Growing up, Marianna always felt like she was different, in a way. Her mother had died shortly after her birth and her father suffered his fate in a tragic two-vehicle accident a couple of months later. Her auntie and uncle took her in and practically raised them in their household and to their beliefs. It was weird, honestly but it did get a bit weirder whenever she was growing up. It was late one night when she did a little bit of browsing around the house. She went down to the basement and started to rumble through some things and a big book fell onto the ground. She grabbed it then ran upstairs and started to read it but before she could say the first words, her auntie interrupted her and quickly grabbed the book.

Right then and there, her auntie informed her of their ancestry is from Tituba, one of the first ones killed long ago in the Salem Witch Trials and Marianna couldn't believe it. Her auntie practically started to teach her how to hone her witch-like abilities from there but it was voodooism instead. Her auntie even went so far as to change her last name from McNeil to Leveau after the Voodoo Queen from New Orleans. Her auntie always warned her to be careful about who she uses her magical abilities around because it seemed like deja vu is starting up for most people within the town of Salem.

Sadly, Martin did not know how to feel about the death of his parents. He did not really talk much to anyone during his childhood because he did not know exactly what to say to people. But as he got older, he started to come out of his shell a little bit and open up a bit more. His auntie and uncle took him in along with his sister and things just felt a bit weird to him. Growing up in their household was not an easy task to accomplish. They were dead set on being their overprotective guardians and made sure that they had little to no fun.

It was one night that he overheard his auntie talking with his sister about their ancestry and he walked in on the conversation, not really believing that they were witches. His auntie took his sister and his uncle took him underneath his wing to teach him the ways of Voodoo. It was weird and scary at sometimes but he did end up learning and him along with his sister will often share their learning experiences with each other.

Martin did heavy research on their ancestor, Tituba and since they had their last name changed to Leveau, he even did a little research on the Voodoo Queen herself, Marie Leveau. Him and his sister now live in their own home and are closer than ever because rumors are starting to spread around town about certain beings, aka beings just like them.

Ivory is... an interesting character. When you think of a YouTuber, specifically those that vlog, you think of loud and very energetic personalities. However, that is 100% not Ivory. She is a very laid-back person usually, pretty uncaring seeming and overall... cool. When playing video games, she usually makes little side comments and jokes, talking with the audience as if they’re sitting right next to her, like a friend. Although, when she rages, it is a sight to behold~

She is a very intelligent person, explaining concepts of a game to viewers and throws little jabs at other creators and other people in good fun, proving that she isn’t afraid to speak her mind and give her opinions. If anything, the video game takes a back seat to random rambles about everything from politics to changes on the YouTube platform.

This proves that she is a very interesting individual who many are interested in. She just isn’t really content around other people, only feeling relaxed when speaking to thousands of people through a camera.

History:
Ivory grew up in New Jersey, to a loving father and doting mother. Her father was the typical man’s man. Almost 7 feet tall with biceps the size of her head, it was almost comedic seeing her 5’1 mother standing beside him. But, all jokes aside, she was raised as an only child by the couple and lived a rather nice life. No tragic backstory or anything like that.

In school, she was the typical quiet girl in the corner, head either stuffed in a book or on her DS when she should’ve been listening to her teacher. It wasn’t until she was 16 that she started YouTube, first just doing reviews of video games and rambling on about them, expecting no one to watch. But, by the time she was 18, she had a shitty tripod set up in her bedroom and some even crappier recording software for her computer to record her screen and was making gameplay videos. Even though she didn’t have the best quality mike or the best 720 p footage, her blunt honesty and sarcasm made her a breath of fresh air in the gaming community that was saturated with big personalities.

And Ivory was actually happy for once. All throughout her school years, she’d been depressed. Not because she was bullied or had a bad home life or anything, she even had a couple of really good friends (Friends she would even collaborate with on videos) that she could count on. It was just how she was for as long as she could remember. And she found herself actually feeling truly happy when she was tucked away in her room talking to a camera and joking about the glitches in a beta test of a game.

