Protect sunface? The long journey hadn't taken a toll on the physical fit Muu, and she had luckily managed to eat a meal before departure. Thus, up until now, even if she had been worried, things had been more-or-less fine. But now? If worst came to worst, how was she supposed to protect?

The girl was a Bladedancer. What did the Knight think that entailed? If worst came to worst, it meant she had to simply kill the enemy fast enough to never lay a finger(or tongue) on the priest. It was a stupid toad anyway, right? So if she were to stand back, wouldn't she be fine? But what if not? Ultimately, compared to these two veterans, their life was expected to be expendable. Sure, Muu could serve as a meatshield, a very, very, fragile meatshield.

It was only after Gwyn spoke to Muu that the brunette managed to calm down a bit. The smile of the masked woman radiated a familiar feeling of comfort. "Y-Yes!" Muu stammered out to Gwyn as she smacked her own cheeks. "Thank you." She also whispered to Gwyn, although not sure if she even heard. Finally done with pitying herself as the weakest, she drew her sword.

Moving closer and closer in prone position towards the general direction, the brunette sooner or later saw the toad. Was it really that dangerous? Poisonous, right? She didn't even wanna think about what this thing could do considering her experience with the goblins. Instead, she concentrated on the only thing that mattered. Dashing forward at quick speed just to break off to the side opposite of Matteo, her scarlet scarf waving behind her.

"He...hehe..." Not too high into the sky, just barely enough to not crash into any ruins/trees, was a certain girl clinging onto a drone - way larger than the usual size - from above. "C'mon...!" She complained as the drone kept moving forward. "Faster!" Before one of her eye's lighted up for a moment and the drones speed increased. "Just a bit more..." The girl kept talking to herself with a smile - despite blood running down the corner of her mouth.

It was all about the timing. Some people were on-time, others too early (or too late), a few never even showed up, protagonists were all about being fashionably late, and a handful of morons were too-too early. Today, this particular girl was neither of those. Too late for being fashionable, yet too early to be too-too-too late. Today, Rin-Rin would simply be better late than never.

'Why?' one could wonder; 'Because.' would be her answer.

It took Rin a few more seconds but, finally, beyond the mushroom cloud, she could see them: Her allies. Not only were there her fellow trainees, but also her team! Having left most of her mandatory sensory equipment behind it appeared more and more that 'heading towards the big explosion that looked like Falk's head' had indeed been the bestest choice.

Now, here she was. Letting the piece of junk descend in a crash-landing like manner, the raven-haired girl jumped off meters before hitting the ground. Landing out of pure coincidence rather closely next to Falk's tree, Rin-Rin stretched out her arms before saying. "DYNAMIC ENTRANCE!... You got nothing to fear, Rin-Rin's here!" Right, enemies. Despite giving off the slight vibe of a sickly child, Rin stared directly towards her other team member, Yui. Rin's eye lightning up, nose now bleeding, Yui could suddenly feel the muscles in her legs tighten!
Muu's eyes widened. Fear. Embarrassment. Insecurity. Just what the hell was Matteo doing!? And why had Muu followed behind him, rather than staying further away? Muu's face was red with shame. As much as the comments he did about themselves hurt, it was the truth. And what reason would have two veterans to have them three tag along? Zero. None. Absolutely nothing. Was Matteo really that desperate? Or rather, was their situation really THAT bad? Muu was aware they weren't doing good, but this...?

Regardless, what was done had been done, and all Muu could was die of shame try to hide her face even deeper inside her scarf as she made a deep bow. "P-Please..." A dry whisper. Since there was no turning back, she could as well do her best to help him.

@KoL@TheWindel Now that RPGuild works again for me I changed the Psychic Drive to what we talked about.
Hello!

First of, I absolutely detest writing anything too long while being mobile. So IPL try to keep it relatively short, maybe the problem is known.

So, basically, since yesterday I can't connect to rpguild anymore with my home Wi-Fi. Not just from my computer but also someone elses laptop or my mobile phone.

I get a this site can't be reached blabla roleplayerguile.com refused to connect. I tried a bunch of things already. Clearing cache, restarting Moden, teying different Browser, flush DNS, renew ipconfig and so on.

I can provide more technical data if required.

It happened from one day to the next without any input from my side.

