@Sisyphus Sure. They've probably been introduced at some-point, and at the very least know of each-other. Arthur could even know what she's doing in Galinas, maybe have a correspondence with her to get information about the science happening over there. Doesn't seem the type to care about national rivalries.

I don't know - I'm planning for a big part of Arthur's character arc to be 'learning how to have interpersonal relationships', so I think a long-term pen pal situation is a little out of his depth at the moment. :P Maybe they just know each other in a 'social function' kind of way?
@Tackytaff Question: Has Anne met Arthur? She very well might have, as it sounds like she was a part of noble society in Royal City for a few years, and he's been obligated to attend a variety of social functions. Just something I thought of.
@Holy Soldier

Actually, considering the song I was planning to have her sing, she might very well only add to it.
@Holy Soldier

Ciara is going to be playing in a tavern for her first post - I see no reason it shouldn't be the one Boen is at.

Name: Carol Keller

Age: 19

Race: Human

Sex: Female

Character Trait: Scrounger: Carol's well accustomed to a life of making do, and the apocalyptic conditions that have thrown so many off balance just reminder her of home. She can steal, find, or barter for just about anything a person needs, if it's within reason, and while she's no tech expert, she's reasonably capable at kludging broken machines into (relative) functioning.

Character Personality: Carol is loud, foul-mouthed, and cheerful. She's an incorrigible optimist, even in the face of the dire odds the planet is currently facing, and cares a great deal for the people close to her, though this doesn't detract from her tendency to be snarky and/or foul-mouthed to them. She has a bit of a temper and is very quick to argue with people she believes to be in the wrong (especially authority figures, which makes her perhaps not the best soldier), though she'll generally forget about it just as quickly if they're her friends.

Character Background: Carol was born on the planet Tallatet, a barren world in the middle of galactic nowhere. It was a lawless place, made only slightly less so by the dedicated work of her Uncle Jack, sheriff of one of the largest regions of the planet's sole inhabitable continent, who raised her and her baby sister after her parents were caught in the crossfire of a local gang shootout. Her uncle was a busy man, however, and while he did his best to guide and care for them, Carol and the other children of her town mainly raised themselves, rampaging through the wasteland, exploring wrecked space ships, and learning to scrounge for whatever they could.

Then the Bulwark arrived. Tallatet was subjugated almost overnight, having no formal militia and little government presence, and only two refugee ships managed to escape the burning world. Carol still remembers how she and her family had to pile into that cramped cargo hold, the air thick with the smell of sweat and the crying of refugees, not knowing if the old junker would even start but knowing that the alien forces were just a few miles away. When they arrived on earth, she didn't mind the draft so much, after that.

She was processed into the last army of humanity not long ago, put through basic training and told it was her job to hold the final line. Her sister Summer had always shown promise in the medical field, and she was sent to work in a military hospital on Earth - Uncle Jack was too old for the draft, but he volunteered anyway. She hasn't seen either of them for some time.

Curio: A small picture of her uncle and little sister, which she keeps folded into her jacket pocket.

Appearance:
Legal Name: Ashlynn Ivy

Image of Reference:

P.K.M.N Trainer Identity: Royal

Current Rank: Novice

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Physical Description: Ashlynn is a tall, skinny girl with bowl-cut brown hair and pale white skin. She’s impeccably well dressed, though rarely in particularly feminine fashion, preferring to display her wealth and taste with a variety of designer pants and blouses rather than dresses. She has a few more practical clothes in her pack for the life of a trainer, but she’s not terribly enthused about wearing them.

Medical History:
Blood Type- B+
Height- 6'1"
Weight- 150lbs
Diseases- Colorblindness,
Injuries-

History: Ashlynn Ivy is both an aristocrat and a military brat – born the only child of General Rannet Ivy, one of the key leaders of the Kantonese National Military, Ashlynn’s life has been a story of privilege and high expectations in equal measure. She had the best schooling and the best things, and she lived in luxury with her parents in Vermillion city.
She was a stranger to tragedy until she was eleven years old, when her mother departed on a ship to visit her family in Kalos. Her ship was destroyed by a rogue Gyrados, removed from their normal habitat for reasons that remain unclear even now, and Ashlynn was alone with her father. He grew stricter, more dispassionate, more reserved, and Ashlynn threw herself into her studies with wild abandon. In her household, everyone was expected to be the best – and so, she would be.
When she came of age, she approached her father about taking the exam. He accepted her dream, foolish as it was, with his trademark stoicism; he had never really involved himself in her life, instead leaving her to be raised by a parade of servants, and as a result it was hardly surprising that he didn’t much seem to care what she wanted to do. Even so, he arranged for her transport and agreed to provide her with a starter Pokemon; a promise Ashlynn came to regard as a cruel joke when he called her to examine Whiskey, a Nidoran of ‘the highest pedigree’ for her to take ownership of as soon as she passed the exam.
Her studies paid off, and she passed with flying colors. Now, Ashlynn is ready to set off to assert her superiority, make this wide world hers, and prove without a doubt that she is the best.

Academic/Exam Proctor Report:
Physical ; 1 to 10 ; Achieved 4
Agility ; 1 to 10; Achieved 6
Mental ; 1 to 10 ; Achieved 9
Species Recognition: 98%
League Code: 93%
Wilderness Survival: 72%
Situation Recognition: 83%
Psychological exam suggests that Ashlynn is extremely driven, goal-oriented, and quite arrogant. Thrives under conditions of solitude, works very poorly in sections of the exam focused around co-operation. Examiners candidly referred to her as ‘insufferably smug’ and ‘inspiringly confident’ in equal measure, with consensus being that she is a dyed-in-the-wool aristocrat. Reason to believe that her parental legacy is a source of psychological vulnerability for her – seems to have great difficulty reconciling independence with need for father’s approval. Strong negative emotional reactions to images of various aquatic pokemon, particularly the Gyrados – suggests unresolved trauma related to mother’s death.

Confirmation of Starter Pokemon: Whiskey, a male Nidoran provided by her father – she’s rather frustrated with how ‘common’ the starter he provided her was, but he insisted on her not having any ‘undue advantages’.

Plot twist:

Darius is the true Harem Master.

The only reason he will end up near Duncan is because everyone else will end up near Duncan, but Darius won't be quite sure what to say to win them over. And everyone else will only be near Duncan as an excuse to be near Darius.

Ciara will be the only one immune to his hareming, due to his dislike of music - she alone must defeat him, and free everyone else from the harem.
Are you going to wait until all the characters are in before you start pairing, or will you start now-ish if any jump out at you?

I'm not being impatient
... Wow, we DO have a lot of dudes.

10 to 6, in fact, unless a lot of ladies are coming.
