Personal Dossier

Name
Kunze Adrianne

Age
15

Origin
Düsseldorf, Germany

Physical Description
Adrianne is a composed lady, standing at about a striking five feet and ten inches, which is a height above most female peers; funny enough, shes still growing despite it all. For the most part, she displays a moderately muscled, hardened physique, with a flat, taut abdomen to boot. Her figure, for the most part, is one expected to have at this state of growth in a teenager, and tends to do her best when caring for said body. Like her family, Adrianne's natural hair coloring is black, with the white steaks being dyed and "experimental" as she calls it. Following more traits of her family (mother's side) are her piercing, focused red eyes; she used to wear glasses, but now sticks to wearing contacts due to the nature of her powers. The only thing she really got from her dad was the fact that she grew two small horns like him on the sides of her head. Other than that, she often has a frown that generally makes her appear to have a scornful, resting bitch face.

If anything is to say about her clothes, its... that Adrianne has never picked them out. Honestly, if it looks good to her parents, she'll just roll with it, such as the given example of her current wear displayed above. The first thing to note is the clear, white blouse she has on, which is somewhat large considering that it obscures the skirt she has on. Following this are a couple of purple ribbons that she has been taught to tie around at certain portions on her body. The only thing she can really say that she likes about said clothing is that it mostly is loose.

Personal History
Quirks... they defined the family legacy, their culture, and why they were so specific. This is what made the Kunze's reject any notion of those who didn't fall under their concepts, their creation of a hero, their desires, the history they wanted to leave on this world. So what happens when someone is born not fitting into this mold? It depends on the progenitor, the parents they come from... as well as the current matriarch or patriarch of the house and triumvirates.

They weren't revered as a great house that bred top heroes for nothing, especially since attending some of the top schools for being a hero was the norm.

Adrianne was born in Düsseldorf to a pair of Pro Heroes, one of which had a job outside of heroism; her mother with telekinesis who was one of many children born from the Kunze lineage and her father who had the quirk to transform any part of his body, sometimes his entire self, into an entity resembling a demon in old myths and legends; he also worked as an elementary teacher. Growing up, she was the middle child, between her older brother Lukas, and her younger sister, Zelda. For the most part, their lives were normal, as much as you could call normal in this quirky world. However, it was more like Adrianne's world was a ticking time bomb as a result of the family she was born into.

Her mom was of a Germanic heritage, one that cultivated and grew children with psychic quirks... mostly telekinesis. They would often grow these children to be the very best through strenuous training that forced them to expand their powers before sending them to one of higher up hero academies of the world when they came of age, though mostly U.A. due to it consistently ranking #1. While it was expected of the family to have children with psychic quirks, her older brother and younger sister managed to manifest their own as Telekinesis. Adrianne on the other hand gained her fathers quirk instead - being able to transform certain parts of her body into limbs or parts into anything she would like, though she would often manifest these as parts similar to those of a demon, mimicking her dad. Upon discovering that she wasn't a late bloomer, the Kunze's general consensus was that she was to be disposed of, preferably put into an orphanage much like any of the other children who lacked the family quirk. Most of the family expected Adrianne to disappear from their lives and be a forgotten empty memory, with a possible divorce that followed suit. However, the strange thing was there was none of it. In fact, her mother, nor father fought about this and decided that they wouldn't abandon their child to uphold that legacy.

This had its own drawbacks as it made the annual family meetings in Germany awkward, especially when it came to discussions about further training involving said children. None of the adults, aside from her own parents even acknowledged her; playing with her cousins was an alright ordeal, at least until she noticed something - her quirk actively contrasted with the rest of the others, who had, comparatively speaking, psychic quirks. Honestly, it was a bit strange, but she never felt the impact later in her life until more and more of these annual meetings continued. Everyone began to act foreign to her and distanced themselves from her, with the only people ever truly acknowledging her were her siblings and parents. Silence from the adults changed to something more malicious as she was met with callous remarks. Only when her mother eventually took her aside, she then learned what was going on and why. While it was a bit difficult for her childlike mind to understand, there was a certain type of juvenile hatred, yet desire to be accepted. She tried her damndest to be noticed, or have them acknowledge her, only to be met with the same condescending attitude than before.

