Bio

Okay, let's see; I started roleplaying by post way back when that meant writing a turn down by hand, sticking it in an envelope and sending it to a GM through the plain mail, not email. Games I remember with fondness are Saturnalia, Amaranth, Absolute Heroes....

I'm a wannabe writer and love inventing and developing characters and worldbuilding. Fantasy, horror (supernatural) and superhero are probably my favourite genres. I'm not adverse to a bit of cyberpunk or space opera, but hard sci-fi with lots of technobabble leaves me cold.

I can be found lurking on the Nano site or YouTube when I'm not spending time exclusively in the real world and have the same username everywhere, so if you see a Shaitarn on another site feel free to wave.

That's fine; feel free to let me know your ideas, either here or through PM.
@DemonMiyu is that an invitation or an insult?
I love those books! Superheroes and supernatural - yeah! I am in, in, in!
More ideas added and adapted.
Nice to see some potential interest expressed. I'll keep this up a few more hours in hopes of attracting more interest and then get the start up sorted out.
A group of villains have raided the many worlds of the multiverse and captured a number of superhumans, both heroes and other villains, taking them back to their base to drain them of their powers and add them to their own. The sidekicks (or apprentices) of these captured supers have joined forces and travelled to this base to recover their captured mentors and restore their powers before these uber-villains conquer their homeworlds.

Can the young budding heroes/villains survive, or will their temporary alliance be destroyed before they can take on these villains?

Players take on the roles of the sidekicks and/or the uber-villains. Sidekicks and villains can be fandom characters, original sidekicks/enemies of pre-existing characters (you want to play the Joker’s fictional sidekick, the Punster? No problem) or totally original characters. Characters can be from any sort of fictional background – traditional superhero, fantasy, horror, whatever you can think of (no reason why Merlin or Van Helsing shouldn’t have a sidekick).

I’ve got more details, but will see if anyone’s interested before creating a wall of text.
Sorry, I'll get a post up tomorrow - I've just been too busy tonight!
Character number 2 - just for fun. Hopefully the picture link works this time.

Name: Zhai

Universe: Forgotten Realms (Demon Stone computer game)

Appearance:

Personality: Zhai is adventurous, impetuous and opportunistic; she delights in using her talents. Never able to feel comfortable in the wood elf village she was raised in, she took to adventuring like a duck to water. She has a keen sense of curiosity and a gleefully mischievous sense of humour, frequently appearing as sarcasm. When confronted with something dangerous she can be cold-blooded and merciless.

Powers/Skills: Incredibly agile; can perform any kind of jumps, backflips, somersaults you care to mention.
Can hide in the smallest patch of shadow.
Has other thief skills – picking locks, climbing, etc.
Skilled knife thrower.
Capable with her main weapons - a pair of large curved daggers.

Brief Bio: A half drow/half wood elf, Zhai grew up in the wood elf village of Cedarleaf but was unable to feel she ever fit in, particularly as she was teased mercilessly by the other children due to her half-drow heritage. When her parents were killed in a raid on the village she left and learned the skills of a rogue. Was briefly captured by orcs raiding a town before being rescued by the human fighter Rannek.

Equipment: Two large curved daggers worn sheathed across her back.
A whole load of throwing knives – at least a dozen.
A ‘ring of jumping’ that augments her already considerable thief skills by enabling her to jump higher and farther than she could previously.
Basic stuff like lock picks.

Other: Nope; nothing.
Name: Viktor

Universe: Underworld films

Personality: Cold, cunning and utterly ruthless. Viktor is capable of projecting an impression of charm and friendliness (in a high-handed superior sort of way), but he is equally capable of betraying or sacrificing anyone if he feels it necessary. He believes vampires are superior and their purity must be maintained. He deals with threats coldly and efficiently; basically, get in his way and he’ll kill you.

Powers/Skills: Strength – Viktor is strong enough to pick up a charging lycan in one hand, break its neck and fling the body at a wall hard enough to crack it (the wall, not the body).
Agility – being a vampire, he’s capable of lots of agile jumping up walls stuff (not that he does this in the films, but other vampires do).
Weapons expert – he’s been using a sword and knives for centuries, so he’s an expert with them.
Limited invulnerability – to kill him you need sunlight, decapitation or the destruction of the heart or brain.

Brief Bio: Viktor was a Hungarian warlord born sometime in the 5th century; when he was nearing death he was turned by a powerful vampire and became one of the most powerful vampire elders. Fighting a running battle with the lycans (werewolves), he spared the life of the first shapeshifting lycan, Lucian, and brought him up as a slave in his own castle. He regretted that when his own daughter became pregnant with Lucian’s child and was executed by the order of the vampire council. His private grief at her death and eventual revolt of the lycan slaves has led to him starting a war of genocide against the lycans (I’m imagining this being between the end of the third film and the start of the first).

Equipment: Wearing a black shirt and trousers and a long red leather coat that is tough enough to count as light armour. Carrying his preferred weapons of two daggers and a longsword.
