In the chaos Misha was witnessing, he was dealing with a sort of internal battle while the group finally started a full retreat into the tunnels. He slightly stumbled as he ran, something he tried to make subtle. His vision blurred and became a mess of static, his sound receptors filling up with aggravating white noise that cause his mainframe's output signals to surge wildly.
"How amusing..." a distorted voice whispered, "You think you can run..."
The Lei'Loni shook his head, trying to scramble the signal emitted from the hacker. He's never experienced anyone able to indirectly bypass his security and establish a link into his mind before. The owner of this voice must've been the one to crack his code.
"Who are you...?"
"Oh, brother, you didn't think... you were... the only one created to be... the next tier of "perfect soldiers", did you? How arrogant..."
Misha tried to track where the link was being generated, but was met with a strong shock.
"Tsk. Tsk. Don't try to try to fight me... on my own battlefield... I may not be able to fight like... you can, but I have other methods... little Zaros... I will always be watching you."
The voice faded upon issuing those words and Misha was left standing there in the tunnel in shock. He could only think of one clear method the hacker was using to interfere with him. The visor over his head began to open, the Lei'Loni reaching inside and began pulling out the Network Matrix.
Doing so created a painful spark that surged violently when the wires were disconnected. Without it, he wouldn't be able to send out or recieve wireless signals, but that also meant he couldn't be tracked by this mysterious threat.
He looked to his newly appointed companions. It was a little odd of a group, but they would have to suffice in the current situation. The escort seemed a little heated at how awry the simple mission was supposed to be and demanded an answer, so Misha complied.
"My partner and I both know a great deal of Lei'Loni internal affairs, that enough would prove beneficial to your cause. If you've been paying attention on the news, we've been condemned for treason. There is a reason for that, though it's one even I don't know." he pointed his face to Aren, "There are things she hasn't even told me over the 10 years we've fought together, and I'd like to learn of them soon too."
