@Damo021 Yes, though it is suggested to work on your sheet and get out a beta in the OOC within a short time so we actually know you are doing something and not just "Claiming and then disappearing" as others have done.
@Dai Gurren Man There isn't really a designated "Asia" continent, though we have two blatant expies of Japan both located in the north-west (The orange one above the big purple blob is based off Shogunate Japan and the green island above that is based off Imperial Japan). This isn't really a proper Asia location though since those two are in proximity to Europeanesque nations like Ventium (Imperial Russia), Vincul (Essentially Not!European Union), the PRK (Soviet Union) and Yllendthyr (Elf British Empire).

Overall, I'd say Europe and Asia have been fused together into one continent and America and Africa have be fused into another continent (The "Old World" in the west and the "New World" in the east)

By the way, the dark/navy blue at the bottom of the western continent (Next to my small island there and below the brown, red and blue) is actually empty I think, since the previous claiming player there left.
Personally speaking, I actually don't mind his nation, on principle. An apocalyptic event destroying a nation to see the rise of a radical extremist version built on nazi superscience is actually more along the lines of a proper dieselpunk Nazi Germany in comparison to Moravia which honestly reminds me more of Fascist Italy.

The actual problem I have here is genre and tech creep. I know full well that the "Atom gun" is complete bullshit scientifically, however he could probably respond in kind on the things like flying battleships (Which is physically impossible, even with a 100% efficient lighter than air gas and "Mithril" light metals) and impossible genetics (like my Naga people). That said, the issue here is that we are doing a dieselpunk setting and from my long, long experience in NRPs, usually when you allow elements of more advanced genres in (Like a steampunk 18th century allowing WW1 stuff in eventually leads to Cold War gunships and cruise missiles, which happened once) it happens.

At the end of the day, I suggest to allow the GM to just give his verdict and move on.

my suggestion (Chemical weapon/bio-weapon or a less advanced nuclear disaster) still stands though.
@Romero Hold up there. Nuclear weapons/nuclear power does not exist yet. Though I see where you are going (physical cataclysmic/apocalyptic-like event causes rise of nazi-like fascist state, more so than the more simply fascist Moravia), that tech is a little above what we have established (otherwise everyone would have nukes and this world would look very very different, not to mention be a Cold War atompunk NRP instead).

Might I suggest you redo the nuclear apocalypse to a biological weapon/pandemic/chemical superweapon of some sort instead? (As chemical/biological weapons of mass destruction technically could exist in some form, though hard to deploy with the absence of ICBMs)
@Cyclone After reading back on the history, I retract my statements on hypocrisy. Your point of view (more realism, less absurdity) is consistent. I apologize for my assumption.

@Wernher My view is that the scales should probably be lighter, therefore justifying how the dragons can even fly slightly more and should be more heat resistant because it would make sense that a fire breathing creature would evolve skin resistant to its own weapon, however yeah, it should be weaker to Mithril. I'd say that a dragon's skin should be able to defend itself from small arms fire (pistols, bolt action rifles) but something like a 20mm autocannon should seriously hurting it, and things like a direct hit from a 77mm flak cannon or such should pierce its armour completely.

@Cyclone I agree on the point that there aren't enough weaknesses for the scales (And the supposed weakness in fact may act as a strength) and should probably be made weaker than mithril to physical force to compensate for its higher levels of heat resistance. (This in-universe would also explain why dragons aren't just curbstomping everything, since the creation of cannons would seriously threaten their continued existence)

however I don't really see you argument towards plausibility of dragons carrying any real weight, or even being hypocritical. If what you are saying is true, then the fairies should not have been allowed on similar grounds (Being realistically absurd), as well as my naga for being essentially genetically impossible.

And that's not even mentioning the obvious physics breaking technology we are already using, like the flying air dreadnoughts, or the just plain impractical like the land dreadnoughts.
@Willy Vereb Noting Kavuria, I will have to be an autarkist and develop my own nationally produced (but more costly) Kavuria since there is no way in hell Avalia would sell Kavuria to Ceresia (or Ceresia buy for that matter).

@Combo move It'll be interesting to see where you go with your nation. Since I am right next door, I will be watching closely xD.

@Murtox Sorry to see you go. Welp, now the Old Continent is free again for another fully developed nation. I hope someone comes along and takes it, or one of previous guys who stated interest, like @Claw2k11 takes it (If he is even still here).
@Combo move Kinda. From what I have seen, WW2-era jets along the lines of the Messerschmitt Me 262 or the experimental Flying wings (Horten Ho 229, etc) are allowed. The jet fighters seem to be Yllendthyr's (Elf empire) speciality, though other nations can have them I think.

Overall, the RP is essentially WW1/WW2 dieselpunk "Wunderwaff" technology set with fantasy species but no actual magic (though lots of pseudoscience).
@Combo move Yeah, it's still open. Just get the most recent version of the map and put on your claim (with paint or such) and start on your Nationsheet :)
Fixed the Ceresian Sea map positions.
