[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Seeing Devon was okay brought a small smile to Ember's face, but Selena remained in the same state. "Selena... come on, look, Devon's fine, we're all fine, all because of you..." Selena then completely cut her off. "It's not that!" She screamed, looking up finally with tears still in her eyes. "You have no clue what danger you were really in... when I did that... I wasn't... me..." She looked down to the ground. "When I fight, I turn into... someone else, someone who doesn't care about the risk, if an attack will work I do it..."

Ember was slightly shocked, this was far different from the shy Bayleef she'd known just hours earlier. She gave a calm smile and looked the Leaf Pokemon in the eyes. "Hey... it's okay, it really is... I don't really understand what you're going through, but we're here. We'll help you. For now, let's just get Devon a little help, okay?" She said, hoping the words would really hit home for the Bayleef.

Selena returned the gaze, sniffling. "O-Okay... Again though, I-I'm sorry..." She wiped a few tears away, but her eyes remained semi-watered. Ember kept her paw on Selena's, making sure she wouldn't start crying again. "Come on, you seem to know where Mr. Rhys lives, lead the way Lilisette." She said.

Lily somewhat slumped down when she realized they were still talking about what had happened earlier. Luckily, the subject soon changed to Nasir's unusual ability. She then realized she'd almost forgotten something, or rather someone, again. "Oh no... I forgot again..." She held up her only used PokeBall, clicking the button and releasing the small Grass Type inside. <You did it again, didn't you...> She said angrily as she looked around her. "I'm so sorry, we kind of got caught in the moment..."

Brent nodded. "Right, better let out my partner, too." He said, holding his PokeBall and releasing his Fire Type companion. <Where are they?! I'll rattle their cages, I'll give 'em a left, then a right, then a... a... when did we get here?> He said, looking around him as he noticed they were no longer in combat. Brent laughed as his Cyndaquil seemed quite confused. "Sorry, pal, we booked it out of there." He said to the fire type.

As the others introduced themselves, so did they. "I'm Brent, nice to meet ya." Said Brent, waving. "This is my partner, Cyndaquil." He pointed to his partner. "My name's Lily, that's Chikorita." She said, motioning to her partner.

Michael smiled, looking over at the pouting girl next to Devon. "And, what about you? What's your name?" He asked, wondering what was on that girls mind.

Brooks
[Route 701]

Brooks sat with his back against the trunk of a tree along the road, hands behind his head as he somewhat relaxed under the orange glow of the diminishing sunset. His Feraligatr sat in a similar fashion. "You did good back there, pal. They didn't stand a chance." He said as he glanced over to his Water Type companion. <Yeah, kinda hard to deal with me, you know. Just kinda mad I didn't get to finish the job...> Feraligatr replied.

Brooks looked back to the sunset, stretched, and stood up. He was thinking about Shaymin, and was concerned by "Their" sudden interest in capturing it. Maybe the others would be in danger... "Let's head back down to the Pokemon Center, I wanna check on something." He said, Feraligatr getting to his feet. <Whatever... as long as I don't need to have another examination...> He replied, following him.

Ember, before anything, ran over to the pile of thieves and grabbed back her precious bag and belongings. "Serves you right..." She said, spitting an Ember at them before turning and regrouping with the others. Devon was in bad shape, but Lilisette seemed to be taking care of him, somewhat. "What about the town healer, Mr. Rhys? We could take him there... I can't remember where his clinic is though..." She looked left and right, not seeing anything. Then she looked back at the pile of washed up thieves. "And then there's those guys... we can't just leave them there, they might get away... what do we do?"

Selena finally snapped back into reality from whatever she had turned into, looking around. Devon was hurt, Lilisette was in a frenzy, and Ember looked like she had no clue what to do. She saw the pile of Pokemon behind them all, and tried to piece together what happened. Then she realized what she'd done, or at least what she thought she had done. She'd hit them with her most powerful move, in that moment she became what she hated more than anything. Tears started welling up when she realized what might happen, what could have happened. "I-I'm... I'm sorry... I'm so... so sorry... I-I don't know what came over me... it wasn't me... it w-wasn't..." The tears poured out like a river, and she ended up falling to the ground, keeping her head between her legs.

Ember rushed to her side, trying to comfort the small grass type. "Hey, don't cry, you did great... Devon's gonna be okay, I know he will... just... please don't cry..." She said, laying a paw on the Leaf Pokemon's leg. It didn't help, Ember felt like her words fell on deaf ears. Selena heard her, but in this moment, she was too out of it to respond or even acknowledge the words.

