O C C U P A T I O NThe "official" priest of Root River.
P E R S O N A L I T Y T R A I T S- Empathetic: As a result of his background, Oliver is among the first to identify others' problems. He tends to offer help as well.
- Materialistic: Oliver is a fan of money and expensive gifts. This is likely thanks to his impoverished childhood. He is also frugal.
- Optimistic: In attempts to hide his self-loathing and depression, Oliver maintains the front as a "happy-go-lucky" person.
- Idiot: Slow, stupid, "not very sharp". Generally speaking, Oliver is far from intelligent and severely lacks common sense.
- Dishonest: Oliver keeps the front that he is truly happy and a believer in the Harvest Goddess when neither are true.
- Depressed: He suffers from chronic depression. Oliver is quick to hide this under perpetual optimism, however.
- Generous: Oliver doesn't have many personal possessions, but he's willing to share or give whatever he can.
- Affable: As a priest, Oliver is easy to approach. He is usually the first to strike a conversation with someone.

S C H E D U L EOliver is usually active from 8 am to 11 PM. He spends his mornings in various places throughout Root River, but he prefers to visit the local red bridge in hopes of seeing the Harvest Goddess. Much of his later morning and afternoon hours seem to be dedicated to visiting the various businesses of Root River save for the feasting hall which is saved for the evening. His Sundays are entirely spent in the small, makeshift chapel on his homestead. There are breaks in his schedule where he spends time caring for his rabbit, horse, and visiting residents as well.

D O Y O U B E L I E V E I N M A G I C ? On the surface, Oliver is a devout believer and follower in the teachings of the Harvest Goddess. He preaches her teachings, appears to hold belief in the Harvest Sprites, and actively warns against falling victim to The Rot. He is generally considered to be Root River's guiding knowledge on spiritual affairs thanks to his role as the town's priest. In spite of that, however, he is very much a non-believer in his own mind and has become jaded towards the Harvest Goddess throughout the years. He still, however, continues to spread her message and hopes to help others through it.
F A M I L Y M E M B E R SOliver is the youngest of six and the son of two farmers. He rarely speaks of his family and does not appear to be close with any of them. They are not native to Root River and are said to live "far away". His parents, Anna and Curtis Reed, occasionally send letters with unknown contents. He has four older sisters and two older brothers. Little are known about them save for their names: Charlotte, Emily, Cheryl, Charity, Jack, and Henry.
A N I M A L F R I E N D SHis best friends consist of a Flemish Giant rabbit and a Shire horse. Their names are Cinnamon and Storm, respectively. Cinnamon is light brown to tan in appearance while Storm is mostly black save for the lower half of his legs and his snout.
H O M E L I F EOliver resides on lot six which is considered to be one of the outskirts of Root River. He lives alone and has very little furniture in his humble abode. Save for Sundays, his home life is mostly quiet and he can be rarely seen at home. Public appearances aside, staying at home for too long usually causes him to feel restless and anxious. He has a small stable for his horse and usually conducts sermons from a makeshift chapel that is around the size of a barn on Sundays.
S T O R YOliver had a hectic and unpleasant upbringing. This was thanks to the poverty, depression, and frequent famines that slowly whittled away his faith in the Harvest Goddess. Many hungry days led him onto a path of helping others in whatever way that he could. He had moved to Root River four years prior to the Roleplay and this has since allowed him to experience a fresh start in life. He has since dedicated his time to helping the locals in whatever means possible and chasing rumors in hopes of catching a glimpse of the Harvest Goddess for himself. Perhaps that would be enough to restore his faith in her.
