The guards have led the prisoners towards Emerald City. When they arrive there, the guards uncuff the prisoners. Emerald City consists of a common room with TVs, chairs, tables and a pool table in the middle. The common room is surrounded by glass cells with a toilet, a sink and one bunk bed each. In the middle of the common room sits Geoff Glynn, the unit manager of Emerald City. The guards are spread around the corners of the common room, 4 guards in total. As the inmates start flooding in, Geoff Glynn starts speaking.
"I welcome you all to Emerald City. This is an experimental unit inside of the prison, where you will get more freedom than anywhere else in the prison. The daily regime goes as follows: We wake up at 6 AM. You have an hour to prepare yourself." Glynn gestures towards the room on the south end of Emerald City. "You can wash yourself there. At 8 AM the breakfast is ready and you can proceed to move to the canteen. At 9 AM you are free to go where ever you want inside the prison. It is advised to get a job somewhere you like, otherwise we will assign you to a job. Examples: you can work in the library, the post office or in the canteen. There is lunch at 1 PM and dinner at 6 PM."
Geoff Glynn takes out a list and starts reading it. "The cell assignments are as follows: Camden and ó Flannagáin to cell E01, Alvarez and King to cell E02, Kemper and Belov to cell E03, Guerra and Guerra to cell E04 and Bélanger to E05." Glynn puts the list under his arm and smiles towards the listening inmates. "Your own clothes are already laid down on your bed. Take care of yourself." With those last words, Glynn climbs the stairs towards his office.
