Name: Richard Drakunovski
Aliases: Richard Dragon
Age: 30
Height: 6 ft
Personality: Cold and calculating, but outspoken and honest. But has a dislike of all things Wayne related.
Powers: None

Abilities
Peak human: Due to the intensity of his regime it has not only kept him young looking, but also in top physical shape better than most Olympic athletes.

Meditation: Through the use of bio-feedback he is able to enhance his healing, pain control and regulate his heartbeat and breathing. It also allows him to ignore the normal

Skills
Master Martial Artist. He has mastered Shaolin kung-fu, but not the way it is taught in normal monasteries, rather he found a surviving master that claimed to have original knowledge before the temple was raised by Chinese army. He has been practicing it for over two decades and still going strong. This also means he is as adept in armed as unarmed combat.

Languages: He is fluent in Chinese, and the various dialects from spending so much time there, and rather shaky in Japanese.

Tactical Awareness: Years of training means he tends to survey and be acutely aware of danger before it happens, whether it is physical or mental.

Business Acumen: As a result of running his father's company, he is keenly aware of how finances work, and he was instrumental in selling it before a hostile takeover could be implemented by Wayne industries.

Equipment
He can dual wield two dadao, and usually wears a dark black close fitting black trousers and top, eshewing all armour.

History
His father was a keen businessman and travelled constantly to China, taking his young son with him. These trips were under the guise of training a young Richard in tactics and awareness in the boardroom. This later led to being taken to an old derelict temple where an old monk lived who was rumoured to be over two hundred years old, although he still looked in his early forties. There he trained for ten years learning everything the old hermit could teach.

While the hermit's tutelage was not just martial arts, he also received regular schooling too, so as not to fall behind in other areas. Since returning to Coast city in his mid-twenties marvelled at how out of control the criminal element was and vowed to do something about it, at least until his father died in a plane crash. It was at this point he took on his father's company as CEO, for about three years before selling it. Although he is not out of pocket, his resources are dwindling while he wonders what to do with his life. It was not until he saw the news broadcast about the Devil of Hell's kitchen, seen wearing only black that he thought of following suit.

I shall wait to see how other people compile their characters and OCs before I throw anything out there.

Okay got a quick CS up, see below.
I may change a few bits in the morning (it is 11.45pm in the UK), but it'll give a rough idea of what I am after.
The character sheet is done now.
Premise
This will be an RP where both the tv series for DC and Marvel are merged together and players get to take on the characters, or invent their own. Has to be television power levels though.

No film stuff.

Interest Check: roleplayerguild.com/topics/126845-marv..

DC
Arrow
The Flash
Legends of Tomorrow
Constantine but this is iffy as not sure I want the entire metaphysical baggage that goes with it as it gives precedence to DC's cosmology over Marvel's, which is not a good place to start. I know he made a cameo in Arrow season 4 so if someone wanted to play him, and could get the character right, then we could certainly chat about it.

Marvel
Agents of Shield
Agent Carter
Daredevil
Jessica Jones
Luke Cate, Iron Fist etc are all incoming at some future date.

Ideas
Due to Barry's tempering all of Arrowverse starts again, from the beginning. So you, the player, get to re-imagine any character of your choosing. Is Oliver Queen the same, or different. What about Barry? Or any other hero. Same could be said for Marvel. I have left it open for you to choose how to envision your character.

GM Thoughts
I did think about having some external higher power forcibly merge both together, but thought it would cheapen the lives of the characters, and their struggles. But to make one person ultimately responsible, their reasons for their actions being partly selfish. It would give players a goal, not to eliminate, but to restore not just one reality to how they should be, but all of them by forcing that individual to be a HERO, and sacrifice their well being, and their happiness for the sake of all creation. After that, isn't that makes a hero?

Start Point
I did toil over this extensively to be honest, carry on from where DC and Marvel left off, or give you all the choice to start again. So here we are. For instance you could start with Skye (Daisy) already being a metahuman, or is she an agent.

Timeline
18.03.00: Flash stop Eobard Thawne from murdering his mother.
10.06.12: Oliver returns home from Lian Yu
15.09.12: Collapse of SHIELD & Hydra
23.10.12: Particle Accelerator explosion causes creates metas across Central City.
03.02.13: Modern day, and we start here.

This died and now I'm sad

Work been a bit manic - but this is sooo not dead.
Do people want me to write up some other choices or just go ahead get the OOC up?
will get my character up at the weekend.
Edit- I don't think I have ever felt like a bigger dork before just now lol It isn't my intention to take the fun out of it for anyone, so I am hugely sorry if I am >.<

No more than the rest of us. lol
That is certainly interesting, @RogerD. But I'm not sure I view it in the same way. The living force is just an aspect of the force, but everyone is connected to it. It is why Leia sensed when Han died. There are some more sensitive to it, and in some texts, Qui-Gon was considered to be a student of it, he was also constantly reminding Obi-Wan of it and to be mindful of it. But it gives no one special abilities or powers. It's not necessarily a path one can take. Your character may be more knowledgeable about it than mine or may be more sensitive to it, but that's what I see.

You might be right, dunno. All these different aspects of the force always reminded me of Practchets descriptions of gods wearing hats and silly disguises. lol

In terms of fighting styles, they weren't all aggressive. I believe originally, they were based off of kenjutsu? I could be wrong, but at this point, the actual fighting styles are a blend of several types of martial arts, including that of Tai Chi. There are certain moves, certain styles where you'll see a lot of tai chi. Everything is supposed to be fluid. It's all going to depend on your personal preference.

I just wanted a different kind of Jedi, instead of the usual. You know what I mean?

Anyone wants to know more light saber combat - see below link.

I myself favor Shien and Djem So... I may dip a little into Vaapad. But ultimately, I am the way of the Krayt Dragon *huge silly face stamped here*

Would Vaapd even be avaialble as it was a creation of Winud's?

When we're talking about the cosmic force, the life after death example: it wouldn't make sense for a padawan or a knight to be in tune with that kind of power. If you made a Master, perhaps. Perhaps they're somewhat close to being able to access such a thing as that could make sense with their abilities. As always, it's about steering clear of the OP-line.

As for the question about the Living Force, again it's about the OP-line. I will allow those certain capabilities. Though, keep in mind, in this era any type of Jedi that preaches a balance of dark and light probably won't be viewed so favorably. It's not too long after the Exar Kun War, after all.

For those not aware.

I agree about the OP stuff, but it was more akin to knowing where the land lay with regard to the lesser known bits of the force etc. For instance I was going to have a Jedi connected to the Living Force, so instead of hurling stuff about would be highly sensitive to their surroundings. As a result the combative art practiced would more akin to a softer kung fu style, ex. tai chi than the more furious forms others would use.
