Stannis Krolikov, Juno Aulia, Edwin Gordon, Linnea Falk Unknown Forest, travelling to the village by dirt road.
---
"Alright." She began, "I'm sure most of you have your own questions to ask, I know I do, but for now, we need to get to the village. We don't know what's in this forest that might have a hankering for us, and I sure as hell do not want to find out. That clay tiger can be replaced, but if you die, you die, so we best move. Now, before it gets dark." Juno began to travel towards the village. Stas looked up at the sky and noted the current position of the sun, making an estimate of how much sunlight they had left. The night didn't bother him, nor did the possible predators. He recalled him night training, and they were travelling by road. Animals usually avoided roads, Stas thought. He might be wrong though. What did bother him was who else would be travelling under the cover of darkness, he carried out many military operations during the night, and heard that many FOBs had been attacked during the night. The night was a friend to attackers and a foe to defenders. He looked at the floating child and at Edwin the Artist, he would definitely be on the defensive if their group was under attack.
The floating girl opted to gain altitude to act as the navigator. As the group took their first steps, Stas took up the rearguard. They hadn't gone far however, when their navigator flew right back down and reported that three men were running right towards them. He cursed under his breath and Edwin spoke up, "Officer Hightower, Colonel Klink and Wendy Darling, I think we should really pick up the pace. I smell burning and it doesn't exactly look like it's getting any darker." He picked up the pace and walked closer to Juno. Stas jogged right by his side, "Just call me Stas." Ignoring the nickname that Edwin had given him, "If those guys turn out to be hostiles, I want you to dive into the bush and hide while Juno and I are keeping them busy. Don't run, they'll spot you and run you down. Just keep your head down and be well hidden." He instructed, "If I go down I'll try and go down near you, so you can pick up the spear." He pointed at Linnea, who was hovering above them, "You too. First sign of trouble I want you to bail out, keep an eye on Edwin so you two can link up after the battle if Juno and I are down."
He jogged up next to Juno. "I've told the flyer to bail and Edwin to hide if the three guys approaching turn out to be hostile." He sniffed and confirmed what Edwin had said, "And something is on fire. What's the play ma'am?"
Equipment: -Carapace Armor, a kitbash if anyone has ever seen one. Gregor combined Cadian "Kasrkin" Pattern Stormtrooper armor with Tempestus Scion armor. He uses the Kasrkin bodyarmor and pauldrons, while using the Scion greaves, gauntlets and helmet. The backpack is from the Scion armor set. Despite the occasional complaint from the local Techpriest, this kitbashed armor does not seem to hate Gregor, instead, the armor has saved his life on numerous occasions. Gregor keeps his armor gunmetal black with a steel grey trim. To cut down on weight, he has excluded the armor that covers his thighs. The Inquisition I can be seen on his left boot, and his pauldrons. The carapace armor includes a microbead for communication, photovisor(NightVision), rebreather, and an integral auspex with a wrist display. While most wrist mounted auspex are mounted on the topside of the wrist, Gregor has opted to flip it and mount it on the bottom side of his left arm. This allows him to keep his Meltagun up and gives him the ability to look at his auspex with only a glance. -Accatran Pattern Mark VIII Meltagun, Gregor prefers the Accatran Mk.VIII over other Meltaguns due to its lighter weight, and the addition of a carrying handle. He has a bandoleer with several melta canisters on it. On his left hip is some webbing, he typically has two or three canisters strapped there too. -A shortsword and Combat knife, the sword sheath is mounted at his lower back. He has an additional standard issue Imperial Guard combat knife, strapped to his left pauldron, used for when things get really bad, or he's in a space too small for his sword. -A Mars Pattern Mark IV Command Laspistol, right hip holster. He uses the slightly heavier Mars Mk.IV due to its increased range. Since if there is no armor for him to blast, he's not going to waste any Melta charges on mere cultists, he's going to use a regular gun. Usually keeps his spare chargepacks wherever he can put them, pockets, on some combat webbing, sometimes strapped onto his gauntlets or even his boots. The amount of chargepacks he has usually ends up at around four or five, not including the one in the pistol. -Explosives, Gregor usually carries several Meltabombs in his backpack, he uses them like bricks of C4. He also usually carries one or two frag grenades somewhere on his body within easy reach.