Hope I can get some hell and thanks for your time.
Hungry, thirsty, and still in some pain, Muu couldn't feel any happier about the broken man's gift, quickly gulping it down. Too quickly, in fact, as she started coughing and needing a moment to collect herself. "Thank you." The girl responded in a whisper. Not because her voice felt still a bit dry, but because of the embarrassing moment.

Listening to her two comrades, their situation seemed to be even worse than before. Was this some kind of snowball effect? They barely survived, and now everything seemed even harder? Just how much debts did she have by now!? By the sounds of it, she had to win the lottery or something to make up. And who would want to join a band of three misfits anyway? No. If anyone was useless, it was Muu herself. She should be grateful they hadn't just ditched her. After all, it looked liked she was out of commission the longest.

"I'm sorry..." The girl whispered in a pitiful voice before realizing that the two had already left the room. "...?" Before realizing the reason and her face turning into an even brighter tomato.

5 minutes passed before the now clothed girl stepped out of the room. Her red scarf hiding most of her face once again, she already felt a lot more at ease. "I'm ready..." Muu stated to the two. "To go, uh, r-recruiting?" She was by no means convinced about that at all, and would much rather fill her belly, but of course, these were thoughts she'd keep for herself.
Can Re:Phrase work on human beings and Invaders?

Re:Phrase works on human beings and Invaders.

If so, to what extent of that detail can she read.

It'd be highly ineffective against Aliens Invaders though. I was hoping the extra-bit in the extras was elaborative enough?
Basically, I imagined, she would be able to read something, but couldn't do anything with it. Like reading a manual in a foreign language that doesn't even use our alphabet.

Fellow humans, on the other hand, are more like an open book. I know this sounds eeeeehhh and meeeehhh BUT Rin Rin-Rin isn't the kind of gal to go around and use her ability on all the things just for the sake of information. That's not her style.

Also I just wanna put emphasis again on her having to purposefully wanting to know a certain bit of information before activating Re:Phrase to get that information. So it's not like she uses it to buff someone and suddenly she finds out that someone's real name isn't the name they have been using all along.

Pretty weak reasoning, coming from a stranger such as I, I know, but it is what it is.

Bottom line though, I never even thought/intended for this 'information reading' until I was about to write down my power idea and it just made sense to include it for the sake of keeping it coherent. Because she has to see that stuff to be able to alter it. It's not really a part of her power I was intending to explore much anyway. Just more fluuffff. Rin-Rin's not intelligent enough to make good use of it anyway <3.

Furthermore, elaborate on how this ability buffs people. Is she just bending reality piece by piece or using PSI of some kind.

Eeeehhh. Is there really much of a difference? I haven't thought too much about that! Basically, I was thinking of her temporary tampering with the values of someone else. Like their strength, or perception! And by getting to know people better she can have a greater effect too, thanks to Resonance. This basically serves that she isn't able to just go around and modify everybody and their mother as she pleases. Even against a Human ENEMY, she wouldn't be able to do much because being enemies usually implies not getting along that well in the first place.

So yeah, it serves buffing. While she could 'theoretically' debuff stuff, it doesn't really make too much sense to use it like that.

If I had to put some numerical values on it, to maybe but it in a better perspective example. Say, you can buff a stat by 20 for 50 mana, but you can also debuff an enemy by 2 for 50 mana.

@Skyswimsky

To elaborate. That ability is too close to low-key Reality Warping powers for us to allow it without better explanations. After you clear that up we can consider any necessary tweaks.

I know that, on paper, her ability sounds rather powerful. I need muh chuuni fluff But here I was hoping I have put enough limitations on it to make it a-okay! Hopefully, explaining to Windel made it clearer.

Re:Phrase works on humans, yah, Windel. It's part of her history.
<Snipped quote>

I just wanna add do this. I'm very well aware I even underlined temporary further up. Yet, suddenly here, in her past bio, I went full 'permanently'. I just included it for a bit of comedic fun incident and some silly reason to have her be smol.

If I had to be more technical(urgh), however, essentially she's at, like, 'maximum Resonance' with herself to allow such a substantial change without just outright killing herself. And maybe, just maybe, because Anime a cruel twist of fate thought it'd be nice to punish her and keep it like that.

That scared her enough that in a "do-or-die", with the 'do' being 'use your Psychic Drive on yourself', situation she would just die. If this is of any problem, however, I don't mind changing it.
