The Mad Hatter
Hatter watched as the lady appeared - no - She literally appeared out of thin air. He passed it off as his mind playing tricks on him. The woman - Godmother Frey - explained the daily situations in the academy. When she said "Roomates", Hatter swore aloud, and apparently a couple students had heard him, as they glanced at him. He ignored them his to the best of his ability. Roommates? Hatter sighed. The last thing he wanted was to share a room with someone again. At the orphanage, he'd earned his own room, being one of the older kids. He'd not shared a room with anyone for almost two and a half years. He prayed to dear God that it wasn't that magician kid or the overly-perky guy... The big, scary dude... that would be okay. Seemed like he didn't like talking - that's exactly what Hatter was wanting. When Godmother Frey concluded her speech, she vanished in a spew of purple mist and bubbles. So he hadn't been imagining her appearance... Honestly, the fact that the lady had just performed magic didn't bother Hatter. He'd always figured that magic existed... otherwise, how would he be able to explain that one time with his Hat? How else could he explain his hat being able to switch forms - Fedora, Beanie, Ball-cap, any kind of hat... When everyone pooled inside, Hatter pushed through the crowds, hoping to get to his room first. When he found his room, he looked at his room mate - Hatter almost cursed again... He slid his hand up to his fedora and straightened it... Oh joy. Overly-Perky boy...
So uh how do the students find out this information? Is it in the letter or will the receive it from Glenda Frey?
Anyone who wants to can try to talk to hatter... I'm just not promising he'll talk back xD
Abram - Baton Rouge - Samantha Abram listened for signs of pursuers as Samantha peeled out of the driveway. He hoped and prayed that she hadn't left any skid marks - skid marks could give away which direction they took. He heard Samantha's voice, filled with pain. He glanced at her, and he saw that her face was hard, and he could tell she was close to crying. "Samantha, don't worry..." He said. "I will give everything I've got to protect you and the others. You're safe with us." He assured her. Safety, he found as they arrived at the house, was very relative. He jumped out of the car, feet setting hard on the ground. His nerves were still racing from the mall encounter. "Abram!" Leah shouted, bounding down the backyard porch steps. "Abram! Jess is gone!" Abram's brow furrowed. "What? What do you mean?" "She's gone! We can't find her anywhere!" Abram checked, literally, every part of the house. "Jessalyn?" He called. After almost 20 minutes of searching, Abram found himself back where they'd started - in the back yard. Abram swore, angrily. "Alright... C'mon, Abe..." He said, simply thinking out loud. "C'mon Jess, where'd you go?" He began running through the possibilities. Jessalyn wasn't stupid, she wouldn't walk off without telling anyone. She knew Ben could act up any time, and if she was on her own, she could get trapped by walkers. He looked around the back yard several times. He couldn't see any signs of a scuffle. And if there had been a scuffle of some sort, Leah or Turisa would've heard it. "Turisa... I need your help..." He said, looking back at the woman. "I... I can't find anything. You're a cop. My MP days were years back and I'm rusty." "I just don't see signs of anything."