Their responses towards her only seemed to embitter Adrianne, who was now driven by a mixture of spite and a desperate attempt at being loved by those who chose not to acknowledge her, even going so far as to mimic the training she saw Lukas and Zelda go through! Of course, when some members of the Kunzes caught wind of this, they decided to play it off to their advantage, maybe break the girl a little and drive her so far away so she could never besmirch the family legacy they were constantly trying to uphold and show to the world. The demeaning and scathing remarks would continue as long as she continued this training, with statements that she was constantly behind; this didn't help the young girl due to her being pushed into scenario's more befitting of users with psychic quirks, more so when put to training that was similar to her older brother. Adrianne would ultimately fail these most of the time, but more often than not she would either power through or be assisted by Lukas. His help, as well as the shared training methods and caustic comparisons between her and her older brother would cause the girl to begin harboring a growing resentment towards him over time. Outside of this all, she would often prove to be superior to everyone else in physical activities, taking pride in displaying that she was better than them at that. However, that change was never enough for the Kunze's; nothing was ever enough.

After her first time training with the family over summer vacation, Adrianne's father decided to take some of the matters into his own hands. Utilizing a "specialized" version of quirk counseling that the children received, her father supplemented her with his own training that would actively benefit her instead of the torture she would endure as a result of the Kunze's "training." Of course, he actively made sure she had time to relax as well and took her out on fishing trips, one of his favorite past-times. While this did help her train her quirk a bit, her zeal towards proving herself never faltered and as a result, every year was a constant rinse and repeat. Aspects of her personality and life began to boil over as she began honing her body on a grandiose scale, but forgoing any sort of connection to other people and sacrificing any and every aspect of her social life in the process; this also produced a strained relationship with her very own brother to the point of always trying to one-up him, which was only made even worse when he decided to attend U.A., the #1 ranked school in the world for heroics. The Kunze's encouraged it, seeing it as a way to continue displaying their greatness, as well as giving the boy a chance to shine; it also helped that a few of them were graduates from that place, including the current patriarch.

Upon hearing this, their father was ecstatic and approving of the choice, but their mother was firmly against it for a multitude of reasons at first. However, she was eventually won over and accepted his choice after witnessing the hard-work he had gone through, the enthusiasm he displayed, and a certain desire in his eyes. With everyone having a unanimous agreement, the Kunze's began utilizing their connections and reputation to ensure that Lukas would get in through recommendations. Meetings were made with children and friends to prepare for his lodgings, Lukas and his parents began filling out most of the paperwork (with him doing most of the work), and Adrianne was on the sidelines, bearing witness to all this. During this time, she became more unresponsive, quiet, brooding, and above all envious; it was all just too much.

A chill lingered in the air around the girl during this time as she began to push herself and train even harder to the point where she would just pass out from frustration, exhaustion, or a mixture of both. The demeaning comments from the Kunze's as she continued to push herself didn't exactly help her state of mind and she straight up just ignored her parents concerns for her to take a break. Everything that was happening, her brother heading to the best hero school in the world, the Kunze's lauding him for his achievements and starving her of any praise didn't do much to help, eventually leading the poor girl to her breaking point.

Out of envy and frustration, Adrianne decided not to attend the school her mother or father attended and instead began to do research on Japan, forgoing her original desire to head to the #1 school in Europe to prove herself. That wouldn't be enough, no, it would never be enough. The Kunze's would continue to ignore her, treat her lesser than the dirt she walked on. She pondered on attending U.A. for a second before recalling her older brother. How would she be able to stand out from someone who was going to get in by recommendation? The Kunze's certainly wouldn't do that for her. They would never focus on her, ignoring every single achievement she made in favor of her older brother, never seeing what she was capable of, never appreciating her for the bullshit they put her through. They would never understand her.

So screw U.A. Adrianne was confident she could get in, but that didn't matter if the results would remain the same, so she targeted the second best hero school in Japan - Ishin Academy. She wasn't just going to make herself heard, she was going to rip the spotlight away from Lukas and show the Kunze's, the students, the staff, and everyone her worth. She wasn't just going to be a shadow to her brother, constantly being overlooked. So, in the midst of her training, she began pouring more and more research into the place, even requesting that her parents get that same Japanese language tutor they had for Lukas over. Of course, they said no and constantly tried to get her to apply somewhere else, even stating she could get into the #1 hero school in Europe. This would continue until they saw something reminiscent of Lukas in their eyes; while the reasons for her going differentiated largely, they saw that same desire. Defeated and mildly worried, they hired the tutor once more.

