The Mad Hatter
Hatter watched as the lady appeared - no - She literally appeared out of thin air. He passed it off as his mind playing tricks on him. The woman - Godmother Frey - explained the daily situations in the academy. When she said "Roomates", Hatter swore aloud, and apparently a couple students had heard him, as they glanced at him. He ignored them his to the best of his ability.
Roommates? Hatter sighed. The last thing he wanted was to share a room with someone again. At the orphanage, he'd earned his own room, being one of the older kids. He'd not shared a room with anyone for almost two and a half years. He prayed to dear God that it wasn't that magician kid or the overly-perky guy... The big, scary dude... that would be okay. Seemed like he didn't like talking - that's exactly what Hatter was wanting.
When Godmother Frey concluded her speech, she vanished in a spew of purple mist and bubbles. So he hadn't been imagining her appearance... Honestly, the fact that the lady had just performed magic didn't bother Hatter. He'd always figured that magic existed... otherwise, how would he be able to explain that one time with his Hat? How else could he explain his hat being able to switch forms - Fedora, Beanie, Ball-cap, any kind of hat...
When everyone pooled inside, Hatter pushed through the crowds, hoping to get to his room first. When he found his room, he looked at his room mate - Hatter almost cursed again... He slid his hand up to his fedora and straightened it... Oh joy.
Overly-Perky boy...
