Bio

Hate writing my biography but also don't like it when people don't have one so...Long time role player. Enjoy writing many different genres (favourites are cyberpunk/near future and high fantasy). Prefer advanced stories/plots and 1x1's. I like to have depth to stories and characters. Not fond of high school role plays or fandoms/fanfic.

Thought I would tentatively poke here, just to see.
Consider me interested.
Her heels clicked on the tiled floor as she walked down the hall to the room there were meeting in. Her clothes were impeccable. A sleek black skirt and blazer. Crisp white blouse and red scarf. Hair pinned up and make up perfect. Her movements spoke of grace and confidence.

Entering the room she removed her soft leather gloves, nodded politely to Sven and found a seat. A slight wave of sadness moved over her, as it always did when the group met. Matthieu should be here, not her or at least she should be here with him. Slender fingers undid her buttons and she hung her blazer before sitting at one of the desks.

So far only Sven was there so far.

Imogen took a seat. She sat with a dancer's posture and waited patiently. Each arriving member was greeted with a polite smile and slight nod. They were there for work, not socializing. Well not in this moment anyway.

Miss Kitamura entered, bringing tea. It was a very British thing, tea and while she often preferred an espresso she appreciated the work the woman had done. Especially since both tea and coffee were hard to attain now. Standing she poured herself a cup and returned to her seat.

She took notes as he talked, in shorthand of course. It was something Matthieu had taught her when she had first shown and interest in his work. It was his special shorthand that others wouldn't be able to immediately figure out but not so complex that one wouldn't eventually get it. After all neither she or Matthieu had done any work in cryptography.

Imogen frowned a little at the idea of jungles. She did better at dinner parties and such where she could talk information from people. Armed mission and seaplane also got her attention but she said nothing as she made her notes. She began to make a packing list as well. Imogen listened to see if there were questions. At the moment she felt that things seemed straight forward. She wasn't entirely sure what her role would be but she trust Sven's judgement.

Her eyes raised at Miss Kitamura's question, her pencil pausing as she waited for the answer. It was indeed a good question. It was good to know exactly what they were getting themselves into and for what purpose.

My post will be up this afternoon.
Hope you feel bettter @DepressedSoviet Not a fun time of year to be unwell.
Done. Thank so for the help!@DepressedSoviet

@DepressedSoviet let me know what you think so far. I can add the current situation to show her working with the group because of her husband's connection.
Agreed. I meant to have her in when this first went up but got silly busy. However it gave me a chance to see everyone's else characters and find something that might fit.

How is this so far? Thinking maybe Mathieu was connected with the organization. She is good for infiltration and information. If not her I have another idea for a professor though it seems we have a lot of scholarly types.

Slender and lean, Imogen carries herself with great poise and grace. She is stylishly dressed and blends well in high society crowds. Her hair is always neatly pinned up or styled to fit whatever occasion she may be attending.

Imogen wears very little in the way of makeup, preferring a fresh and natural look though she isn't above highlighting her large blue eyes when dressing up.

Her nails are always done with a basic french manicure and her perfume a delicate floral scent. Imogen carries a french accent and has the tendency to slip into using french words when flustered.

Imogen is a dancer and singer, at one point a star in the Paris theatre scene. She carries a reputation, both her own and her husbandโ€™s that allows her access to people and places others could not easily get to. She also became very interested in anthropology, mythology and occult through her husband.

Imogen would describe herself as refined, polite and controlled in all things. She remembers everything a skill she carries over from her theatre work.

Feeling weak or out of control

Born to just outside Paris. Imogen was an only child. At a young age she was enrolled in ballet and singing lessons. She was brought into the Paris ballet and soon โ€˜discoveredโ€™ by a theatre company owner. She became a performer and star in the Paris theater scene. She was able to meet a lot of influential people and learned many secrets from men courting her favour.

When she was 22 she traveled to Canada with the theatre group and there she met Mathieu Trondeau. A scholar and professor he taught anthropology and mythology at the University of Montreal. He was eighteen years her senior. The pair married in secret just two months after meeting.

Her father died that same year and her mother a year later. Mathieu moved to France to be with her and allow her to continue her performing. He got a job working in a museum. All of her free time was spent with Mathieu enjoying life in Paris, making friends with the well to do and military elite who enjoyed the theater or researching with him.

Four years ago she and Mathieu were out for an evening of Opera and drinks when, walking down a back alley they were accosted by three men. Mathieu, protective of his wife took a beating from the men. Imogen was dragged into an alley and assaulted. Mathieu died of his injuries.