Over the course of these few passing years, everything continued to get harder and harder for her, especially since she learned more about Ishin through a second hand source - the tutor. She learned about how rigorous the school was as she began recollecting and regaling tales her close friend told her about the place, especially with how they treated foreigners. It caused her to draw more similarities to her own relatives than before, causing a certain disdain for the place to be imprinted upon her mind and only further amplified the sheer spite she had for the Academy and the Kunze's. Of course, it didn't help that the Kunze's caught wind of this endeavor and desire swiftly and took advantage of Adrianne's feelings. During the Kunze's annual training, they made points that only a few of them had been able to graduate from that place with their dignity and pride intact, even occasionally slipping that there's no way someone like her would possibly succeed, and that she should just give up.

These blunt, minor remarks were a far cry from the indirect way of getting her to give up, yet in this stage in her development, they were enough to push her even further, stirring up the accumulated spite within even more. No matter what they said to her, no matter how they treated her, she wasn't just going to give up, she would never.

It wasn't in Adrianne's nature to give in so easily after all.

Character Development & Conceptualization
My first thought over her when creating this chick was a reverse-Todoroki... namely due to where she originated from, but that's a story for another time. Adrianne is a character that I see fighting against society itself, specifically her Mother's side of the family. As a result of not being born with a psychic or telekinetic quirk, she is often forgone by most people over said side, and even shunned or bullied. This (probably) wouldn't be such a large problem if her mother's side of the family wasn't known for producing great Pro Heroes with said psychic or telekinetic quirks, but I digress. In due part, she fights against the discrimination she faced growing up, to make said family bear witness to the powers they ultimately devalue when "creating" new heroes. Granted, this comes with some drawbacks, such as the meaning of being a hero to Adrianne, but that'll be covered later on.

Right now, I see her as being antagonistic to a certain degree, and probably not making a whole lot of friends. If anything, she'll probably be dismissive or frustrated at the other students, namely due to trying to prove herself, but mostly because she lacks any sort of knowledge over how to have a normal conversation with another person. Uniquely, she'll probably impose the views her Mom's side of the family has onto the school itself, seeing them as a stone to defeating aid families mindset.

To add on to the latter portion, namely the way she interacts with others, I made her mostly a workaholic who has a singular goal and works tirelessly at it. Adrianne lacks any sort of social life and has been a sort of reclusive girl her entire life, never bothering to stop and smell the roses. I hope for her to start off, again, not thinking too much, but show some sort of growing desire for acceptance and companionship amongst her peers, eventually blossoming into respect and other things.

Following that, it would help her get through this unhealthy aspect of life, i.e. focusing primarily on work, and not working on improving other aspects of her life that help make a healthy person.

The question, what it means to be a hero I don't think has ever popped up in her mind. In fact, the only reason she's going out of her way to prove herself is to force her mother's side of the family to see the value in powers like hers, as well as to be accepted. Basically, to be a "great" hero; by "great," I don't mean that she'll be selfless and altruistic. Ironically enough, she'll be more like said family at first, motivated purely by her own self-interest. Eventually, I hope to develop her into someone who decides to "shrug" off the family name and strike out as her own hero; one that inspires hope in the "underdogs" of society, and those who are generally oppressed.

To sum it up, she ironically is becoming the same thing she is fighting against, but I want her to grow out of it, possibly learning to not only be a better person, but to respect and understand others, and do what it takes to go beyond and become her own person.

Abilities & Talents

Quirk Type
Transformation

Quirk Description
Adrianne's quirk developed from her father's side, allowing her to take on the guise of what many would consider to be a demon. This comes from what she first changed her body to display, traits associated with demons or demonic beings. This can cause people to mistake that for being her quirk, calling it something akin to a [Demonic Manifestation]. However, this could not be more farther than the truth

[Transmutation] is the true identity of Adrianne Kunze's quirk, in which she transforms a part of her body into something else, such as morphing her own legs into ones resembling a horse for example. However, she seemingly chooses to shape and contort her body into things that resemble a demon, instead of anything else within the realm of possibility. While these do mostly serve to augment her physical strength, this limitation prevents her from getting creative with what the quirk can do.

The way she has to go about this is multifaceted, having to envision not only the general shape and design of how she wants to change her body, but has to understand the composition and the weaknesses that come along with that as well. Sure, she could change her limbs to make them more suited for punching, but at the cost of possibly being slow as one example. In this case where she can only take on a demonic visage, she should take care not to get any of her edges caught or embedded in anything, such as claws getting stuck in a wall.

