Well, if he ever meets Nadya, it's going to be interesting. Lots of Russian.

And not to be that guy, but if you want to be totally culturally accurate, his middle name would be Patronymic, which is hard to construct if you don't often use it. If you want, though it's a roleplay so literally nobody cares, I can give it to you if you tell me his father's name. Otherwise Heritage Russians don't have middle names. ^^ Not trying to be haughty, it's just one of those things where I'm like "OH! Yes!! I finally know a thing!"

I was going to use Vladimirovich but when I was making the name I thought of my one of my favorite characters from a Movie called The Hunt For Red October, then I thought of his death and it made me sad so I made the middle name his first name in honor of his sacrifice to the new world. As he is not Sergei's father it was not appropriate to give him the proper middle name ^^ you are quite right though :)
Double message
@Queen Raidne Of course of course I understand completely ^^, when I first made the ship I left a lot of things out because I enjoy adding things in through role playing instead of laying it all out on the table. I was trying to be Mr Secret with my flaws so that they could be discovered in the roleplay itself haha. There are actually quite a few flaws, crippling even if one were to find them out. I will start toning down the ship thats no biggie I sort of thought it might be a bit big for the roleplay in terms of power and such I figured id test the waters see if it was acceptable.

But while im typing I will fill in some of the cracks I would have roleplayed so you can get more of a feel for what I am going for ^^

maximum crew of 70000: Just to keep ships on an approximately even level, I recommend cutting this by a factor of ten, although I understand you don't have the full 70,000 on board.

I am bad at math could you put that in dumby terms for me? lol

[ship capabilities]: It's got great defense, normal weapons and a special weapon, it's fast, and it's got full crew facilities. What's its downside?

Very much like the cloaking device the Special Weapon can not function unless it is given full power, a weapon like this draws massive amounts of energy and it takes time to charge, which means the shields have to go down, the normal weapons have to go down to draw the necessary fire power for it. The normal weapons are not exactly high grade powerful, especially when the shield is up, if the shield is disabled they draw more energy making them more lethal but leave the ship unshielded. There are a good amount of normal weapons but against a strong shield it would be a challenge to break through with them alone. This particular ships biggest flaw is that it is specifically made to combat Killian Ships, these two races have never faced another adversary other then each other, so their ships compliment the others weakness and exploit them. Against an opponent whom they have never faced would be a severe disadvantage. An well the crew never really gets to use the facilities, as you can imagine a war that has lasted 5000 years requires constant active duty, which leaves sleeping eating and returning to work.

"said to be unbeatable by any": I get the difference between reputation and actual fact, but I wonder how that will stack up in an RP setting. Obviously the Dilonian isn't unbeatable, but does her crew know that? Have they become cocky? And don't be afraid to let your crew lose, even if they've had to only take a tactical retreat before returning fully-repaired and ready to rip the Killians a new one. Flavor and variety is the spice of life, or at least RP characters.

What I mean by unbeatable is that the ship has never been completely destroyed, I sort of got into the head of the two races I made a little too much and didn't clarify my meaning to which I apologize. To the Dilonians and Killians returning to port with a ship that isn't destroyed is considered a win, in that logic they are unbeatable because they have never been completely destroyed, in warring culture as the one I made ships are blown apart every single day and crews and lives are lost, to live this long within the bounds of my cultures specifications is adhered as unbeatable. Again I never specified that like a dumb dumb haha.

Characters - They all seem perfect at their jobs. Again, that makes some sense; it's the flagship, so they'd want the best of the best. But, the thing that makes the best the best is their talents despite their flaws; certainly, flaws are a major part of what makes a character interesting to interact with in an RP. I guess I'm just not getting a great sense of personality, but then again, personality is often one of those things that comes through far more readily within the RP itself.

