I suppose I'll start with the basics. I'm a female, age 22, married, mother, from and currently living in the US.

Started rping about 8 years ago but haven't been doing much writing in the past 3 years.

Ridiculously unpredictable schedule, nonexistent motivation, professional procrastinator, tired mom.

Laura giggled and nudged Barrett. "Hey, a big tough guy like you should be able to handle it." She teased him. She began to wonder if she would be able to spend time with him in the future, she was very fond of him.

"It's not that it shouldn't be used, just many resort to it as an easy option." She remarked. Suddenly she realized how much of her guard was down. Silently she cursed herself.

"I'm from Earth, but I've moved all around the place. Where ever work takes me, ya know?" he sighed. Casually he leaned back in his seat and took a drink. "My work isn't always pleasant but I have to take care of those I love." He added.
Stepping back she paused for just a moment, then put away her knife. She walked over to a bucket of water and picked it up, then slung the contents on Henry. The cold dirty water causing him to wake up. He looked around, fear and anger in his eyes. He tried to speak but his words were muffled by the gag. "It's me, Rin. Remember, your least favorite. You really should remember me since you spent all those hours beating me bloody." She said stepping in front of him. "But that I could have moved past. What I can't move past is you doing the same shit to my mother and sister. What kind of low life needs to beat women just to feel good about himself, huh?" She said more loudly and harshly.
Laura stepped back and laughed at the two. They seemed like brothers to her. This Barrett guy was really starting to grow on her. "I'd rescue you but it's just to funny!" She teased.

Charlie shook her head. "I never liked how people assume poison is a woman's weapon. It's insulting honestly. Like a woman couldn't kill any other way." She complained lightly.

"So where are you from?" He asked. He tried his best to ignore the noisy group.
Roy sat back and observed the woman, she was unique to him. "It's nice to meet you, I truly hope you enjoy the drink." He says, his southern ancient coming through more than before. After trying to mimic her greeting he held his hand out to her for her to shake it.

Charlie finished chewing then replied. "Almost all are. Yet if you do it right you can become immune to most poisons, or so I've heard." She said then sipped her wine.
Charlie minded proper table educate as she ate. "I hope steak is alright. It's always been one of my favorites." She said politely. Her more calm and sophisticated side was showing through, it seemed odd to her. As most in the tavern were probably already aware she tended to be quite casual and blunt.

Roy nodded and went to the bar. He ordered two lattes with baylee's irish cream in them. Then he returned to the fireplace. "I hope you like it." He said handing it to her then taking a seat. "I'm Roy by the way." He introduced.
Roy chuckled. "I guess you caught me weakness." He half joked. "What can I get you?" He asked her.

Laura looked over at Scout and Keena, worried about what had happened.

Charlie held her glass out and giggled. "The smell of dead bodies no longer bother me." she remarked. After her glass was filled she sat it down and cut into her medium rare steak.
...what if we are under attack? forced into a situation where we must test our new team work skills?

I'm saving that kind of drama for later. Just gotta be patient through this slow stuff.
"I've been planning this awhile but not preparing that long." She said with a huff. She looked over the man hanging there. No going back now she pondered to herself. Not that I would want to She thought. Reaching to the other side of her belt she pulled out her combat knife. She began cutting off his clothes, all except the underwear.
Roy glanced down at the floor awkwardly then back up at Ethelsen. "Because pretty women deserve to have drinks bought for them." He said, his voice low and his eyes sincere. With a stray hand he awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

Charlie watched him carefully. "Oh I just wanted us to be able to enjoy each other's company. One of the best ways to do so is over a meal." She remarked.
Rushing over Rin swung the door open and shined her flash light in the building. "Over here." She said stepping inside. She walked over to where a lower beam was with a chain and a hook around it. "We can put the hook through the rope around his hands." She suggested.