Notable Deeds/Skills: -Survivor of Operation Grey Gold. Operation Grey Gold was a mission lead by Inquisitor Caphus into rebel territory. Inquisitor Caphus needed to investigate if the rebels were dealing with Chaos. He requisitioned a platoon of nearby Guardsmen to help him punch through rebel lines. Gregor, having just been drafted into the Guard was among the Guardsmen who were in that platoon. That was his first mission, at 18 years old. At the end of Operation Grey Gold, only three of the platoon had survived. Gregor was one of the three. Rather than letting them back into the Guard, Inquisitor Caphus recruited them into his retinue. -Bane of Armor. Gregor has a knack for destroying armored units. Whether it be Dreadnoughts, Tanks, APCs, IFVs, planes, if its armored, Gregor probably knows how to kill it. He has spent weeks studying records of vehicles, so much so that if something new appears, he can look at it with only a glance and guess where its fuel tanks are, where the crew are sitting, where the ammo racks are held, and its possible weak points. -AT Specialist. Gregor's knack for killing armored units has earned him access to much of the anti-tank weapons in the armory. He is an expert with the meltagun, and decent with rocket launchers. He is proficient with a lascannon, only because he spent much of his lascannon practice time having fun with heavy stubbers and heavy bolters. -Creative. Gregor is a creative fellow. He once dressed up as a rebel and infiltrated a rebel camp, only to realize that the rebels were also chaos cultists. He may have nervously said some mildly heretical things to keep his cover, while he secretly planted bombs to distract the bulk of the enemy force. Ultimately his disguise failed when he accidentally blew up their latrines with one of the bombs he had planted. -Veteran. Despite his somewhat unimpressive origins, having started out as an Imperial Guard Conscript, he has grown to become a combat veteran. Being just as elite as Stormtroopers. This is due to working with said Stormtroopers constantly, Gregor has picked up on their tricks, techniques, and has even received field training from some of them. Although field training is a little optimistic, it was more like dragging him around and yelling at him in the middle of battle, but he got the message.
Time with Inquisitor: 9 Years, Gregor's lost count of how many missions he's been on with the Inquisitor. Appearance: Gregor stands at 5 feet, 7 inches. His skin is a little on the paler side since he got his carapace armor. His black hair is kept in a military styled buzzcut. His eyes are brown in color. As a Guardsman, he is fit and strong, able to carry all of his equipment and walk around for as long as his Inquisitor needs him to without getting too tired. He is also capable of sprinting with all of his gear, which is particularly useful when he's going to blast a tank or a daemon. His face is unscarred and he looks a little younger than he actually is. To be honest, out of his carapace armor, he looks like a typical guardsman. Nothing really spectacular.
40K Knowledge Question: Erebus, that filthy traitor.

Stannis Krolikov, Juno Aulia, Edwin Gordon, Linnea Falk Unknown Forest, by an unknown dirt road.
---
"I see. Juno Aulia, police officer." She introduced herself. "I assume everyone here is heading to the village on account of some dream?" "Some sort of half-asleep voice, but it's close enough. Good to meet you Officer Aulia." Stas replied, he leaned over and picked up his spear again, shaking it a little to get the dirt off. He noticed the other man, with rather impressive hair approaching him, rather awkwardly smiling and keeping his hands away from his body like Stas was some sort of enemy pointing a rifle at him.
"Hi, Soldier...Krolikov? Am I pronouncing it right? That is a very big and sharp looking spear you have there. I must admit it is quite intimidating, certainly much larger than the dinky little crafting scalpel in my left pocket. Well I suppose size isn't everything, or am I saying that to make myself feel better?" The man nervously laughed, then he turned towards Juno. "And yooooooou are a... tall drink of water Officer Aulia. Might I say that is a very fetching dress you are sporting. The colour suits you." He paused and glanced at her horn, "I can't say that I am here for any particular reason, I'm not in the habit of taking advice from my dreams." Stas sort of looked at him with a mildly concerned look. "Now where are my manners, my name is Edwin Gordon, artist by passion and by trade, it is a pleasure to meet such... strong, capable looking individuals, but I really should be looking for my little Clay Tiger." The man with the impressive hair introduced himself. As he was just about to leave, a small child came over. Flying. Stopping just above them hovering. Stas blinked twice, rubbed his eyes and poked himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming. He wasn't sure how she was flying, but she was.
"Hi, um- hi. Eh-Excuse me, the village..." She said, then pointing up the road, "The village is over that way. It's not far, but maybe it will take us a while to get there... maybe." Edwin and the girl began to talk, using that as his cue, Stas walked over to Juno. Inhaled deeply and let out a hearty exhale. "Well. Despite the uh... Flying girl," Pointing back at the artist and the flying one with his thumb, "And Edwin's missing small clay tiger. We have a direction now to the village. What do you think we should do?" He asked, looking up at what he could describe as a paler, horned Amazon.