I posted with Rumplestiltskin - and if you didn't see my note in the CS, you won't like this character... Probably XD Don't hate me, I'm actually a really nice guy :P
Rylan "Rumpled" Stiltskin
Rylan, to say the least, was rather annoyed by all the kids that began showing up. He'd become slightly bored, waiting on whatever they were waiting for. Then he saw the big guy roar at the blonde girl. He cocked an eyebrow, and stood from where he sat on the steps. The black haired girl - Belle Sinclair - took to calming him down. This could be interesting... Rylan reasoned with himself. The guy was obviously very intimidating towards the others - so would he be the top dog among the new students? Well that just didn't sit well with Rylan. Let's see how far you'll go... Seeing a chance to present himself, Rylan pushed through some student, shoving some blonde kid out of the way. "C'mon now, guys..." He said, stepping to the middle of the circle that had formed around the big guy. "Ms. Sinclair is right - you're among friends." He said, giving a fake smile. "Come on now, big guy... what do you say? Wanna be my friend?" He proposed, purposely speaking in a taunting tone. "Let's see, do you like magic tricks?" He reached into his pocket and fished out a bronze penny from a jumble of loose coins. "Let's see..." He flicked the coin up like he was doing a coin toss. All the while, he watched the guy's eyes - was he getting angrier? He caught the coin and closed his fingers around. He blew on the fist and opened his hand- the coin was gone. "Ta-da!" He looked to some of the students - obviously unamused. "Not good enough for you guys? Tough crowd..." He reached over, placing his hand beside Belle's ear. He snapped his finger and the coin appeared in his fingers. "Well what do you know - Belle Sinclair! Rich in coins and in beauty." He gave her a mischievous wink, which he was certain she wouldn't find attractive, but that was the point. He pocketed the coin and stared dead-on at the big guy. "Did ya like that?" He put on another fake smile, daring the guy to get angrier.
So, if you don't mind, I think I'm going to make rumplestiltskin after all. I'll edit with the CS as soon as I'm done. EDIT:
Abram - The Mall - Magnus/Samantha The man's words didn't bode well with Abram. He had backed himself and Samantha into the store and peeked from behind his cover, enough to hold gaze with the man. Silence fell over the place as Abram mapped out his plan. The back door - their only chance of escape - was about twenty feet away. It was obvious what these guys wanted, and Abram was positive that their survival wasn't ensured if they went along. Abram glanced at his pistol, then to one of the armed men. Their positions worked slightly to his advantage. They flank the left and right sides, but they weren't actually surrounding them. Barely audible, he whispered to Sam. "When I give you the signal, run for the back door." He silently slid the car keys to her. "Start it so that when I jump in, we you can drive us out of here." His plan unraveled perfectly. He fired a shot at the nearest gunman, and gave Samantha a hard shove towards the door. All the men recoiled and hit the floor. He was close behind her as they burst into the back room. He slammed the door to the back room shut, locking it. "Go!" He shouted, but Sam was already out the door. He heard the car start up and he bolted out after her. He jumped into the passengers seat. "Go, we shouldn't have to reroute if we can get out of here before the see where we went."
I posted a thing!:D Did it suck? :O Question: I'm assuming its the beginning of the school year, and it's the end of the summer season, right? Just trying to figure out what kind of weather they'd have right now.
The Mad Hatter
As the cab driver pulled up to the driveway, a lump formed in Hatter's throat. He found himself staring down the driveway at an enormous castle with red roofing. The cab driver gave a high pitched whistle as if he was reading Hatter's thoughts. "That's some place, kid..." Hatter raised an eyebrow and pursed his lips. "Aye..." He muttered. He got out of the cab and stood on the asphalt. He reached in and grabbed his black rolling suitcase and sat it on the asphalt. He then grabbed his banjo and mandolin from the back seat. "Th-thanks for the ride, mate." He said in his Irish accent, and handed him the allotted sum for the ride. The cab drove of and hatter started his walk down the long driveway. He adjusted the strap of his banjo case to rest on his shoulder as observed the surroundings. He'd received an invitation to this school, and the people in his foster home had insisted he go. They'd told him it would be "a good learning experience" and "a chance to meet new friends". The bitter part of Hatter was sure they just wanted to get rid of him... It was always the same thing at each school, and they knew that. Hatter never had any friends - and he probably never would. As he reached the castle, he saw a growing crowd of teenagers, standing at the steps, looking up at an elderly woman with a kind smile on her face. Yep, he was late... Hatter almost sighed in annoyance - attention for being late was exactly what he didn't want... Yet, he felt the gazes of the other teens shift to him, and he wished the ground would just swallow him up. He set his jaw and did the best to ignore them, standing his suitcase upright and setting his mandolin case on the ground. His fingers curled around the shoulder straps of his banjo case and he waited for... whatever was supposed to happen.
