Everyone in the lobby is relieved when Morgan wakes up, and helps to set the record straight for Michael. Felixter moves his paw back out of his pocket, away from one of the tools he reserves usually as a last resort.
"Glad to see you're regained your sense, at least. It's fine, though. We're experienced when it comes to people who have a sort of..'light switch' effect, regarding their modes of behavior." Ammi gives Michael one of her signature warm smiles as she moves over to place a paw on his shoulder. "That includes me, Felixter, and Sephie....oh, right...Sephie..."
"What happened? Ah man, you missed all the fun, Michael-kun! After you and Sephie passed out, some of our other friends here arrived." Meora gestures to Kayori and Mirui as she talks. "That's Kayori and Mirui. Or you could just call 'em 'Kay-kay the Half-Shadow' and 'Kaiju Shoujo', as I do sometimes."
"Um...I'd...prefer Kayori..." Kayori shakes her head with a chuckle.
"I don't care! As long as it's not a mean name." Mirui grins, wabing to Michael. "Hi new person! Are you a friend of Felixter's?"
"Mirui was created by me...so, forgive her odd behavior. Though she looks older, she's only about...3 or so." Felixter mutters to Michael.
"Anyway, yeah, our friends came, but then 3 of Nimika's sisters, Natasha, Numirra, and Noruani tried to capture Mirui, and we ended up having a big battle with them that ended just a bit ago. They were after their rebel sister over here, Nelodine. Y'know, the nicer witch in blue." Meora continues on with her recap. "There were some other enemies too, like this big huge thing I didn't really get a good look at. I know you beat it just now, though. So, now we're all kind of just here, waiting for the next horrific thing to happen."
"And if Sephie doesn't get better, that could be pretty soon..." Kayori murmurs with concern.
"Ah, yes. I was going to say that." Ammi nods toward the half-shadow girl, then turns back to Michael. "If you were in a different state of mind, you might not remember this...but was anything wrong with Sephie when you left the room you two were in? It seems she's just woken up, and she's doing...sort of the same thing you just did. Except...we know all too well what happens when Sephie is locked in her PTSD...too many lives were lost, back when I wasn't a goddess...." She sighs a bit regretfully.
"Maybe now that he's doing a bit better mentally, I can hate him less..." Lucille hums halfway to herself, eyeing Michael behind her veil.
"Oh. Right...um, also, this is Lucille." Felixter clears his throat, feeling obligated to introduce the woman who currently owns part of his soul, and what's left of his sister's. "Despite her looks and demeanor, by no means should you ever attack her."
"That's right." Lucille purrs back, moving to loom over Felixter, and place a hand on his head. "You could say I'm something of a...protector to these little children and their friends. Anywhere they go, I am already there. True, I own part of their souls and make them do arguably horrible things as payment...but I give them more power and less chances to lose their beloved comrades in return." Her smile is sweet, but it gives off an ominous feel...
"I suppose our first priority now, since the witches have retreated, is to find a way to keep Sephie from getting loose...though, honestly, I'm quite shocked she hasn't already. Could it be that Kiroketsu is actually doing his job for once?" Felixter has a light smirk on his face as he looks up towards the stairs nearby.
"Hmm...maybe there's more at work here..." Meora huffs. "...Ya think I should go up there and see what's up? I can handle a crazy Sephie, you know I can. You've seen me do it single-handedly. Y'know, because I'm just that awesome." She winks with a prideful grin.
Not too much later, Nimika returns to Shava, having dealt with her meeting with the Council quite well. She didn't get much of a conclusive answer, not yet, but her hopes that they may lend a hand at some point are high. She explained the situation and possible benefits to those high-class demons quite clearly. She's confident that she was quite convincing. However...as far as she knows, she was the only one to leave. The shadows hadn't accompanied her. She checked her own shadow on the ground over multiple times, but there wasn't a peep.
...Tch, as if she really cared in the first place. They were Shadows. They couldn't really get "stuck" anywhere...not unless they were fighting against Lights.
At any rate, Nimika has made her way into the forests of Shava, and down into the hideout of her sisters. She frowns a bit at them all.
"No Nelodine, hm?" Nimika sighs. "Pity. That girl has so much potential locked under that timid casing of hers...if we could just get her to realize how futile it is to break away from her own creator as she's done, and how little it will really change anything...maybe we could get her back."
"That's what we were talking about, sister." Natasha nods. "The Master has been telling us to focus our efforts there while he thinks up something new for Sephie's group...he says he's close to finding something brilliant! Ooh, I can't wait!"
"Nelodine is very gentle." Noruani gets into the conversation. "I mean, even I terrify that girl. She's so sensitive...I bet that with just a few mind games, we could have one of two outcomes."
"Two outcomes?" Numirra yawns.
"Well, yes. The first is that we could break her spirit, make her feel as if she's got no purpose with Sephie's group, and then rake her broken pieces back here to reassemble her into our wonderful sister once more." Noruani grins. "The second...well...is that we could break her spirit, make her feel as if she's got no purpose anywhere, and have her run off to go get killed by wildlife or herself."
"This is true...she's very fragile like that...though, I'd prefer it if we could rake her back in. The 6 witch sisters just wouldn't be good enough as a combined power without our #3..." Nimika replies, leaning against the cave wall. "I think mind games are definitely the way to go, I mean, they rarely aren't.....but, we need to utilize them just enough that we can get her back, and not so much that she runs off to go make herself disappear, so to speak."
"Well, you know the two to call for mind games and fearful illusions." Natasha grins. "Noru and I would be happy to carry out any orders from you, eldest sister..."
"In that case...I think I know just where we should start." Nimika gets an evil grin on her face, as do her other sisters, with the exception of the now-dozing Numirra.