Furthermore, due to how much energy it takes to transmute her body into something else, she has quite the voracious appetite. She needs all the nutrients she can get to ensure her transformations are not only effective, but work. If she loses certain ingredients, this can cause her to tire out or become ineffective in a fight due to using them up to transmute her body into something else. Either that, or she might not be able to completely form that.

The final weakness of this is focus. Adrianne needs to mentally exert herself to retain the form she has created, otherwise she reverts back to her regular, human form. The more she transforms herself, the more she has to focus. For an example, something small like increasing her bust a bit would not exert her too much and could be an afterthought, but something like changing her arms into large, chitinous growths with sharp fingers for claws at the end will make it a lot harder for her to keep that focus. So basically, she needs to keep her anger in check.

Other Talents & Attributes
Don't Underestimate Me!: You think she can't handle a punch or give one back without her [Transmutation]? Family training on her mothers end, as well as her fathers training, boxing lessons, as well as a few scuffles without her quirk will say otherwise.

German, Japanese, I Got It: As a result of trying to prove herself to her own family, as well as being able to speak with future classmates, she has taken it up to become bilingual. While she did pick up the tongue of her German heritage rather quickly, Japan was a bit difficult to come by... but nevertheless, she doesn't make as many mistakes as she did before!... probably.

Hook, Line, and Sinker: Whenever she wasn't busy working herself to be the absolute best, her father often brought her out on fishing trips... rather, dragged since she would probably keep declining if he didn't. She started out hating it, then begrudgingly going along with it since there was nothing to do, and finally silently enjoying it.

Jab, Jab, Left Hook!: As a part of her own physical training, she often works out and partakes in boxing. While she is a bit of a rookie, Adrianne has a really nasty left swing, and is more of a southpaw than anything. This training also helps her destressify, via inelegantly punching the crap out of a bag or her trainer.

Mind Spotting Me?: To continue over the latter, this is a part of her families (mothers side) training regiment, taking to it a lot easier than her cousins and very much excelling in it. Enjoys taking in the fact that shes superior in this section when compared to said cousins and even her own brother as well.
Ah damn, and we were so close to making Gowi kill himself; just needed one more application!
Cyril Desrosiers

"Ah, alright, I'll seeya then," Cyril merely gave the girl a thumbs up and a wink to Chloe as she made her grand escape, "hope you find a Growlithe!" And with that said and done, (I assume) she departed for the time. Wait, does she have any pokéballs? Eh, she'll get that sorted out.

Raising an eyebrow, he turned his own attention to his own Holo Caster, tapping a couple of things and sifting through some information before checking the time and sighed. The little Budew peeked over, waggling its little bud as it rest belly first before tilting to the side in mild confusion. Cyril merely looked up, smiling at his partner before giving Aster a reassuring pat.

Afterwords, he tapped it off and sighed, ruffling the side of his neck with an almost hurt expression, weakly sighing as he hunched over for a second, shaking his head. Aster noted this and curled his little feet around Cyrils hair. "Maybe they'll take interest?"

As he was murmuring to himself, he returned to his much prouder, goofier state, back straight with a much stronger smile displayed. "I really need to get going as well; hopefully she isn't too long, otherwise, I'm gonna have to skedaddle." He chuckled, looking down at the younger fellow, giving him a thumbs up before walking to the door making his exit.

"Fwee?"

"Hm? Oh, it's fine, I just have some work t'do," looking behind him at the crowd of people, he gave a wink and a coy smirk as he made a finger gun on his chin, as if he were thinking.

"If I'm gone 'fore she gets her, tell her Cyril Desrosiers will pay her cakes back in interest, alright?!" And with that, he gave a little pivot, gently shutting the door in the process. With that said and done, he brushed his hair up, tickling the little Budew on accident as he revealed his forehead to the world.

With a huff, he hopped to the side and rest against the building, staring up into the sky, watching some of the Wingulls sing their songs as they headed over to the ocean.

"Aaaaaand sent, name an' all; maybe she'll look cuter if she's mad."

