@ChickenTeriyaki@Assallya@WindstormuglyAs the light washed over him, no doubt ending the conversation between Aion and the blonde haired woman, the mutant's left eye snapped shut. He whirled around, his arm lighting up as he held his human arm up to block the harsh light. Why had he shut one eye?
It was his shooting eye. An old friend had taught him the trick, saying that it would be useful against enemies with flashbangs or flares, because after the light faded, his left eye would still be adjusted to the darkness and allow him to see through both. His right eye adjusted quickly to the light, and so, his arm lowered, the male's open eye locking onto what he believed was the source.
"...Diplomacy was never my strong suit." He answered, as he eyed the blade the other person carried. "Though, I doubt an unsheathed blade is needed."
His eyes then snapped to the side, where he could feel an output of magical energy. Ever since his..incident..he had developed somewhat of a sixth sense to the otherworldly energies. Wisps of darkness traveled upwards from his arm, as a reaction to the perceived threat. He would clench his demon fist, silently shaking himself from his suspicion.
However, he would go and check, at the least. He nodded his goodbye to the female and the male with the light, and depart from the two of them, walking towards where he had sensed the energy.
If the mage, Emlem, could sense the male, he would see that he was not gathering energy, prepping himself for a fight. He would be ready if an attack came his way, but he wouldn't provoke the being to fight.
