Karthus stands just over 6 feet tall with broad shoulders and a clear athletic build that exudes both power and endurance from his years of training and constant fighting. His brownish hair is often kept to a medium length and slicked back down the middle while the sides are shaved close to the skin giving him a clear military look. To compliment the military look Karthus is almost always wearing his Jedi armor that consist of black and gray colors with several red cracks adorning it showing where the armor has been damaged and repaired over the years.
Adding to this rather imposing and intimidating look Karthus also has two other rather noticeable characteristics that make him stand out even amongst Jedi. The first of these is a black cybernetic prosthetic arm that replaces his left one. The second of these characteristics is the large black mask that covers a little more than the left half of his face. Unlike most who use new inventions to try and hide their prosthetic limbs, Karthus makes no attempt to hide these scars, taking them as a badge of honor and reminder of the cost of failure.

{Equipment and Personal Belongings}
-Double bladed Lightsaber: The double bladed lightsaber has always been a rarity of the Jedi and even the Sith for much of the galaxy's history. A weapon of extreme aggression and offensive capabilities allowing its user to unleash a rabid flurry of blows that often are enough to overwhelm most single opponents. The saber itself has an extra long hilt allowing for a wider grip and more maneuverability around his body. The blades of the saber are a deep orange color that mixes well with his darker clothing colors.
-Imperial battle Armor: A remnant of the early days of the clone wars, the armor is constructed from the original phase 1 clone armor. The armor has been modified to better fit his larger frame while still keeping its durability. While the phase 1 variant is less maneuverable then it’s later models it is more resistant being more reliable to absorb a blaster bolt that Karthus is unable to block. However to ensure that the armor is not too restrictive Karthus only wears it around his chest, shoulders and forearms giving him a bit of both worlds.
-Prosthetic Arm and Mask: Souvenirs from the siege of Vinsoth, these metal prosthetics not only replace what was lost by him but also have enhanced certain aspects. Most clearly visible to anyone would be the obvious advantage of having a metal hand and arm when in close quarters fights. While the arm does have some disadvantages like all electrical devices, it does carry the boon of being much stronger and durable. The Mask itself also, while not necessary for his survival, allows for breathing to be easier and hides the scars covering the left side of his face. Additionally it allows for information to be displayed in front of his left eye.
-The Covor: A modified Star courier that is designed to fit the uses of a Guardian in the empire. The ship has had its offensive and defensive capabilities enhanced through the addition of extra laser cannons, torpedo launchers, and better shielding. Of course to account for these changes most of the luxury parts were stripped down to be more utilitarian rather than opulence.

{Physical Abilities}
-Jedi Prodigy: From a young age Karthus has shown a natural affinity for both the force and lightsaber training. Though he shows great ability in both of these sides of Jedi training, Karthus leans more into the physical aspects of his training. Most of his force powers are used to enhance his saber combat further creating a deadly combination.
-Student of War: Karthus has always shown a particular love of martial practices in whatever form they present themselves in. For many years it was sparring in lightsaber duels with either other padawans or masters in the temples. In more recents times though Karthus rarely finds himself actually fighting other opponents with lightsabers let alone other force wielders. Now most fights Karthus finds himself in take place across battlefields as the men he leads follow closely behind him into the thick of the fray.
-Athletic Build: Karthus has a very athletic build that is the perfect combination of agility and power. His years training and fighting on the front lines have developed his body in the more lean and explosive muscle structure as opposed to the usual big and bulky type. This allows him to still have considerable power in his strikes while also leaving him enough ability to quickly change his placement, truly taking advantage of both his fighting style and Lightsaber.

{Limitations}
-Politically naive: For all his skill and prowess in both the force and saber combat Karthus is hopeless when it comes to out of snakes that is politics. This is due in large part to not being able to rationalize how individuals could plot and backstab one another to the detriment of the empire. He is aware that such people exist in the galaxy as evident by its current state, but how they think is beyond him. To Karthus all should be willing to give everything to something greater than themselves regardless of their own ambitions or feelings. At best this often makes Karthus oblivious to potentially corrupt leaders and at worst makes him an easy target for manipulation.
-Martyr Complex: Karthus is consistently seen leading his men from the front and being the first one to rush into danger. He constantly attempts to bear the full weight of whatever trial or tribulation is set before him. While this may be seen as honorable to some and has made him quite a popular Jedi to fight alongside, it has led to rather reckless behavior at times. While it has mostly worked out well in the past, it is the root cause of many of his injuries including his lost arm and scarred face.
-Pull of the Dark: Like many younglings when they are first learning of the force there is always that slight pull to the dark that feeds off the unknowing negative emotions of the young. For just about all however this is an insignificant temptation that fades after time and only serves as a reminder of the focus Jedi must maintain. For Karthus however this pull was and is something more. Even as a youngling there was something in the boy that called and pushed him toward feeding on his emotions. These were kept in check for the most part both by his master and himself. However with the death of his master and constant state of war, Karthus has found himself leaning more and more into his emotions for power even now developing the ability to occasionally call on lighting.

