Race: Human
Sex: Male
Class: Dark Mage
Gender Identity: Male
Age: 22
Appearance:
- Height: 5'10
- Weight:145 lbs
- Hair: His shaggy black hair is wiry and coarse.
- Eyes: Dark brown.
- General: Between his pallid skin, scrawny frame, and slender fingers, it would appear Ereshk has never worked a day in his life. His hair is often unkempt, and the dark rings of insomnia plague his eyes.
Equipment:
- A well-worn hooded traveler's cloak. There is a faded crest on the back of a raven in flight, with three feathers floating down. A motto is inscribed below in a foreign runic language.
- An absolutely massive grimoire bound in dark leather. The cover and spine have an elaborate Celtic knot for a title. It is entirely written in the same runic language as the motto on his cloak. Ereshk has a leather pack specifically built to holster the massive tome while traveling.
- Silver-framed glasses.
Personality: He is cheerful and generally quite amicable when talked to, though he does not usually initiate conversations on his own. He prefers quiet intellectual discussions over rowdy group parties.
Bio: Ereshk is a scholar and an avid student of magic. He has been apprenticed to a rather powerful sorcerer in Vinsenia ever since he was a child. As the final task of his apprenticeship, the scholar has been sent out into the world at large to discover a new aspect of magic that his master does not already possess. The crest on his cloak is the sigil of his master.
Likes/Dislikes: He likes tea, the scent of old parchment, and staring up at the stars on a clear night. He has an intense dislike for blood and gore, and prefers to avoid conflict at all if possible. Ereshk also dislikes horses, and has very little skill with riding one.
Strengths/Weakness: If a mind needs books like a sword needs a whetstone, then Ereshk's mind may very well be the sharpest blade in the armory. He has a wide array of trivial facts stored away from his years of study, and his skill with magic is quite impressive. However, his scrawny frame is physically frail, and he simply does not have the constitution to weather blows in a fight. His spellbook is also easily the weight of a battleaxe and just as unwieldy, making him laughably slow compared to others.
Other: The sigil of his master might be known to anyone who has studied magic or the history of Vinsenia. I'm open to more private development of the master and his (or her!) order if it ties in to/might interfere with your plans, TentacleLord. Otherwise the master will just stay in the background. If we're picking stats, his Magic, Skill, and Resistance are above-average, while his HP, Defense, and Speed are below. His strength is also low, if we're keeping it separate from magic.