With a deft tap and a glowing, coy smile, the message was sent through the Pokédex, from Cyril to Ellyn who would probably be fuming at being stood up. Either that or not getting her cake. He hummed, nodding a bit, satisfied as he crossed by a couple of kids, one of which who looked painfully tired as he stopped to catch his breath. Cyril looked over to the other side of the street, seeing a Mienshao and their trainer looking at what appeared to be a gym. There was other action going on in the streets, but it generally seemed peaceful, outside of the occasional battle he happened along.

Hard to believe that all happened years ago, but then again, same goes for most events that transpire, at least that's what he thought to himself. "How you holdin' up partner?" Cyril gave the little Budew a nudge on his side, causing him to giggle sheepishly, as if being tickled.

"Seems like you're lovin' the sights; a whole new world to you I'm guessin'," Cyril smiled as the Budew bobbed its bud up and down, causing Cyril to sneeze, as well as anyone else within a couple of feet within the trainer.

"Though you don't need to scrunch up so much when someone passes by, that's how you'll get wrinkles," wait, can plants get wrinkles?

Either way, it wasn't too much longer till he slipped into a pokémart and began browsing through all the wares. First thing he did was scale up all the items, waltzing up and down the aisles before realizing that, yes, he was technically a new trainer. Upon this realization, he clicked the roof of his mouth before forming and o with his lips.

"Riiiiight, I'm not... supposed to... hmph..." As he murmured awkwardly to himself, lightly wincing as he blushed a little, he quickly dragged his feet to another aisle and swiped a couple of things, such as two escape ropes and an extra pokéball. Cyril sighed, murmuring about how he should of brought a little more money for this all as he soon exited the door with his gains staring upwards.

There was always that other option, buuuuuuut...

"Fwee!"

"Hey lil' buddy, you up for a couple of more battles after possibly meeting a new friend?" The little Budew looked puzzled at the statement, not sure whether to wiggle its little bud in excitement or to shiver and shrivel up. Either way, Cyril chuckled and picked the little guy from his head and nestled Aster into his arms.

"Hey, no need to be so shy, I'm sure they'll be like me!" Aster tilted his head, looking up like a small child towards his mother. "I mean, they probably won't be as weird as me, buuuuuuut still~." There was a mirthful smirk and a glib nod as he marched forward, pondering to himself while the little Budew settled in.

Now then, where was this school located?
Aurel Fuchs // Hisakawa Hiroki

Location:: Courtroom
Aurels Interactions:: Ginshi (@KenjuGuy), Snow (@addamas), Momoe, Ayu (@Ammokkx)
Hisakawas Interactions:: Aurel

Aurel patiently waited as his interjection sunk into them, the boy eyeing everyone, including Chikako, who he was certain had to be in shock at the accusation. He bit his lip and held his breath, hands clamping tightly onto the sides of the podium as Ginshi made his own deductions, with the thief remaining deadly silent. While Ginishi did make a decent assessment, he closed his eyes the moment he suggested Chikako attempted to frame Maiya.

While it was a possibility, Aurel didn't entertain that idea, instead, opening his eyes and flinching slightly when Snow screamed, looking almost ready to pull her hair out.

"A-alright, there's no reason to get worked up," he pulled his hands up, wide eyed and waving his hands at the girl for a bit, with a frown on his face. Clearing his throat, he clenched his fists and pressed them back down onto the podium. Time to get everything mentally sorted out.

"Ginshi, your assessment is sort of correct. While I highly doubt she was looking to frame Maiya, I do believe she went to her lab for another reason," he faced the Judo Master for a bit before glancing over at Momoe.

"Instead of snapping the CD, she instead went there to cut it in half with a pair of scissors. Take a look at the evidence present, it looks like a pretty clean cut there. So, after crafting her murder weapon she disposed of the rest in Maiya's trash because it was convenient, although," Aurel murmured for a second rubbing his lips as he stared off to the side. He was silent for a moment, as if he was still trying to piece together his thoughts.

The thief lightly hummed for a moment, catching sight of Hiroki as he squinted out the boy and frowned into his hand. "... Mm, sorry, just thinking of some things." He sighed, pressing his hands onto the podium once more as he stared at the crowd.

"Anyways, back to the murder weapon; where was it exactly found?" Aurel posed this question to the crowd, eyeing each and every one of them, never making eye contact as he patiently waited for an answer from one of them.

"Those shards... are you suggesting those shards Snow found in the shower are the murder weapon," Hiroki suddenly blurted out, pointing a finger in the thief's direction. That had to explain the pink fabric Snow found as well.

