Bio

The name's ShadowVentus, but you can call me Ven. Fantasy RPs have always been my genre, but I'm always open to trying new genres and all that jazz. Oh, and I don't know about anyone else here, but in my opinion, Atlus makes awesome games! PERSONA!

It took a Magikarp Ritual and chucking of said fish at me, but I have finally posted!
Taka's "Dive to the Heart"

Falling...straight down into a seemingly endless abyss...

This feeling was all too familiar to the Nobody. Again, just like before, a ray of light would appear, enveloping his being. However, rather than develop in front of him, Taka could feel the warmth of the Light from behind him, its presence growing stronger as he drifted further downward. Soon enough, his body would safely land on the platform. He simply lays there at first, the Light lapping about his coat, gently washing unto him like waves on a beach. However, upon feeling another presence appear beside him, he slowly sits up, the Light clinging to him, feeling almost waterlogged.
He was surprised to see himself, garbed in completely different clothing. The other Taka was sitting upon the edge of the platform, simply staring out into the void. However, upon sensing movement behind it, the apparition looks right at Taka, a smirk forming upon his face. “You’re finally here...you’re rather late, you know. So late, in fact, that you’re probably confused as to what you’re seeing…” It says, turning to look back out towards the void. Taka moves towards the apparition, sitting beside it. “Who are you? ...Why do you look like me?” The Nobody inquires. The apparition chuckles in response, looking over at Taka from the corner of its eyes. “I am a Remnant of who you used to be. I’ve been residing within you for quite some time now. However, because of the darkness that had grabbed ahold of you, I was unable to fully awaken. Ergo, your memories, the ones of your life before you became a Nobody, have been withheld from you.” Taka silently thinks on what has been said, baffled by what this representative of his memories has to offer. “What must I do to set you free..?” He inquires.
The Remnant smiles, swinging its legs to and fro. “Well, it’s quite simple really. You have to make a choice. The choice between Light and Darkness. The seed of despair that was planted within you when you first lost your heart is the reason you’re even able to wield the darkness in battle. Your true path was one that is bathed in the Light, bringing hope to all. However, do not let the actions of your past influence this decision. The choice is yours and yours alone.” It explains.
Taka looks over at the Remnant, soaking in the reality of the situation. “...Neither path is mine to walk. They are two sides of the same coin..I shall forge my own path, using both Light and Darkness as my guides…” Taka pauses briefly as a memory flickers to life in his mind. The memory of his title. “I will walk the path...of a Twilight Knight.” The unlocking of this memory causes the Remnant to smile happily, dissipating into fractals of Light, starting from his feet, the fragmentation working its way upward. “A fine choice for a warrior of your caliber…” With this being said, the Remnant’s form disperses completely, only to suddenly reform as a new keyblade. Equipping himself with it, Taka eyes the weapon curiously, knowing fully well what it is meant to represent.

Timeskip

As these events transpire within Taka, the katana he had been pierced by in his fight, whether it still be plunged into him or removed and laid to rest nearby, begins to glow, pulsating with Light...

Morgan now simply awaits for the woman to answer Dremmick, holding off from making any moves until she shows any sign of resistance.
@Letter Bee

I'm present. Since I have off from work today, I definitely should have an opportunity to complete and put my post for today. I do apologize if it disturbs the action at all, since it's just a sort of update on Taka's condition.
@booksmusicanime

ANYTHING BUT THAT! I'll have a post up when I've woken up in a few more hours, given that it's 2:40 in the morning and I start back up school today, technically.
@Letter Bee

Despite my lack of presence as of late, my interest has not waned in the slightest! I hope to have a post up in due time in regards to Taka and his state of mind.
I apologize for not having a post up immediately. In my planning for spring break, Fortuna doesn't seem like she desires to smile upon me. I've been charged with a false claim of truancy at my school. As a result, I've been tied up in the process of getting my name cleared. If I don't have my name cleared by tomorrow, I can kiss just about everything that defines fun goodbye this break. Funny how my luck works...oh well, I certainly don't see a point in giving up now.