Barely managing to graduate (Due to lack of interest, if anything.), Ivory announced to her parents that she wasn’t going to college and was going to do YouTube full time. And even though her parents tried to be supportive, she could tell that her mother was a bit disappointed and that her father was worried. But, she couldn’t let this go. She felt... something, while on YouTube. And she didn’t think she could go without it.

So, when she was 21, that was when her channel really took off. After doing a review for a small little indie title that went viral, the rush of subscribers and views suddenly thrust her into the limelight. And, 3 years later, she’s still not used to being recognized in public, even though, compared to other channels, she’s really not all that big. But, a loyal fanbase can get you far, as well as having good content that Ivory does her best to switch up so that it doesn't get boring. With her normal gaming videos, she also adds in weekly vlogs (Basically she’ll vlog throughout a week and then edit it all together to post a big compilation video. Good watch time.) and the odd discussion over important topics in both the gaming community and YouTube as a whole.

When she got the invitation to come on this cruise, she was pretty much instantly going to say no. BUT, after putting up a poll on her Instagram story, she unfortunately was told to go by a vast majority. Kicking herself in the leg for even asking and therefore being basically contract-bound to go, she called in her ‘okay, I’ll be there’. » For as long as anyone can remember, Venus Carter has always proven herself to be a calm, cool, and collected individual. Like her daddy, Venus is very laid-back; she doesn't stress over little things, simply preferring to take them in stride. If you were to ask one of her close friends to describe the young woman, the first few words that would come spilling out of their mouths would be something along the lines of "sarcastic," "brutally honest," or "quick-witted." In her community, Venus is known for her ability to come up with hilarious jokes or comebacks on the spot; this can easily be seen in one of her early YouTube videos where she had a "roast session" with a boy from her middle school. » "What's up y'all, it's ya girl, Venus. Welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm going to do something a little different from what I usually post. Since I've been getting a lot of questions recently about who I am and what my 'story' is, I've decided to make a video telling you all a little bit more about myself. It's actually really funny how I've had this shit since I was twelve years old, and all you guys really know about me is that I'm a New Yorker who was named after a planet.

I guess I'll start off with the basics. My name is Venus London Carter, and I was born on the first of November in Queens, New York, to a Jamaican and a Dominican immigrant. I've lived in Jamaica, Queens, my entire life; together, my family lived in a small two-bedroom apartment not too far from the Bowne House. I wouldn't consider Jamaica to be a 'bad' neighborhood, but it sure ain't no Tribeca. Anyways, my dad works as a chef in this local Jamaican restaurant, shout out to Yogi's, and my mom has her own housekeeping business. No, we weren't very fortunate, but my parents always worked their asses off to make sure that I had everything I needed to live a happy life, and for that I will be forever grateful.

So, I eventually grew up and went to school or whatever. That was around the time that I met the group of friends that you all are always seeing in my videos. Man, grade school with those guys was a fucking blast. I mean, y'all know that I'm all laid-back and shit, but we used to cause some real trouble when we rode the train to school every morning. And don't even get me started on what went down in class; I swear I almost got put out of class every single day for 'talking back' or 'mouthing off' to the teachers. That's what I was known for: being the class clown. But it wasn't even like I wanted attention or anything, I just always said whatever came to my mind, even when it wasn't appropriate to do so. I almost got in some serious trouble for all of that back in like the seventh grade, though, so I decided to take my 'talents' to YouTube. And, well... the rest is history.

I don't do that class clown stuff as much as I used to, especially now that I'm in college and trying to get my life together. I moved to Brooklyn after I graduated from high school, and now I go to Long Island University. I'm in the Media Arts department, you know, since I'm trying to get all serious with this photography stuff. However, thanks to YouTube and all of you beautiful ass subscribers, I still get to do the one thing I love most in this world: make other people laugh. It really warms my heart when you all leave these kind messages; I'm glad that my videos are able to bring so much joy and laughter to everyone who watches them..."

When Venus received the invitation to come on the cruise, she accepted it without thinking twice. Personally it gives her a sense of exclusiveness, creativity, attributing to her own vainness and expressiveness as an artist. VV, or Valerie as she's personally known, is born to be on the spotlight. Her unwavering confidence, allure and swagger is, according to one youtube comment, 'aggressively shook worthy', that also perfectly complements with her self admiration and arrogance. That's to say all that is built in her artistic nature, and most of the time intended as an on stage persona than her actual character. Or is it? Off cam, Val is pretty much the same, but less aggressive and more compassionate. She's loyal and true, although practical in her views and coming off as a bit confrontational, Val always has her friends's best interest at heart.

