I would love for that sort situation as it adds so many more layers of depth.

Indeed, though it also adds layers of complexity to the "believability" factor.
"A Turn Of Light" by Julie Czerneda...
Heh... double post, sorry.
With a binary star, the most important thing related to any planet in such a system would be: Is this a "close" binary or a "distant" binary system. To throw in a further wrinkle, how about a binary planet? Around a binary star? Each planet with its own species/culture/tech-level. Perhaps very similar, perhaps very different, depending on how these binary worlds interact with each other and with their binary suns.
Hmmm...

Then it sounds like "doubling" would be a way to play a 1x1 with my own "couple" while also allowing both of us to "play two couples" in a dual romance interaction. In other words, it's a flexible term, by the sound. Dependent on what the two players want to do. Works for me.

Though I do find the subject still of interest, perhaps this thread a help to others who may have the same question.

I had to go with a relative who had to get an MRI.

Wow... I used to make those things. Again, small world.

Good, just got back from a hospital trip, which then turned into a cafe trip, and then a KFC trip.

Small world, same here. My best friend thought he was having a heart attack... turned out he had GURDS. Just got him and his wife home a short time ago.
And I'll be heading off to work shortly... unfortunately, the only internet I have right now is on a public library computer. So I've been out of the RP loop for quite some time, with no idea when I'll regain a "connection" of my own again. Otherwise, I'd be up for a story... :cries:
Well, the three I mentioned are from the 1960's... just like me. And haven't been around on TV for decades. Though I have found a site where I could buy the entire "Kimba" series, IN THE ORIGINAL 1960's DUB, RESTORED, all on DVD. Which would be one way to recreate my "distant" childhood.
When I was a kid, every Sunday starting at 3pm it was "Kimba the White Lion", "Speed Racer" and "Battle of the Planets"...