"It was WAAAAY too easy to beat! That was so short! So boring!"
With that, Persephone starts walking towards Inigo and Morgan. "You guys alright? You looked preeeetty cool out there!"

Before either of them can respond to Persephone, their father’s shadow begins to laugh, its eyes becoming an eerie yellow. “You want a challenge, don’t you….fine, I’d be more than happy to indulge you...Let the games..BEGIN!” The shadow builds in power before completely transforming into its true form, a dragon. However, since it only partakes in a fraction of Michael’s power, its appearance is affected, seeming more like an undead, rotting avatar being held together by shadow stitches rather than the fearsome dragon the original truly is. “Don’t let its looks fool you. That shadow is still a powerful force to be reckoned with…” Morgan warns Persephone, hoping she won’t become overconfident. “You’re rather lucky, milady. Father doesn’t challenge others very often. As for why that is...well, I suspect you’ll find out soon enough.” Inigo remarks. “We’ll support you as much as we can, but in the end, it’s between you and him.” He finishes, he and his sister preparing themselves before the shadow creates an impregnable barrier, separating the trio from the rest of the group.

“Hm?....Oh….ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.” Persephone watches Michael’s shadow transform, blinking slowly after he’s finished.
“Look what you did now!” Ruitsume cries.
“S-scaryyy…” Kanashiko shuffles behind Ruitsume.
“It’s a big spook!” Persephone grins.
“IT’S A LITTLE MORE THAN JUST ‘A BIG SPOOK’, PERSEPHONE, CHRIST!” Ruitsume is obviously, slowly being driven mad by Persephone’s carefree attitude towards danger.
Persephone looks over to Inigo and Morgan, listening to what they have to say. She laughs a little. “Oh, I know he’s a force to be reckoned with. Just because I don’t look like I’m shaking in my boots doesn’t mean that I’m treating him like he’s nothing. It’s just that I prefer to treat each battle as something fun and exciting, y’know?”
“I apologize. My friend is delusional, and hardly takes anything seriously.” Ruitsume explains with a sigh.
“Heheheheh….maybe I am.” Persephone turns her face to the ground, her voice changing to an...eerier tone.
“Oh no...I don’t like this...we might lose her again…” Kanashiko whimpers.
“Who knows? Maybe...he’ll win. Maybe I’ll win. Maybe...we’ll both lose?” Persephone’s grin becomes more sinister, growing as hundreds of light orbs begin floating around her. “Or...maybe we’ll ALL lose!” She looks back up at her opponent, the pupils of her eyes now cat-like slits. The orbs turn into a barrage of regular and colored pencils, which soar at her target like little arrows. After they’ve been launched, she quickly draws her pencil-sword from her bag and pounces at the beast that is now Michael’s shadow.
“Don’t worry Kana.” Ruitsume mutters in a grave tone, aiming for only the small witch in blue to hear her. “If we do lose her again...I’ll handle it.”
The shadow dragon roars as the pencils pierce through it. However, rather than sounding pained, it seems enraged, a majority of the pencils actually breaking when they make impact on its form. The others that managed to stick to the dragon are quickly removed, absorbed by its shadows and repurposed. The witch now has her own magic being used against her, orbs of darkness forming around the dragon, volleys of shadow-corrupted black pencils now being released in her direction. Considering that she is now in midair, Persephone may have a rough time getting out of the way of this attack.

By thinning out the shadow connected to her comrade, Morgan had permitted Dremmick a little more movement. Moving to stand beside Terra, the young tactician mustered up the most intimidating smile of career, looking down upon the women as she redirected the leftover shadows from Dremmick's tether into the woman's bindings, potentially cutting off the bloodflow in her wrists and ankles with how tight they were now. "I suggest you comply with my friends here. If you thought he was bad, you won't like dealing with me." Morgan remarks.
