Amena moved from Dingle, Counter Kerry Ireland when the number on her arm was coming closer and closer to the time. Her father and mother were part of the original witches that stayed in Ireland rather than fleeing when the Vikings struck their town in the second Viking invasion. Her family believed that Ireland was much stronger than what the Vikings thought.
As she grew of age to marry, her mother married her off to an older man named Máel. Amena was only 12 at the time but Máel made sure to take care of her as if he was her father instead of her husband. After Máel died, Amena was the ripe age of 18. A young widow, she married another man, Leath. Amena was so in love with Leath that she wanted to age with him, but she knew the fate of her family.
She was never to age after her abilities were fully developed. It was a curse thrust upon her and her family by another witch who was overly jealous of Amena's mother when she married her father. The witch cursed them so Amena's family would forever be forced to watch her loved ones get old and die while she was still young and spritely.
Amena thought she was fine once she turned 20 but then her 21 birthday came and she knew. She knew she would only have a year left with Leath before her growth ended and she would have to "die". In order to keep their secret, the family would have a death period where they would go into hiding until a new generation took over.
Years passed and she continued the same routine until the day that she was told she was going to America. Amena was thrust into a boat and shipped off to this strange world she never thought possible. This happened in 1920, where the jazz scene was starting to pick up. She continued to hide her secret until she noticed the the tattoo's date was coming closer and closer.
Occupation : She is a graphic designer who does work with record labels, tattoo shops, etc. She is also the singer of a band called Raging Roses.
"I'm really hoping this guy understands that there is much more to me than I put out there. I hope he doesn't get tired of me pushing him away."