{Personality}
A warrior through and through, Karthus has developed a dedication to warfare that teeters on the edge of zealotry at times. The product of growing up under constant war and threat of invasion, Karthus has come to believe that warfare is the best and only answer to ensure the survival and the security of the empire. These feelings and upbringing have greatly shaped how he views the territories surrounding the empire, viewing many of them as weak or cowardice for not willing to do what is necessary in his eyes.
This mindset and thought process serves as the root of his fighting style and how he handles the battlefield. Karthus focuses mainly on offense, seeing it as the best way to keep your opponent from creating a well throughout plan. While this particular tactical doctrine has landed both Karthus and his men in hot water on occasion, Karthus has always managed to pull through and maintain the respect of those around him because of his willingness of being in the front rather than staging back giving orders.
To contrast the look of a hardened and seasoned soldier, Karthus acts in a completely different manner around the average citizen of the empire. The few times he is able to be on an otherwise peaceful portion of the empire Karthus can be seen strolling through the streets acting as what some would call a “Giant Ewok in Jedi armor.” Despite his rather scary appearance Karthus would always take the time to greet any of the children that were brave enough to approach him doing his best to show he was smiling under his half mask. Despite all his love of Martial training or fighting the separatist this was his favorite portion of being a Jedi in the order, seeing the people of the empire safe, protected and full of hope, and some would even say this was his real personality.

{Place of Origin}
Corvus.
{Background}
Karthus was born on a small insignificant outer rim planet known as Corvus in the waning days of the clone wars. His planet had mostly avoided the clone wars as it served little importance to either side to warrant a full scale invasion. However with the news of the glassing of Coruscant many feared that the CIS would finally turn its attention to those few planets that had managed to go by unnoticed until that point. So when the first Imperial Venators arrived in the atmosphere the planet agreed to join without hesitation accepting all the costs which included giving Karthus to the Shadow Council.
In the Shadow Council Karthus thrived as a prodigal student far surpassing his fellow students. While this did at times earn him the ire of his fellow students, the masters of the temple took an interest in the young boy. Impressing the masters in charge of training, Karthus was quickly pushed ahead of his peers and allowed more advanced training then what was normal. This continued several times throughout his early days as a padawan as he quickly outpaced even some of the masters within the order.
The advanced training could only take him so far however until he became bored of them and ran out of sparring partners to train with. Karthus in his young and naive arrogance continuously requested “real training” or something more challenging. Finally both his master and the higher ups relented and gave the boy what he wanted, both to silence him and hopefully humble him. What they could have anticipated however was how viciously true their hopes would become.
It was while on their way to reinforce one of the many border systems within the empire that Karthus and his master received the emergency call to travel to Ilum. Here Karthus was exposed to the real horrors of war and the price that had to be paid to defend the empire. Everyone lost something that day, many lost their lives or were maimed beyond repair. Karthus in his part lost both his arrogance and his master on the cursed planet.
Not given the time to mourn, Karthus was immediately sent out to assist in the reconquering the territory the empire had lost as a result of Ilum. Fueled by the feelings of guilt and anger at his failures Karthus participated in many battles along the north east side of the Empire until he finally came to Vinsoth. The liberation of Vinsoth proved to be one of the harshest battles the empire had experienced in some time. The siege of the strategically placed planet lasted 2 years as both sides dedicated countless resources to achieve victory. The fighting was brutal and the resistance was savage as Karthus and his forces pushed farther and farther into the planet's defenses. It was during these battles that Karthus would receive both of his robotic prosthetics. Finally at the cost of millions of lives and his own left arm and side of his face, the battle was won and he was made a full Guardian of the shadow council and heralded by many as a hero.