Within the boundaries of their universe they are perfect, but then again they have never been outside their universe and have no real knowledge of other cultures, ships, strategies and so forth. They have fought the same war for most of their lives against the same opponent they are quite efficient at their jobs to the point where they can predict what the Killians will do which is possible because not many things change in a long war, but out in real space against opponents they have never meant they would be tested for the first time, their flaws would have developed within the roleplay itself.

Most of my bio is based in a universe that not even for a moment have they ever left, a universe where they have fought year after year against the same opponent time and time again. The ships crew, the ship itself, the ships defensive and offensive capabilities are all based in a universe where it works perfectly for them because after so long they have perfected their technology but against the Killians not other sentients.

Anyways I am fond of writing lots of words but I don't want to bore you, I hope this filled in some of the cracks for you, i will respec the ship and make it smaller and once you put that math term in dumb dumb terms for me I will cut it down ^^ also I believe you asked me some questions about Ghost Hunting, one of my all time favorite subjects no less :D

```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
"Ghost Hunter". ...what! That sounds wicked fun! How did - I have so many questions - how did you start!? Are you terrified of ghosts? Where do you usually operate? Also, hello! Welcome to the forums!
I got my real start when I was around ten years old, small things camera here, recorder there nothing big but what got me into it was an experience I had when I was five, I saw a full body apparition in the house I lived in and well it stuck with me for a long time until I began to try to make sense of it which lead me into the road to becoming a Ghost Hunter. Am I terrified of ghosts? No Im not now and days I can walk into a haunted location alone solo without even batting and eye and walk around in the dark hearing weird noises and not even flinch. Was I always like that? Heck no I used to be mega afraid when I first started but having done it for so long now I am rock solid when it comes to ghost investigations. I operate out of my home town at the moment im poor so were not well funded but we go do investigations all the time which has left me thousands of stories to tell. Feel free to ask anytime Paranormal Activity is a passion for me and id be happy to tell you whatever you want to know
AND THANK YOU! I am glad to be here and also to meet someone so nice right off the back!
Name:
Sergei Vasili Kravchenko
Nickname:
Reznov
Age:
50
Gender:
Male
Nationality:
Russian
In-Depth Personality: Sergei is a rather solid individual, rather angry in his youth he has evened out in his age and has the benefit of the wisdom which comes with those years. With an unyielding loyalty to the things in which he believes in Sergei stands by a basis of morals which he never breaks. Never one to be stiff Sergei is a rather enjoyable man to be around, he is talkative and does not mind sharing a drink with strangers if the company is pleasant. Never one to miss a good joke Sergei is intent on enjoying the remainder of his life in peaceful bliss. Content with the fact that he will eventually die Sergei does not fear his own mortality and this often makes him a strong individual, he will not hesitate to help a comrade in danger and be that helping hand in the end when it is needed most. But as all men do Sergei is filled with certain regrets of a life long lived, these regrets often tend to drive him into a rather depressive state, and often leads to memories which are rather painful to him and this can easily lead him to be angry and withdrawn.
No matter how much wisdom he has amassed he can never get past the things in which he does not understand and this can be frustrating to him on many levels. Coming from and older world and the life in which he lived Sergei is stuck in the old ways and this can often conflict with today's society. Before mentioned he lives by sets of morals which compass him through life and oft times these morals are often looked over by others and disrespected and Sergei is not one who is to be disrespected. While he has left most of his anger in the past he is not completely void of it and he has no problem putting a bullet in one who has not a shred of decency towards him and this can make him a rather loose cannon in some cases. He wants the respect he feels he has earned and he wants people to believe his morals an not their own and this can make him a rather immovable object. While he holds tight to himself he is not close minded, but he has no problem speaking his mind when he is threatened and will not hesitate to sway people to his way of thinking if he is able to do so.