Brent looked at the others who had become intrigued by their little group. "Yeah... but that one guy... he went just about blow to blow with your Monferno, didn't he? Even without armor... I didn't think that was possible. And that lady... whoever they were, they knew what they were doing and they meant business." He paused for a moment, thinking about how to say what had happened. "She's just a little freaked out by what happened... it's probably better if she told you herself than me, if she even wants to talk about what happened..." He looked out the door where Lily had gone.

Lily Meadows
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

Lily didn't even notice Ranulf outside as she sat and thought. It was hard, keeping the truth from her friends or letting them know what she actually felt... she didn't know what to do. She sat there and thought long and hard, and eventually decided. "I'll tell them... they deserve to know..." She said, starting to head back inside, but she stopped at the door, just out of sight. There were more trainers talking. Alright, change of plans, she'll tell them later. She didn't want to cause panic to complete strangers.

She sighed, regained her composure, and headed back inside. "Alright, I'm okay now." She said, still somewhat nervously as she took her seat back at the table. "So, did I miss anything?" She asked. "Not much, we were just chatting with... oh yeah, we never caught your names." Said Brent, looking to the strangers now next to them.

Michael Stint
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

The answer kind of caught Michael off guard. "Knight armor?" As Brent explained how seemingly powerful these people were. "They do sound tough... can't say I've heard of anything like that, but I've only been in Viore a few days now." He said, scratching the back of his head questioningly. He was going to add on to what Olivier said when the green haired girl returned. When he realized he'd never said his name, he chuckled. "Right, my name's Michael." He said.

Spirit the Lucario
[Valiant Village - Spirit's Guild]

It seemed everyone who would be attending was here. Spirit stood up from his meditative position, giving a small grunt to the impatient Ice Cream Cone floating before him. "All right, it seems everyone needed here is here. Let us begin." He turned to the two boards behind him. "We have gotten a fresh batch of requests, as usual. But, we also have many requests from many of the townsmon here in preparation for the tenth annual Founders Day Festival. So be sure to help many out with that."

He turned back to the group ahead of him. "Lastly, I would like to announce the return of some old friends. Omen and Serenity have finally returned to Valiant Village." A short round of applause was given to the two. "Alright, time to get to work." He said, walking by, he stopped at the door. "Rico, Lulu, Zaru, Milton, I want to speak to all of you before you start anything today, I'll be at the Dojo. And you, my young ice type, please have a little more patience, I'll get around to you soon." He said, and continued to walk outside in the direction of the Dojo.

Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins
[Valiant Village - Spirit's Guild]

The two young Aura wielders sat up straight and paid close attention as their father delivered the morning briefing. Following it, when he wanted to speak with them again today, they had to wonder if they'd done something wrong. "I wonder what we did this time..." Said Rico, looking out to where their father had just left. "I don't think we did anything bad yesterday, unless we sleep walked last night or something..."

They looked to the fire monkey and dark fox in the room, wondering what their dad wanted with either of them as well. Maybe it wasn't something bad, maybe he had a surprise for them... but that wasn't like their dad... maybe there was more training... but he said before their requests for the day... they didn't take requests... whatever it was, they were determined to get to the bottom of it. "We'll meet you over there, guys." Said Rico, waving as he and Lulu hopped up and soon followed their father's path towards the Dojo.

Omen the Absol and Serenity the Sylveon
[Valiant Village - Spirit's Guild]

It had been a long time since they'd heard Spirit give his morning briefing. Just like the good old days. After his departure, the majority of Guild Members either picked a flyer from either board or headed into town to see who they could help. "Well, let's see what's left on the boards now, then head into town and see if anyone needs any help ourselves." Said Serenity, with Omen already heading towards the boards. Together they looked to see what jobs were left. There were five in total between the two boards:

Requests

Outlaw Notices

They looked at each other. "Well, let's go check out town, see what jobs we can help with out there. Plus..." Omen began, Serenity finishing his sentence. "We get to see a lot of our old friends and how much the town has changed! Let's go!" She said, bounding out the door, Omen slowly trodding behind. "She never changes..." He said as he followed the Sylveon.

Ember was speechless at the scene unfolding before her. All she knew is that the tables had quickly turned against them. She looked around her. She was in a powerless position, the Dewott had the type advantage against her, and was practically covering the Weavile. The Raichu had Devon on lock, ready to make a move as soon as he would even twitch. She looked to Lilisette, who was trying to help Devon all she could. Then she looked to Selena, she had a look that showed her the side of Selena she never showed anyone.

