No problem at all. Life issues come first, simply a fact.
-sigh- If you want I'll be on tinychat, it isn't me...it's my friend...I'll leave him unnamed....the chatroom is tinychat.com/gdtrp
Might as well reveal it. The friend is me. I'd rather not talk about the circumstances, but I'm obviously one of the more active players in this RP and I'm also the co-GM. The situation has been mostly sorted out, but right now I have no internet at my current residence. I will notify DiamondBlizzard on Thursday when the internet has been installed. Thanks for waiting.

Big Box, Puppy Pug Racing and Super Mariachi World announced!
Goliath's new 16-bit console is launching with two titles next summer. Super Mariachi World is the sequel to the critically-panned but financially successful Super Mariachi Sisters 3 for the PC. Puppy Pug Racing is a new "kart racing" game using their long-dormant Puppy Pug intellectual property. Both games will retail for $65 and will not be bundled with the Big Box. The console itself will cost $350. Advertizing is already seeping through the cracks well before release, but the flood of propaganda isn't expected to arrive until early next year.

It seems Video Gadgeteer is getting even with Draconic Studios over Fractalspace. Inside reports say a cease-and-desist has been sent to Draconic Studios, telling them that Ojada, the Monster Summoner is a violation of their copyright on Eccojari. Will the charges stick? We shall see.
In the meantime, Video Gadgeteer has issued a statement. "While we appreciate them choosing to release Ojada on our console, we feel it is too similar to our own IP, and combined with being on our platform, we believe we have precedent to press changes if they do not halt production and sales of the game."

EXECUTE announced!
A strange new game for PC has been announced by Video Gadgeteer. You play as a hacker in the vein of certain movies over the past decade, breaking into banks, government databases and other computers connected to the ARPANET to steal money and information using dedicated programs and typing skills. Servers will attempt to back-trace you, so you have limited time to get in and get out. All the while, your internet connection is racking up bills which you have to pay with your ill-gotten gains. If you're successful enough, you can buy better components and programs or even a whole new computer to boost your capabilities.
(Like this but 8-bit)
Video Gadgeteer made a statement that the "hacking" in the game is merely a simulation of "movie hacking" and that players would not be able to learn how to commit real computer crime by playing. The game will be available on PC next summer.

Game Pocket devkits reduced in price!
Video Gadgeteer has reduced the price of the Game Pocket devkit to $500,000 in the hopes of attracting more developers to the console.
"We are glad that our friendly rivals at Draconic Sudios are supporting our console, but we would like to attract a larger portion of the gaming industry to our platform." said Lead Developer Oliver Zehn.
Rumors are that the price drop was prompted by the impending release of the Game Machine and talk in the industry of a Goliath Entertainment console.

A package arrives for the gang of criminals...
(They open it up to find stacks of money and a note.)
Here is your payment.
They look at the money and see the face of "The Father" from Neopolis on the bills. A beeping sound is heard inside the box. They open it to find a military surplus tracking device.
Suddenly police and the national guard burst through the doors and surround them. "Hands up! You're under arrest!"

A letter arrives at Draconic Studios...To whom it may concern,
Video Gadgeteer feels it has sufficient legal right to order the cease-and-desist of Ojada, the Monster Summoner immediately. You have 3 months to forward this letter to your legal counsel and comply.

Highway Robbery announced!
Video Gadgeteer has just announced a new title for the Game Machine unlike any seen before! The game, which will be rated M for Mature, places the player in the shoes of a nameless criminal on the streets of a nameless mid-western town and the surrounding county. The player will be able to both steal parked vehicles and carjack ones being driven by NPCs. Police will chase the player if they are spotted stealing a vehicle or if the player lingers around the police too long in a stolen vehicle. The player can bring cars to "questionably legal" exporters for cash, which can be used to buy safehouses (access to doors in the sides of buildings which you can enter to "hide" and slowly reduce heat), a home which can be entered and customized with furniture, as well as up to 3 personal vehicles. Vehicles will all be renamed to ensure "no brands will be harmed in the making of this game".
((Yes, I know this is 32-bit. Just imagine a downgraded graphics version. It could probably be done.

Horsepower announced!
A game for the Game Pocket, superficially similar to a graphically-downgraded Highway Robbery, is apparently also being released by Video Gadgeteer, but according to the developers this is where the similarities end.
Horsepower uses the same overhead viewpoint as Highway Robbery to portray vehicles and only vehicles, in a game where you buy, customize and race street-legal vehicles on the streets of an island city.
The player starts out with a small amount of cash and only a couple choices for vehicles within their price range, and from there their goal is to get prize money to upgrade their car and eventually get better cars. Fake brands that imitate real car companies will be used, and the game will apparently take place in the same universe as Highway Robbery.

Pzzl announced!
A new puzzle game for the Game Pocket has been announced with a surprising amount of information! The original title apparently involves fitting "Pzzl pieces" consisting of shapes composed of 5 squares into a playing field, making sure not to overlap the irregular pieces. A time limit between placing pieces and a required total of pieces per level ensures the game will not be easy!

Gadgeteer Kitten 2 announced!
Rumors about a third entry in the Gadgeteer Kitten series have been going around for weeks, but today Video Gadgeteer put those rumors to rest with the announcement that Gadgeteer Kitten 2 would be coming to the Game Machine, and would allow an "Armory" to be transferred from Gadgeteer Kitten 1.5 via infra-red connection, allowing the character to use weapons and gadgets from the Game Pocket title.

Project Cuckoo revealed! Video Gadgeteer unveils prototype of the "Game Machine"!
At this year's EGX (Electronic Gaming Expo), Video Gadgeteer revealed a new home console called the Game Machine. The 16-bit, cartridge-based console will have infra-red controllers, which will be compatible with charging cables identical to the new Game Pocket charging cable. The controllers will otherwise use AA batteries. The Game Machine will also allow Game Pockets to be used as game controllers, provided a special cartridge is inserted into the Game Pocket.

Goliath Entertainment to create new console?
Rumors are abound that Goliath Entertainment, publisher of various sports titles and games made by subsidiaries like David Studios' Super Mariachi Sisters and Puppy Pug, is working on a 16-bit console that will compete with Video Gadgeteer's Project Cuckoo.
Considering Goliath's track record, many say this could be bad for the industry...
