Rumor has it that he attempted to desert, but got torn apart inside by REDACTED before he could get out. He’s one of the oldest Faceless around though and he’s been at it for years, so I see why they kept him. It’s not all that strange for a Faceless either, but he was an ace in day. 60606 was selected for the FTMAP at the age of 15, which she finished exactly one year later, entering Faceless Squadron 12. She specialized in ground combat using airborne mecha, which was a unique skill among her peers, to say the least. One of her first assignments was on the Joint Front, where she made an admirable service record for herself fighting against both extraterrestrials and the occasional Federation of Satea skirmishers. However, over the six months after she joined the squadron, her fellow squadron members slowly were either transferred out after incidents or were even lost in combat, leaving her alone until she was soon transferred to Faceless Squadron 9.

Her time with this squadron was much longer, mostly due to it being deployed in a much calmer area, mostly doing wargames and training exercises, but following a transfer to a hot zone of the Remonish-Satean border, the same fate that Squadron 12 met befell Squadron 9 and by the time half the squadron was gone, it was put on standby while replacements were found. 60606 was transferred six months ago to the Principality’s military attaché group in the Empire of Yuka and Wyd, serving as a trainer for the Empire’s fledgling airborne mecha force and posing as the daughter of the head of the military attaché. With the bubbling hostilities between the two nations of the Satean continent threatening to boil over, she has been transferred back into active Faceless duty, now with Faceless Squadron 7.

Note: We’ve tried to group her with squadron members who don’t know of her past history and we appear to have been successful. We’ve also spoken with 60606 (God, I hate saying her damn number aloud, who the hell thought it was a good idea to let the Faceless choose their own ID numbers?) about not revealing her past history and she is, as always, cooperative. As a reward, the quartermaster of wherever she’s stationed is required to freely supply her with two packs of Royal Spark military-issue cigarettes a day.

Personality Traits
60606 has at once a personality that warrants caution and admiration. While mischievous, seemingly a rebel, fiercely independent, self-centered and carefree in her duties, she follows orders with no hesitation. What’s worrying about the latter is how well she follows her orders: she stops at nothing to achieve said orders and is apparently totally apathetic to all collateral damage. While she will always protect her squadron mates, it is believed that she only does it for her own good. However, outside of her duties, she is fairly sociable, though some specialists have suggested it’s only to keep herself occupied. She constantly smokes, going through a pack on a normal day and often exceeding her allowed two packs on a particularly dull or exciting day.

Note from Maintenance: Can someone please get this girl to stop smoking in the cockpit of her mech? The electronics that get damaged are cheap, but it’s a pain in the ass to replace them all the time. If she doesn’t stop, she can do it herself, damn it, I hate the smell in there.

She is fluent in Yukan, Satean and Remonish and often spends her free time either reading or browsing the Internet, when allowed.

Specialization: Airborne Mecha

Name of Machine: M-13/09 “Diamond Axe”

Profile: Originally a standard-issue M-13 “Diamond”, 60606 crashed it during a wargame between various Faceless squadrons a year ago and decided to have the legs be replaced with those of a surplus M-09 “Axe” and the flier core with that of a long obsolete M-02 “Dancer”, which she personally believes is more reliable than the more recent, artificially augmented cores. Other than these modifications and a modified paintjob, her mech is a stock M-13.

Modifications:

• The legs from an M-09 make the mech heavier and less maneuverable in flight, but more protected in the legs, more maneuverable on the ground and allows the pilot to make rougher and more sudden landings without fear of damaging the lower half.
• The fully organic core from an M-02 lacks the artificial tampering made to allow faster acceleration and easier takeoffs using electromagnetic catapults, but 60606 believes it is more reliable and it is in fact more energy efficient.

Alright, so today will be quite the day of me writing for this. I'll be creating the character sheet for the squadron's commander, who will not be actually flying with the rest of the time, as he's been grounded for... reasons.... as well as my own character, along with adding to information in the OP -- as I promised to do yesterday but I got very distracted, my deepest apologies to you all -- and, finally, preparing our first mission, which, if everyone is ready and all goes well, should begin before September. Thank you all for your continued interest in my RP, even if things are a bit slow, I'll do anything I can for it to, excuse the pun, take off!

@Silverwind Blade, to answer your questions, I should have mentioned this (and I will be working on the OP this afternoon, I'm taking notes on what to add), but it's a lot like the SPARTAN program from Halo. The Faceless are totally abducted, deaths faked, etc, to the point of it probably being very much illegal in the country's domestic laws and most definitely in international law. No one but the Faceless really know of this though the MOD is very careful about things like that getting out. The thing is, while the Principality makes the Federation out to be the source of all the world's evils, their record isn't exactly clean either. Children are abducted based on meeting certain criteria though.
