(I'm gonna go on a soul qoute rampage, sorry) :) “Music is an outburst of the soul.” ― Frederick Delius “It is very hard for evil to take hold of the unconsenting soul.” ― Ursula K. Ok well thanks for what you have done. (And if you ever decide to drag this back up, shoot me a PM and I'll happily join you) @Fleeter Thanks.
Konrad
Finding the dorms, Konrad worked his way long the corridor skirting round anyone else and searching for his room, glancing at the doors he noticed that every room had two people’s names on the plaques on the doors, but when he finally found his name right at the end it was on it’s own, no other name. Which meant, no roommate. Konrad wasn’t sure whether to be pleased or sad. He settled for pleased, plenty of time to be sad later. And any way they hadn't used his real name, but rather his alias of Konrad Tinker. Pushing his way into the room he found it was set up for two, smallish and plain, with simple, practical, furniture. Flinging his bags on a bed, Konrad pulled at his ‘workshop’ and expanded it a size, making it possible to access some of his more basic tools. Grabbing a pair of pliers he plopped onto the bed and started tying in loose ends of wire, weaving the anklet together. Snatching a thread from his shirt Konrad wove that in as well, brilliant blue mixing with the copper and gold. Thinking of that, time to change. His mother had made him dress in ‘fine clothes fit for a prince’ but to Konrad they were just unnecessarily bright and gaudy, almost announcing what he was. Riffling through one of his bags he pulled out his usual worn dark tee-shirt and three quarter pants. Closing his door he discarded the royal blue tasseled something-or-other-else his mother had decided on and pulled on the comfortable normal clothes.
@ScarlettWaters16 I'm just gonna assume Konrad is on his own in the rooming deal.
Stop, Gooooooooooo, STOP!
Konrad
Konrad frowned; he was late, but that wasn’t what was bothering him, rather why did he even have to go to this school in the first place? Sure his mother said it would teach him what he needed to know, but really what more could they teach him? He already knew how to muck out stables, what to feed the horses, much of cat etiquette, and all sorts of useful stuff like that, not to mention his knack for creating things, so why did he have to go here? Talking of creating things Konrad was busy fiddling with copper wire and some bells, threading the bells onto loops of wire and weaving them in with other loops. “Sir? We’re here.” The driver jolted Konrad out of his thoughts. Looking up he spotted the school, small but pretty, or that’s what his mother would have said, Konrad himself reckoned the school looked like a nice enough place, somewhere that would be good for causing mischief. Clambering out of the car, he realized, quite suddenly, that he was late. Not a good first impression, …but he would live. Grabbing his bags, all three of them, and his collapsible ‘workshop’, Konrad thanked the driver, and shooed him off, before heading up towards the school, hoping secretly that he wasn’t too late. It totally wasn’t his fault that the dogs had gotten lose and he was a mud monster by the time they were caught. No it totally wasn’t his fault that the night before he had tested out his self-unlocking latch on the dog kennels. Nope not his fault, not his fault at all. Climbing a stair case he followed the sound of voices, managing to move all his stuff, and keep tinkering with the wire and bells.
Name: Arman Ryanson Age: 16 Gender: Female, but looks male. Bio: Arman grew up traveling, village to village, never settling anywhere. She was the story keeper for her troupe, telling stories for her keep. They are currently stopping by in Crosshaven for a little while, before they plan to move on. Arman hides the fact that she is a girl. When she was little she was picked up from the roadside and has been with the travelers since then. Who is the Seer?: Another traveler, someone, she respects if ‘he’ exists. She has heard of ‘him’ in legends and one of the first stories she read was a piece of poetry about ‘him’. She would also like, if possible to be the one to record the seer’s story, and tell it to others. (But for that matter she quite likes telling anyone’s stories, if they will let her.)
Yay!! thanks :)
"Would you tel me, please, which way I ought to go from here?" "That depends very much on where you want to get to." said the Cat. "I don't much care where - " said Alice. "Then It doesn't matter which way you go." said the Cat. " - So long as I get somewhere," Alice added as an explanation. "Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough" - Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland "We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here." Alice didn't think that proved it at all: however she went on. "And how do you know that you're mad?" "To begin with," said the Cat, "a dog's not mad. You grant that?" "I suppose so," said Alice. "Well then," the Cat went on, "You see a dog growls when it's angry, and wags it's tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad." - Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland There are two types of people in this world; those that are mad, and those who believe they are sane. - Myself.
Great Rez thought She knows All our secrets? Just great. He ignored the voice telling him it was a challenge. It was not, just a statement of fact. In no way was that phrased as a challenge. He grinned, noticing a blue-haired girl slip in behind him and employ the same tactic of stay silent and hope no one notices.