Sergei is now in his later life religious, while he is not a religious freak he is quite up to date with the religion in which he believes. He does not trick himself into believing that he can right the wrongs he had done, but his religious beliefs often conflict with the man he is and the man he had to be in the past. You will never catch him quoting some type of scripture but often times you will see him praying in solitude. He uses religion as an attempt to atone for his life style. Sergei in his entirety is an old book in a libarary full of computerized books, he is stubborn and often struggles to adapt to a technological world he does not understand. This can be a blessing and a curse.
Character background: Sergei or Reznov as he is often called by those who know him was born in Moscow, Russia to a rather rich and well connected family. His mother whom he never knew died during pregnancy complications and his father although a loving man was a rather hard man to live with. Sergei grew up in the strictest of environments where discipline was everything and knowledge was the key in which you could live a vast and great life. From the moment he could walk and talk Sergei was privately tutored by the smartest of teachers in his father expansive compound. Sergei barely knew the outside world, he was many times constricted to the house in which he lived and was never aware of the things that went on around him. This being the case he also grew up very alone and had no friends and a father who always seemed to be away working. For the first many years of his life Sergei was shut away from the world and found himself looking at the window wishing he could be free.
The freedom however that Sergei so desired came to him sooner then he would of wished and it was in the form of a specialized training which he was inducted into the day he turned thirteen. Sergei's father he found out around this time was in fact a high ranking member within the Russian KGB, and espionage specialist, his father wanting to heir a son to one day take his place began training Sergei to one day be a full member of the KGB. This drove Sergei into a rather deep anger for he wanted to live his life the way he desired in a completely different way, his father however would not hear of his life dreams and went about his own wants and desires forcing Sergei to his bidding. Not able to stand up to his father young Sergei did as he was bade and trained in a specialized program where when he became appropriate age would become a member of the KGB. The training was grueling, everyday was a hell, and for almost six years Sergei endured it all the while his anger growing, his defiance increasing.
By his nineteenth birthday Sergei was part of the KGB and had been trained to be an especially deadly asset. Sergei's life beyond this point is rather shrouded by enough black tape that it could cover all of the Kremlin and then some. There are snippets here and there of a man, a ruthless KGB agent who always accomplished his job no matter what he had to do to complete it if it be torture or other various forms of grotesque actions. By the time twenty years had passed by Sergei was a well respected official in Russia and was on the fast track to being quite high in the Russian Government. It was within these years that Sergei took a wife and sired a child into the world, but this alas was not meant to last and due to unknown circumstances they were both murdered and the entire situation was covered up never to see the light of day again and this drove Sergei into a decline. His work slipped, his mind became entangled in anger and resentment and the icing on the cake was the day his father passed away suddenly en cloaking him in darkness and for the first time in his life he was completely alone.
After his father death Sergei inherited his father estate along with all his wealth but this alone was not enough to sate the growing sadness in his heart. Around the time Sergei was reaching his mid forties he defected from his country with his amassed wealth and was never seen again in Russia, thought to be dead his disappearance was never investigated and Sergei was free to look for a newer life somewhere else. Sergei eventually found himself within Canada where he would eventually become a citizen and settle down in an excluded estate far away from prying eye's. For the five years up until his current age he has revived the life that he once felt before tragedy struck and has integrated himself into his new home. He has lived a quiet happier life retired from his previous life in his small estate where he just desires to live the rest of his days in blissful peace and serenity.
I'm only letting certain players play teacher roles.
Ah okay then. Thanks.
<Snipped quote by Ryker Rohrer>
That is one bad-ass suicide ship :D
She will get the job done, although with these other bad ass ships so far I don't think it would be in my favor to try and start any trouble lol. I am an alien among many different human colonists I can see where this could go xD
Is the Charms Teaching Position still open? Id love to fill the position if it is.
Sweet this is really shaping up with some big players.