As soon as that answer came out, Aurel chuckled to himself with a barely traceable smile, "That's it; while Chikako was washing the blood off, she must of seen that she was running low on time while trying to wash the blood off of herself. As a result, she decided to destroy the CD in the shower before rushing back to Hibiki to re-link before the timer ran out." The boy looked down at the podium fidgeting a bit with his hands.

"That would also explain the pink fragment that was left there. It was torn when she was destroying the CD," Hiroki asserted leaning forward with a determined demeanor. Aurel merely nodded before staring off to the side.

But was that really it? Hiroki looked over at Flare before glancing over to Lilly, eyes focusing squarely on their attire. What separated them from being the murderer was the next thing on his mind.
Welp, just gonna repost this; for the most part, she is the same, aside from changes to her quirks name and functionality.

Welp, I'm gonna have a lot of rps to handle now; time for Adrianne to return!
Oh, you're giving this another shot then huh? Mind if I slip on in? I'm unsure if I'll use my prior character (since I feel I didn't live up to his full potential) or make someone else, but good luck to everyone who is joining. My desire for someone who wishes to find the truth is still at an all time high. Looking at the sheets, that might be a bit difficult to go for the latter since plenty of charys share similar traits to him... eh, whatevs!

Also, Sharehouse or Club, met the Lostman, and what I enjoy most is difficult to put down, so I'll just go with the flow.

Edit: Well, wasn't that hard to transfer and change a few things about this character, but I'll just post him here for now, as well as leave a small snippet of the other character I'm brainstorming right now. Don't know who I'll roll with, old or new, but I'll keep my options open.

As this whole discussion continued to transpire after his claim, Aurel remained silent, musing on some of the other statements throughout this entire trouble. Leaning back, he nibbled at his finger before yawning into his hand and rubbing his eyes.

"Hm... that kinda makes sense, but now this brings up another issue," Hiroki spoke up, pursing his lips as he massaged the side of his temple with a single finger, "why are the scissors covered in blood?"

Posing this question, he moved the finger by his temple to his lips and began tapping it while looking off to the side. "Considering the timeline and multiple other factors, I don't understand why they are like that. The docks are a decent distance away from the labs to the point where the killer wouldn't of been able to shower and destroy the cut up CD if they went to retrieve the scissors from Maiya's lab. Furthermore, there's no real way to hurt yourself cutting a CD in half, unless you go about it in a really silly way."

Hiroki pouted, crossing his arms as he tilted his head, looking up at the ceiling, "That's honestly all I really got, so unless we have a-"

"The killer is Chikako."

Hiroki sputtered, blinking for a moment as the thief interjected into his thought process with an allegation that Chikako murdered Naomi, "N'huh, what?" There was a fair share of accusations thrown out, many with reason but a lack of a rhyme to the case; despite this all, was this a completely random accusation?

He was unsure. Hiroki could understand why Izo accused Ayu and him, despite the accusation falling flat. The boy merely rubbed his chin, staring down into his stand, ruminating. How did the thief arrive at that conclusion?

His mind wandered back to the pink cloth for a brief moment. Flare did try to deflect because she has pink clothes, but the thing is, Chikako has pink clothes as well... and Lilly also had pink clothes as well.

What made Aurel think it was Chikako?
Cyril Desrosiers

Retracting his arm, he continued to beam without a care in the world as he moved up his hand to Aster, who was wiggling on his head and gave the little guy some scriches. The little Pokémon trilled to himself as he rubbed up against the finger, Cyril giving him and the other trainer his undivided attention. Despite Rodger's response, his smile never faltered as he closed his eyes and tilted his head to the side slightly before lightly shrugging.

"Ah, well, fair is fair is fair is fair~," he exclaimed with vigor as he continued to scratch his partner, moving on from Asters side to his belly. "Wouldn't wanna make you stand your friend up! Aaaaaaaand I look forward to battling you too, as well as the rest of Jacque's and Kalmia's trainers," as he went on to make his last statement, he utilized his other arm to point at the young man, his grin growing ever so wider as he did so.

Of course before he decided to wait on the other duo, it seemed one of the eager Bibarels just burst out and gave his response! Well, he wasn't exactly eager or a Bibarel, but still!

Pivoting his head to look over at Basil, Cyril merely gave a nod before toning down his smile to something softer, "Alright, sounds good to me then; hope you'll take up the offer." With that said and done, though, he kind of expected Chloe to follow Basil out of the lab as well.

