Long ago when the universe was young a entity known only as the 'All-God' existed, alone and full of need. Luckily this omniscient and omnipotent force was lonely, and despite his vast imagination craved the company of others. Using his power, the All-God conjured a whole plethora of powerful immortal entities, each with their own individual powers and personalities. To begin with life was good, and he rejoiced in tutoring his creations in the arts of creation and higher magic. This couldn't last forever though, and before long petty rivalries and disputes created several rifts amongst the pantheon of deities. Battles became frequent, and deep scars were etched into the very fabric of reality. Distraught that it's children had become so disharmonious, the All-God gathered his creations and used his greater power to seal them all in isolation. Angered by this his children cried out for another chance; the All-God found that all his actions had severely drained his reservoir of energy and devised a plan. Offering a deal to all his underlings in exchange for freedom, he would exchange it for their immortality. Although reluctant, an unanimous decision was eventually made and a deal was struck. In order to still let the violent or unruly gods settle disputes, the All-God crafted a vast land for the gods to populate: this land was dubbed Roa. With their new mortality the All-God's children were wary of conflict, and instead set to creating dominions to rule over. The All-God, content with the new order of things, gathered his creations and warned that this new world was theirs to rule, and conflict by proxy was potentially healthy to settle feuds, but any God to take the life of another would be rewarded by his full wrath. A age of prosperity lasting hundreds of years followed, and relative peace endured; but now the All-God has disappeared; and in the old scars left by the gods, dark tendrils have started to creep out towards Roa, bringing with them something awful.
Take on the role as a God of the pantheon of Roa, and help create a large world to interact with, defend or conquer. As a God of Roa you control a country sized land/sea mass of variable size and rule over whatever species inhabit it. Anything from fantasy to low sci-fi is kosher, and as long as you approach something in a fitting way I'll usually be okay with it. The mortality of a Roan God is a loose term, and they are by no means easily dispatched of, unable to be killed by conventional means and in some cases situationally impervious to death. A post should consist the actions of your God, and optionally figures of importance or significance within your kingdom, or even mere subjects like the everyday Joe. The extent of communication between your god and your nation could be actual face-to-face talking or induced visions in dreams, or anything in between.
