced characters. I love leaving lots of room for good or bad development of the character.

I really love the Dragon idea and the mixing of dragons Demons and Demon dragons.
Well I'm on board with these ideas ^~^