"But in any case, Rodger, we'll meet again for that battle; show me how much you've grown by then," Cyril smirked, snapping his free hand as he pointed at the boy before pivoting around to the smaller lad, "I'll meet you with (possibly) Chloe at the exit to Route 1 then!"

Now, what was his strategy...

"I'm probably gonna get some supplies, maybe fight some other trainers, and possibly check out the trainer school; shot in the dark, we could just meet up there by chance," Cyril giggled to himself before moving his other hand towards his head and gently grasped the wiggling Budew before swaddling the Pokémon in his arms.

"Buuuuuuut before I get going, there's one last thing I need to check at the lab, I'll catch up with ya later," with that said, he made a light jog back towards the lab as he waved to the two other trainers behind him.

One specific thought had crossed his mind for how Chloe could earn some cash, as well as the fact that she might of wasted her items getting here. Instead of bursting into the lab and throwing the door open so hard that it would look like it was ripping off the hinges, Cyril opted to open the door like a normal person would.

Of course, the moment he opened is mouth he instantly shut himself up by covering it up with another hand. Honestly, as silly and impetuous as he was, he didn't want to ruin the moment that a new trainer had when getting their first partner... wait. Wait wait wait wait wait.

Where did the kid come from? He wasn't here the last time he came in! Did he just sneak right past them or something? Wowzers, was he some kind of ninja?!

Cyril almost looked ready to burst at the seams with questions, at least until he went to observe the reactions of the other three. Chloe appeared to be as cheerful as he first met her, Kalmia had this sort of impish smirk plastered on her face, and Jacques looked like a lost Lillipup while on his phone. Wait.

Wait wait wait wait wait.

Cyril blinked before an evil glint appeared in one of his eyes. He mentally chuckled to himself, bringing the little Budew up to is face, causing Aster to tilt his bud a bit. It was then where Cyril whispered something to the little Pokémon that caused him to sweat bullets, only to be reaffirmed by a thumbs up and smile from Cyril.

After some contemplation, he gulped and sighed, seemingly sweating bullets with his own tiny huge smile as Cyril opened the door ever so slightly before approaching the group. "Ah, sorry for interrupting, but there was something I forgot abo-," as Cyril spoke up, he got closer to Jacques more than anyone else, rubbing the back of his neck while Budew wriggled around in his arms.

Suddenly, the little Budew popped out, hopping towards the elite four member, unfurling his buds as he lurched forward and clasped onto it and pulling it out of his hand, "Fweeeeeeeeee!"

"H-huh, Aster," he suddenly exclaimed with a shocked expression, jaw slightly agape and eyes wide open as he stared at his partner.

The confused Budew just stood there for a good second, shivering a bit before jumping from Jacques arms and scurrying outside, "Ugh, sorry about that, I didn't think he would be so mischievous, I'll get your phone back."

With that said and done Cyril followed suit, dashing towards the door and quickly slipping outside. While this probably looked a bit absurd to anyone looking, he really didn't care as he quickly opened the door before closing it behind him.

And who was standing by the side of the door was none other than a shivering little Budew, phone held between its buds as it shivered with anticipation and giggled with some excitement before looking to the side and jumping back. He frowned, unsure of what to make of his partners reaction, especially after what happened inside.

"... Sorry, I probably made you a bit confused with that reaction," the Budew saw that Cyril had a bit of a sullen face and a weaker smile. That and the apology to boot just made him confused, at least until the explanation, "Had to try and throw em' off, shouldn't of freaked you out like that... good job."

Aster perked up as Cyril bent over and scooped the little Pokémon up, grin becoming wider as Cyril gently took the phone from Aster and began tapping furiously at it with one hand. Looking at the contacts, Cyril began to sift through the range of numbers with a grin only a Liepard would have after completing a heist, scrolling up and down for a couple of seconds before placing Aster up on the perch known as his head before pulling out his Pokédex.

Utilizing his other hand, he did some tapping on the device, switching between looking at the phone and the Pokédex as he tapped away at one and scrolled on the other before letting out a resounding sigh with a smug look to boot.

Welp, ten more numbers added to the dex!

Cyril obtained the contact information of all the (current) Rival Trainers!

Leaning on the side of the building, he looked towards the door, now lightly chuckling to himself as he popped the Pokédex back into his satchel before he went back to looking at Jacques "Hopefuls."