Selena went into her zone, all the training her father had taught her flooded back to the front of her mind. She lined up the target, or in this case, targets. Ember was off to one side, Lilisette on the other. Devon below. They were not targets, and they were clear of her attack. The particles came in faster and faster, eventually causing her leaf on her head to glow bright. She opened her mouth, and a small ball of energy. She chose her attack path. She lined it up perfectly. She took aim, and fired. [Selena used SOLARBEAM!] The beam of energy plotted a direct course that would end up hitting each of the criminals in a line, starting with the Raichu, then the Dewott, and finally finishing the Weavile.

Lily was suddenly swarmed, or she felt like it. She felt like they were treating her like the hurt one. "I... I just need a minute..." She said, standing up from the table. She walked past another group of trainers at a nearby table as she headed out back behind the Pokemon Center. Brent watched over his shoulder as the green haired girl walked out. He sighed. "I think some alone time will do her some good more than us almost prodding her. Whatever happened to her... that's enough to freak anyone out. Some peace and quiet might do her some good."

She sat down on one of the benches outside, staring up at the orange hue just above the horizon. It helped put her mind at ease a little, but the same thoughts kept rattling around inside. Things she didn't yet mention to the others. "When I first heard that voice... I think that was Shaymin... then when I saw Shaymin, it felt like something... clicked. And when that... mark, symbol, whatever it was appeared... I felt something... connect? I don't know how to put it... it was so weird... what could it be?" She thought. As freaked out as she was at this, she felt she might freak out her new friends more if she told them. "Should I tell them... or would it be for the best if only I knew..."

It was hard, she had never lied a moment in her life, not when she spilled juice on the oriental rug from Oblivia, not when accidentally knocked over her dad's bookshelf, never had she told a lie. But... if it was protecting her friends... was it really right?

Meanwhile, in the back, the fact that the Zoroark could, speak if you could call it that, caught the nurse a little off guard, but she kept her composure. "No need to thank me, just doing what I'm supposed to do." She said, holding up the Zoroark's PokeBall. In a flash of light, the dark type would be returned. She soon returned to the front.

"Your Pokemon are all patched up. Your Marill and Ampharos will be a bit sore for a few days, but they'll be fine, just make sure they get plenty of rest tonight. Your Zoroark will be completely fine, I don't see any troubles occurring with that one." She said with a smile, leaving the PokeBalls on the counter.

[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

Out of the entire group, the green haired girl seemed the most... out of it with whatever situation they had just been through. When she took her leave and went outside, he decided now was the time to ask. He stood up from his table and slowly walked over to the others. "Hey, I just saw you all come in with a Shaymin... it looked pretty beat up, I was wondering what happened to it." He said. He wondered if he might be able to help with whatever happened.

Officer Jenny
[New Amber Town - Police Station]

"So, another attack on civilians... whoever these guys are, their attacks are so random, but they're definitely planned. I can't pin these guys down..." Said Officer Jenny, looking at a large computer monitor showing the South Western Corner of Viore. Another officer entered the room. "Ma'am, we've received a message from the PRU, they'll be sending in two of their members tomorrow. They think they might be able to help end this." Jenny looked at the officer, then back to the monitor. "We can only hope so... if they can't figure out this mystery, who can?"

Ember gave a quick smile to Lilisette as she thanked her. "Not a problem, and yeah, this guy's gonna learn not to steal from fire." She said, rushing forward. Selena stayed back a bit, watching for any more attacks coming from the thief, who could now be clearly seen as a Weavile to her and Ember.

As the Weavile tried to escape, Devon had the bright idea to slow him down with a bunch of barrels. Okay... maybe not the best thought out plan, but it was innovative. Selena rushed up with Protect to block several of the barrels as they bounced off the protective shield. Ember jumped around and over them, looking at the thief with disgust. Her flames were now burning quite intensely, he'd messed with the wrong Fire Type. She didn't bother with long range attacks. She got her stride and curled up, eventually rolling in flames towards the Weavile behind Devon's Water Gun. [Ember used FLAME WHEEL!].

Selena stood back, trying to decide what to do now. Anyone who knew her could tell you the last thing she wanted to do was fight. But... sometimes you had to make the tough choice, as her father would say. "If I have to..." She said, looking up into the sky. Several particles began getting drawn into the Grass Type's leaf.