Before, she was very self conscious on her appearance and attitude, always wanting to please people until she reached a level of popularity, inevitably building her own identity, showing her true self and being vocal with her strong albeit 'bitch leaning' opinions incorporated in her music and vlogs. Overtime she steered towards a rather blunt and slightly political viewpoint while trying her best not to care if she'd lose a few fans or subscribers along the way.

She lives for the attention, negatively or positively, thinking that it contributes greatly to her artistic senses, and giving her the motivation to prove people more than what they think. She likes winning, and therefore it's only natural that she would feel a sense of dread when people prove her otherwise. She's not one to attack personally, and most of the time she easily settles down but when she's hit below the belt, it gets much harder to get over it. Val may not show it, but she's easily affected by negativity towards her may it be by comments or personal beefs from haters or people she know. It never gets easier for her when she intentionally wallows herself in all that toxicity, and when it gets too much her friends would usually advise her for help with a doctor, and take some prescriptions to ease the pain.

History

Valerie's first taste of online popularity started during her college years. Like any other American student deep in college debt, Val had to find ways to get by some quick cash, and what convenient way to do that is through the extensive freedom of the glorious internet. Unbeknownst to some people back then, Val used to earn money for college as a camgirl under the name Mz.Vanz, although nothing too extreme at first until she got too desperate. It didn't become too much of a bother once she got over the creepy comments, stalking and abrupt declarations of love. In fact it was too easy, earning a small wealth just enough to get over her needs and indulge in a little luxury, all that for just showing a little bit of skin or more in front of the camera, and in the convenience of her own bedroom.

Way before that though, Valerie has always been a musician at heart. As a young child living in a relatively normal lower middle class household, her parents enrolled her in ballet classes if it means getting her out of the house more. As she grew up and delved her music tastes into hip hop territory, Val started developing a passion for street dance and rap. Her passion was evident in her art, that earned her a place in dance troupes and won her some awards in competitions as early as 15. As she matured so did her tastes, as a songwriter she began experimenting with neo soul and r&b, and by this time she expanded her popularity in the internet, becoming your typical soundcloud rapper. Initially she'd do covers which she'd link to her youtube account, until she started writing her own song and creating music videos from the money she'd earn. On the sides, she'd also make short personal vlogs and album reviews, and later in her career did she become more vocal and outright on her beliefs.

At first she had a small pool of fans, not until she became a camgirl that is. In a way her camgirl career skyrocketed her into fame, when she did come by a couple of 'sane non creepy' fans along the way, they took notice of her music and actually liked it. With her efforts and personality that snowballed her popularity and supportive fans, almost everyone forgot that rather personal part of her life and eventually she made a name for herself, thus the name VV Vance became widely known in the social media world. Not until years later when some trashy online tabloid brought up that sensitive part of her past, did affect her growing music career. Plus it troubled her emotionally, but pragmatic as always, somehow Val turned it all around and used the attention to earn more fans by delving into it on her vlogs, and later on developed a dramatic and positive music video about her years as a camgirl, titled "Kaleidoscope."

It was officially that time. The time for the young adults to get out of the house and live it up on the beach, which was literally a two-minute walk from their beach house. The music could be heard from a far distance and the beach was already packed with partygoers and people who just wanted to have a good time and escape reality for a moment. The skies above had finally darkened and the atmosphere surrounding the party was very much alive. Luckily, no one was too drunk yet because the party just started literally ten minutes ago so everyone was practically standing around, some were dancing by the fire and just waiting for some excitement to happen. The young adults were confronted by the people throwing the party as they mentioned to them where the drinks were, do's and don't's of the party and if they wanted to request a song, just go over to the DJ booth and do so but overall, the people told the beach housemates to have loads of fun and to enjoy themselves. 'Bonfire on the Beach' was titled for the party and now that the housemates were there, maybe they can get the party started since it is a bit dull right about now.