I had a hard time with this ship honestly, within the boundaries of not going overboard and the boundaries of not being to under equipped given the scenario of this ship was hard. It was never meant to be so large but when the idea for this to be the Flag Ship of my custom race I had to give it appropriate dimensions and modifications otherwise it would not really standout from other ships of its kind. Still its hard to make a war ship not look like Im overpowering it in a roleplay setting, this is the first time I came up with a war ship from scratch so I was googling for like three hours lol.
In the terms of something interesting about myself I would have to say I am a long time experienced Ghost Hunter whom owns a small three man group who does investigations where ever we can. On the same note I am well versed on Demonology (academical of course, no devil circles here ^^) and to date I have meant three rather nasty entities two of which I am positive were demonic in nature.
or Dilonian I comes from the Universe known as Setta Alpha V and extremely old area of space located in the Nebulian Galaxy, home of the two warring races, one known as the Dilonians who reside on their planet named Dilonia and the other known as the Killians who reside on their planet of Killona II. The Galaxy known as Nebulian is best known for being extremely contested space between the two super powers who inhabit it, all other races who once lived within this galaxy were long ago wiped out by the war between the Shape shifting race of Dilonia and the animal like reptilians of Killona both of which have been at war for nearly five thousand years. Both races are considered highly volatile towards each other and any other whom decide to get between them or their war, both species are warrior races with superior technological skills which have given them the ability to build war ships in which they wage their battles with. The two ships which are the most feared of these technological advances is the Dilonian I and the Killona which are A class sub R type battle cruisers with devastating weapons. It is unknown which began the war between these two warrior like races, and is contested that once upon a time they two races were once one in unity, but and proof on the contrary has long since been destroyed by years of war.
The Dilonia I is capable of holding up to a maximum crew of 7000, however this maximum is never meant as it does not take so many in which to run the ship. At most unless an invasion is being planned only three hundred will be on the ship at any time. This complement exists of The Captain, The Second in Command, Science Officer, Navigation's Officer, Security Teams, Engineers, Weapons Specialists, and communication Officers.
The Dilonian I depending on the way in which you view the ship can have a glorious history or it can have a rather bloody one, it all depends on the point of view in which the one describing it holds. Since its creation on Dilonia it has been Captained by the same Dilonian for almost three hundred years, a sentient known as Captain Bosa Ryke. Since her creation the Diloniann I has seen more action then any other battle cruiser within the entire fleet. She has survived thousands of battles with the Killians this due in no short way to the Captain and his exceptionally trained crew. Originally intended for a suicide mission the Dilonian I has survived its original purpose and rose through hell and war to become the flag ship for the entire Dilonian race. Upgraded with the high technological advancements through the years it is the most feared ship in the Setta Alpha V universe and is said to be unbeatable by any. It has ever been a knife in the side of the Killians who have tried for centuries to destroy her and her Captain.
Captain Bosa Ryke: The most decorated Captain in the Dilonian Fleet, he commands infinite respect among his people and is considered on of the best military minds of his species. Is the current and only commander of the Flag Ship Battle Crusier Dilonian I. Has seen much better in his long life and is smarter for it which has kept him and his crew alive through fire and hell.
Second in Command Serex Dyve: Second in command to Bosa Ryke for his entire career he is Bosa's most trusted advisor and technical analyst. Whatever happens on the Dilonian I is his business as much as Captain Rykes and he is respected among all other on the ship and commands in Rykes stead when he is absent from command.
Chief Science Officer Ellian Jern: One of the highest respected science officers in the fleet Ellian Jern is responsible for all lives within the Dilonian but being of the highest intelligence when it comes to her job. With the best technology in the fleet at her finger tips she is one of the pillars which keeps the Dilonian I alive in battle.
Chief Engineer Frager Dun: Chief Engineer of the Dilonian I, Frager is a top rate engineer and keeps the Dilonian I at top rate and peak efficiency. With a contingent of knowledge for all Dilonian technology he is a source of information on and off of battle. In short he could fix an engine with a piece of small metal if he had to.
Chief Navigator Jillan Trayx: Jillan is the best navigator in the fleet and has piloted the Dilonian I out much peril in her long and glorious career. With the ability to do advanced equations and maneuvers in her head for fun, if there is danger she can navigate her way out of it with efficiency.