Lesse, he was definitely not going to contact Chloe or Rodger for obvious reasons, but the rest were fair game since they were a mystery as far as he knew! Going through the list, he eyed a couple of the names near the top with a glint of curiosity before tapping a random name. Gods, he was going to either sound like the biggest moron if this went south, or-

Alright, looks like he did it. The moment he said that was when he heard some shuffling before the other trainer on the opposite end hung up. Once they did that, Cyril let out a sigh of relief as he gave Aster a gentle pat on the side, before his face darkened with a sharp smile creeping up the sides.

Lets see, lets change the name of this folder to "♡♡Kalmia♡♡," and set his screensaver to a picture of Kalmia from the internet. Honestly, it wasn't the best quality, but whatever, it's a picture of her receiving her certification as a professor, so it should work.

After that little bit, Cyril inched open the door, peering in to observe the situation. Once the newbie had finished basking in the moment with his partner and decided to do whatever he wanted after that was the prime moment Cyril would burst on in, with a huge smile on his face.

"Hey, you're another new trainer right? Sorry for that interruption from earlier, as well as the interruption now, but you've ordered a special serving known as a Pokémon battle~!" Cyril sounded incredibly hyped and his body language communicated that as well. He was all smiles as usual and still had a cheerful visage despite furrowing his brows, plus he was stretching both his arms out and pointing at the entire group.

"I'm Cyril, and I'm not the trainer who will be dishing it out, he smile contorted into something more impish, more sinister as he eyed both Jacques and Kalmia.

"However, the one who'll be dishing it is one of Jacque's trainers!"

...

...

...

"Well I think they're one of his trainer's based on the list... also, they need to ride your Aerodactyl after this all Jacques, namely to get back to Rainrock," he uttered somewhat absentmindedly in Jacques direction as Aster pointed his little bud towards the group.

"I also gotta' treat them to some cake as well... also, here's your phone back," Cyril murmured to himself, going off on some peculiar tangent about pastries and such as he held out the hand that contained Jacque's phone.
Cyril Desrosiers

"Wait, seriously," Cyril instantly exclaimed, throwing up his hands up asymmetrically, palms out as if to block some sort of attack leveraged against him. Of course, this was more of a silly little overreaction as he whipped his head from side to side as Chloe began getting fired up with her own thing, wanting to catch a Growlithe in the process.

Sighing and clearing his throat, he then proceeded to give Aster a light pat, the Budew rubbing affectionately against his hand. "Well, it pertains more so to an important question I have for you two," he beamed, not only pointing at Basil, but to Chloe.

"I was going to invite the three of you to travel with me across Isson, well, might be two at this rate," Cyril pivoted around and dashed towards the door, the little Budew swiveling on his head as it wrapped its little feet around his hair, attempting to hand on. "Chloe, Basil, you don't need to give me an answer right now, but-"

Cyril suddenly threw the door open, causing it to fly open with such an intense speed and force, you would of thought a Rapidash had kicked it open. Hopefully there was no one standing in front of it, hopefully they hopped out of the way, because he was too focused on the conversation at hand, as well as it drowning out the knock. "Just think on it; it might be fun for us, plus the more the merrier after all~!"

He gave them a cheerful wink and toothy grin before turning around and hopped from the entrance of the lab to the path on the lawn. To be fair, it was less hopping and more like launching to anyone watching as this tall brunette waved an arm out to a man getting strapped in on his bike, "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOIII!"

It was quite the shrill, even some birds residing on nearby rooftops seemed to freak out and fly off as a result of it as he approached the other young trainer. Huh, he looked pretty mature now that he got a closer look; lot gruffer and tougher looking fellow as well!

Aster seemed to be unsure about the guys and despite resting on his head, shrunk back a bit in an attempt to make himself look as small as possible all while looking to the side. Cyril, on the other hand, was not going to make such attempts.

"Hey, hey, you're that one trainer Basil fought earlier, Roger, right," exclaimed with a smirk on his face, bubbling with a ton of energy as he leveled a finger at the young man, pointing directly at Roger's chest.

"Do you wanna come along with me and possibly two others on our adventure through Isson?" Cyril was direct, cutting straight to the point, placing a hand on his hip as he tilted his head, studying the boy as he waited for an answer.

Hopefully the guy would humor him on his invite, but if not, that would be a shame... the same could be said for Chloe and Basil as well.

After all, the best memories that are made are the ones made together after all!
