However I also enjoy more laid-back roleplays such as anime themed stories, slice of life of any genre and all those. A mix is also very likable. Basically, I can do almost anything providing I am interested in the idea.
For me to be interested in an idea we have to have worked on it
together to some degree. I
HATE working on a RP idea on my own with little to no feedback from my partner. From experience, it leads to you or me falling out of interest.
Leading on to: What I expect of Roleplaying partners. Basically, I want you to have opinions and ideas of your own. If you simply nod your head and accept everything I propose for the plot without adding anything of your own or disagreeing, to me it means you'll lose interest since it means you are in a setting that is not yours
at all. being able to talk outside of roleplay, through another PM conversation for example, is a bonus to me. It means we can discuss what's gonna happen, or simply talk and chill. To make sure you read thus far, please in the PM you'll send to me include your favorite historical character. If you have none, include favorite video game, anime or book character!
Oh yes, forgot to mention. I roll High End Casual near Advanced. I want decent grammar, though I'll never ask for better than what I can offer myself, of course.
More importantly, NO one-liners. Those kills me. I want a good two paragraphs per posts minimum. More than that and we're in business. Ok. My opinion on this changed for the following condition
only: Sometimes when we are in the middle of characters interactions/discussions, information to write off of is scarce. On
those occasions, short posts can be beneficial!

Historical Modern - MxF / FxF - Fantasy]
Aquarium: Some rich fellow sees something, one day, that was thought of as Folklore: A Mermaid. He then uses a lot of resources to finally catch her and safely deliver her across half the world - alive - to a very large Aquarium complex that he built for this very purpose. He intends to display this new world's wonder to all. In exchange for a fee. Only... the Mermaid refuses to comply and almost kill one diver sent to tame her. The Aquarium proprietor then employ one of the best animal tamer known around the world to tame this new challenge. Only, she is no animal and has a mind of her own.
This was actually very complicated to write. Which is why it's very short and simple - let me explain. I wanted to Roleplay a Mermaid for such a long time, I have had way too many ideas about it and I can't seem to bring them all into one. So I wrote the general idea - inspired by the album Aquarius, from Haken, mostly - in the hope that was can discuss it further more later. Setting can be changed. Characters can be changed. We can start the Roleplay when the man/woman discover the Mermaid in the first place, or after, or when she's already caged. As long as I get to play the Mermaid, I can work it out.
PS: Not, it was not inspired by Little Mermaid in Any way.
PPS: Why do I want to Roleplay a Mermaid so bad? I have no clue. I just really want to Roleplay that Love Story.

Anime Style - FxF or FxM - Slice of Life - Modern]
Midst of Summer: No pre-made plot here - in its stead, I am going to write exactly what I am looking for. I wish for a high emotional Slice of Life Roleplay. I am looking for a partner (or maybe two partners for this one) that are willing and able to Roleplay multiple characters (at least two) with consistency. This will be school life. I want to have multiple characters and multiple relations going at the same time, intertwined. Basically to have to feel of a highly emotional manga. Heavy usage of Images to represent locations and musics accompanying the posts even if repeated per locations or moments, is encouraged.

Anime Style - FxF or FxM - Slice of Life - Futuristic]
Heart and Machinery: In a future where robotics is very advanced appears, out of the blue, a particularly advanced android who's synthetics makes it impossible to tell from a regular human if not for it's eyes lacking pupils. It possess intelligence AND emotions sufficient enough for it not to know that it itself is an android. It appeared in the middle of a city where a man/woman (depends if MxF or FxM) found it and decided to keep it, thinking it was a regular android at first. In fact, it is a very advanced prototype of android that somehow made it out of a secret facility and made it's way here before running out of power.

Anime Style - FxF - Slice of Life Gender-Bender: A man get changed into a woman by some X factor to be determined. He doesn't necessarily want his friends to know, but one of his childhood friend who he did not see for a long time ends up discovering it. His first love interest, although she rejected him a while ago and they haven't seen each others in a long time ever since. It just so happened she moved back in town. His friends always loved him as a very close friends, but the feeling could never be mutual because she actually likes girls and never told it to anyone.
This is meant to be a comic/romance/drama setup. I'd prefer you be the one who swapped, but I can play either roles!

Historical Medieval - Possible Fantasy]
The King is dead, Long live the Queen: The King of a very powerful kingdom dies, leaving no heir other than his young daughter. Barely in age, she must be taught how to rule before she can take to the throne. She'll need mentors, and a council is appointed to rule beside her until she is ready. - I see this one as a semi-Game of Throne-esque idea. Basically, it doesn't HAVE to be as dark as in Game of Throne, but I can easily see a few plots in there.[/s]

Anime Style - Eastern Lands]
Lands of unknown Wonders: The thrill of unknown roads in vast, mysterious and different cultural lands and kingdoms. Everything seems possible here, and little is known about customs and the way of life. A stranger arrives in these Eastern lands, for whatever reasons fate brought him or her here, and must now contend with where he or she now is.
A vague idea in a vague setting. This could become anything, from Wandering to nation to romance to anything else. It can be realistic just as it could well be fantasy. The one important thing is that it is set in the East. Ancient China/Korea/Japan-like countries or a mix of all of these. It can be the actual countries, or a fantasy world with look-alikes.
