As the title suggests, I'm hoping to run a roleplay based on the series, My Hero Academia. For those who's interests I piqued and/or are interested in joining in, instead of the typical AU and life at U.A. High, I was planning to go for something different to spice things up. Before I go any further, I just wanna point out that I'll be using ideas and tropes from other series, but only those that would appear appropriate to the setting we will be going for. Injuries and death will be possibilities, to make actions more well thought of. I think incorporating some sort of realism in the RP would be fun too. I'll be listing below the possible choices we can go with in terms of premise. Before I do that though, I just wanted to inform you that I'll be making use of information from the manga; those who only follow the anime might be spoiled. However, I won't be blatantly stating these facts out. So unless its actually mentioned, I don't think you'll even realize that you had actually read spoilers already. Once a plot is chosen, I'll be fleshing it out more to give everyone a more specific vibe to what I'm going for.

Call the Police!

• The death of All Might and the inability of society to create a new symbol of peace has caused the criminal world to go wild. Although still continuously producing heroes, crime rates have drastically increased. The government has deemed their over reliance on heroes as a mistake and has turned to the police force. They will be permitted to create a division of quirk-users, but only a few seasoned veterans/officials will be recruited. The rest of the members of this group will be the RPers; you'll be young individuals hoping to have a career within the police force. You'll be training along side them as a special task force that will be allowed to make use of your quirks as you deem fit. But to not stir up too much problems with the public, quirks that possess a large capacity of destruction will not be allowed to join. The story will be focused on some sort of police academy; when sufficiently trained, you'll be allowed to participate in cases and missions. The goal of the government is to create a team of eraserhead-like officers to lessen their excessive dependence on professional heroes. Aside from usual criminals, you'll also have encounters with vigilantes, aspiring heroes, and various types of villains.

Your Average Hero

• Examples of top-tier schools would include U.A. High and Shiketsu High, but what about the ones that aren't that popular? Well, that's what we're going to find out. It'll be your regular My Hero Academia RP but without the high-tech equipment and state of the art training facilities. Maybe we won't even have highly ranked heroes to guide us. But I suppose that wouldn't be a problem, right? The RPers will be a group of students enrolled at the heroics department of your typical high school. We just need to be a bit more ingenious when it'll come to training and developing our skills. In the past few years, there's no denying that there has been a gap in how successful graduates from these different schools have become. Hopefully, we'll be able to go against those from the top schools and show them that they can't let their guards down when we're around.

Bad Guys

• I know I used the word Hero, but what if we take the roles of the villains this time? For whatever reason you have, you despise the current status quo and the society that has been built upon it. So what do you wanna do about it? Cause chaos, kill, defeat some heroes, or something different all together? Honestly, this is an interesting story, but I'll definitely need everyone's cooperation if we go with this. This would be more sandbox-ish in a way since the goals of each individual would vary, hence what we do would also change based on what each RPer would want. You'll all be gathered by a single backer who will be your enabler, in a way. He'll be providing you with opportunities and the means to carry out whatever you plan on doing.

You are not normal. You're exceptional. A truly special individual with gifts that have the potential to surpass all others if you learn to use them wisely and to your advantage. I can do that for you. If you join me at St. Argos Academy you'll find yourself in a place built specifically to help you succeed along with hundreds of others your age and similarly gifted. Whoever you are now makes no difference to me. I am only concerned with who you might become and trust me when I say that you have the potential to become someone truly great. You have all received letters inviting you to the St. Argos Academy. It is settled in a private island in Japan and it's grounds are large and expansive and its facilities numerous and well stocked. You are invited to attend free of charge thanks to your enormous potential. What that means is open to interpretation but it reminds you that St. Argos also comes with its fair share oddities. Even with norm in today's society, those invited are usually interpreted as strange and unique, but is that any reason to pass it up? No, it's not. You are going because no matter what people say it is still one of the best schools hands down in Japan and like it or not, you have to go. No point fighting it. Call it fate, call it destiny, call it Sheila for I care because come next term you will be attending St. Argos Academy like it or not.

St. Argos Academy was founded by Samantha in the late nineteen-forties following the devastating second world war. During the reconstruction of Japan, Samantha spent a great deal of time in the countryside helping to rebuild the nation he had played a role in destroying. Guilt was what moved her to start up her academy on an island in the Eastern Coast of Tokyo, but it quickly changed over the years. Samantha recruited her old friends to help teach and began to scout out the gifted youth in Japan.

Why? That is a question that has been asked for years. The official reason is said to be Samantha’s desire to help preserve and protect the greatest humanity has to offer and to provide for them an environment that allows them to expand their abilities to that of their full potential. Indeed, over the years many excellent individuals have come from the hallowed halls of what became known as St. Argos Academy. However, there have also been numerous graduates that have gone on to do horrible, monstrous things. They all also thanked Samantha's academy for their training.

St. Argos Academy is a school for boys and girls of exceptional gifts and eccentricities no matter their moral standing or family background. They take in people from all walks of life no matter their history or skill set. It is for these reasons that the Academy has another name. The Zoo. A place for misfits and oddities with the occasional monster or exotic beast. Have no fear though, for whatever you arrive as you most certainly will leave as something more.

@Kreutzer Looking good dude. Just a reminder, the RP is set in Japan. Hopefully he doesn't have that much of a problem in terms of communicating with the rest.

@TaliPaendrag Light manipulation is kinda iffy; depends really on to the extent of what you actually can do.

@KaijuBaragon What do you mean by evil? As in devil's advocate or malice-filled?

What's the extent of his capabilities in iron manipulation? What are the abilities of the dog? I doubt its just, you know, a dog.

@Weird Tales Interesting, but I'd love to here the specifics about it. Will the gun take on the properties of what it was created from? How strong will the gun be? Any plans on how the quirk would improve in the future?

@olcharlieboi Yeah, it causes an increase in blood circulation. So when blood circulation is already increased, its release is hindered. If not, it'll just get depleted.

@olcharlieboi Yeah, like I mentioned earlier, they're two different entities. Aside from electrocution, they're effects kind of don't overlap.

I'm just particular with those things because I'm in the medical field. I ran this RP on a different site and had two different participants who had an Adrenaline-based Quirk and another that used Blood. So I'm considering them as different quirks. And to be completely honest, an increase in blood flow would cause a rise in one's blood pressure and actually hinder the release of adrenaline. Its a negative feedback of some sort.

@Demous Yeah, that's a given. Doesn't mean they can't try though lol. Not saying you'll be facing a dragon fanatic or anything. Just saying that its a definite possibility.
