Yua smiled to Ellie as she rose from her seat, and checked her backpack to make sure she had everything. Only a moment later she looked at Yua's bags with a weird look in her eye, and with a hollow smile she asked if she needed any help with her things. Yua became self-conscious once more as she looked at the others who where not too far ahead of them and she realized that she was the only one to bring so much to the school. She looked to the ground, and shook her head.
“No, I selfishly brought all of this to school so I should be the one to carry it all to my dorm.” A frown was on her face, and her eyes darkened as she watched the grass under her feet sway back and forth. She brought up her face with a hollow smile of her own trying to hide her shame from the girl she wished she could call friend.
'It's happening again. She hates you for everything you brought. You're selfish and you're first attempt to become friends with this girl has failed because of what you are.' her mind shot at her, the words scrapping against her soul and causing her body to feel cold. She turned away quickly as she went to grab her things to bring to school. She strapped them on like she had before and grabbed the handle of the last one, making sure she had everything she turned to Ellie once more, trying to have a genuine smile on her face she motioned towards the path and the graveyard.
“Let's go Ellie!” She gave the girl a quick wave with her eyes-closed smile and then moved to the path and followed behind the others, being just about the last one at that moment it seemed to her. She picked up her speed a little wanting to make it to school so she could stop feeling embarrassed and full of shame. She took most of her time looking to the ground as she walked her way to the school as her mind berated her.
'You idiot. You shouldn't have shown off, you shouldn't have tried to sneak up on her. Hell you came off like a perv. And being such a selfish rich girl. She hates you now. Just like every girl hates you. The only “friends” you make are the puppets you create out of the men you use.'Her mind continued with the only thing really breaking her out of her own head being the commotion that was now going on at the front gate. Some guy was telling the American that a toll was needed for them to pass, or they could simply miss class instead. She didn't like where this was going, and a fight on the first day here wouldn't look good for the strange American boy that was in their little “merry” band of students. She stopped right next to the American and came as close as she felt was needed for her powers and looked to the “leader” of the group.
“Oh come on. You'll let us pass this time around, won't you?” she batted her eyes at the big guy, and worked her charm to try and avoid a bad situation from happening. She gave him a seductive smile and turned her body to the side with her free hand on her hip to give her powers maximum effectiveness.
