[The park is a wide expanse of open ground, interspersed with the occasional oak, birch, or cherry tree. While there is a winding path down the center that is illuminated by streetlights, the majority remains shrouded in darkness. The field is adjacent to a large lake with a pier off of which many enjoy a spot of fishing or other water sports. At the moment, there is a man night fishing at the end, with his tackle and a large bucket sitting beside him. Several of the town's namesakes lie in piles, sleeping on the grass with tiny sides moving in and out peacefully as they slumber, creating a terranean cloudscape.
Among them winds a young man, black case bouncing heavily against his leg with every other step. He looks cautiously out at the pier, and seems relieved to see that its only inhabitant has his back to him. His aim is clearly the most densely forested section of the park, darker and more secluded.
Once he arrives, he moves with a purpose, directly towards a medium-sized rock; one just large enough to serve as a seat. Evidently, that is what he's here for, as he sits upon it and place the mysterious case he has been carrying in front of him. Unlocking it, he removes a large wooden instrument and matching bow. The body of the instrument, a cello, is battered and looks like it has seen better days. The bow obviously needs a re-hairing.
Nonetheless, when he closes his eyes and
begins to play, a beautifully haunting refrain emanates from just below the bridge. His body sways as he plays, left hand striking notes swiftly and vibrating as he holds, releasing emotion through song. His right hand adroitly sweeps the bow across the strings, increasing in fervor as he plays. As the melody grows, an audience gathers. Many of the previously sleeping rabbits have followed the sound to him, and now sit watching without his knowledge. Finishing his first song, he looks up, seeing them.]
W-what are you guys doing here? Get away! Don't...don't watch me.*gets up and shoos them, then wipes a spot of sweat from his forehead and reseats himself, preparing his instrument for the next song*
