So, I've decided to separate my RP plots into two threads, this one for Slice of Life, real world ones and this one for more unrealistic, fantasy based ones. Before I get onto my plots, however, I have some rules I'd like you to read. Just the usual stuff really, but please give them a read anyway!

Rules

• As a final year university student, I have periods of time where I'll be very busy with exams and assignments. As such, I'll let you know when these things come up. Please be understanding if I have to disappear for a week or two and I'll do the same for you.
• I RP over PMs. I like having one PM thread for OOC and another for IC posts. I find that it's much neater this way and I find it much easier to keep up with RPs this way.
• On maturity levels and limits, I'd prefer to discuss this over PM. I do have some limits, as do most people I'm sure. I'm willing to fade to black or play it out BUT that doesn't mean that I want to cyber. It needs to be pertinent to the plot.
• I expect good grammar and spelling please. It's very hard for me to get into an RP if I need to enlist a translator to read it. As for post length, I'm not too picky. Just no one liners, please. I'm perfectly fine with speedposting single paragraphs back and forth and I'm also fine with typing out paragraphs and paragraphs.
• I'm much better at playing female characters. You may persuade me to play a male if it's a double or a MxM plot. If your plot is good enough, it might be possible to get me to play a male straight up. In case of a double up, please put equal effort into both characters. Too many times, people have ended up forcing me to drop one character because they've forgotten about theirs.
• If playing out mature scenes, please be 18+. If you're not, I'll fade to black or just avoid it altogether.

Plots

Thousandfurs

Based on a fairy tale called Allerleirauh, recorded by the Brothers Grimm. The fairy tale goes as follows:

A king promises his dying wife to honour her last request. She asks that he only remarries if he can find one who is as beautiful and as kind as she. As years go on, the King searches the lands to find someone to match his wife but finds that the only one that can is his daughter.

In order to escape the wedding, his daughter agrees to marry him if he can meet her every request. She asks for three gowns, one gold as the sun, one silver as the moon and one that sparkled with all the light of the stars. Along with her gowns, she asks for a cloak made from the fur of one of every creature found in his kingdom.

When he succeeds, she plans an escape with the four gifts, a ring, a hair pin and a family heirloom. The princess runs through the night, using the cloak as cover in the darkness and covering her fair skin in dirt so she isn't recognises. Somehow, she makes it to the neighbouring kingdom where the young prince finds her and names her Thousandfurs when she refuses to tell him her name. He gives her a place to work in his kitchens.

When the king holds a ball, she sneaks out and attends it in her silver dress. The prince dances with her, asking for her name and getting no answer. She slips away early. That evening, the cook orders her to make a soup for the prince and she puts her golden ring into it. The prince discovers it and questions the cook. He then questions Thousandfurs, but she reveals nothing.

The next ball, she again attends. This time, she wear her golden dress and again, the Prince finds her. When she is asked to make the soup again, she hides her hairpin. She again reveals nothing when questioned as Thousandfurs. By this point, the prince is desperate to know who the mystery princess is.

The third ball, she attends in her dress of stars. The prince dances with her, slipping a golden ring on her finger without her noticing it and orders that the last dance go on longer than usual. She is unable to get away in time to change, able only to throw her fur cloak over her clothing before she has to cook the soup.

When the prince questions her this time, he catches her hand and discovers the ring. When she tries to escape, her cloak slips and her shining dress is revealed. The prince proposes to her immediately, begging for the name of the girl that stole his heart.

I'd like to RP something based around this story, with our own twists and such. Maybe we swap the genders around. Maybe Thousandfurs's father comes looking for her and declares war. Maybe the cloak gives her shapeshifter abilities. I don't know. Help me brainstorm~

Roommates With Secrets TAKEN

Not much of a plot but...

In their Super lives, our characters are enemies. One is a superhero and the other is their archnemesis. In their civilian lives, they're friends and roommates. Basically a rom-com. Interesting situations when they come home injured or something.

Any gender pairing, platonic or romantic relationships welcome on this plot.

Injuries TAKEN

While driving home on a quiet backstreet, A spots a wounded animal on the side of the road. Having a soft spot for suffering creatures, A pulls over and scoops the animal up into the backseat of their car. They drives home with the good intention of nursing the poor animal back to health, unaware that the animal (B) is really a shapeshifter. After making a comfortable place for B to sleep, A heads off to bed. Some time during the night, B returns to human form. When A returns to check on B in the morning, they are shocked to find a human in their place. When they awaken, B tries their best to explain what’s going on without terrifying A. According to shapeshifter law, B now owes A their loyalty and must stay with them until the debt is repaid. Unfortunately, A is now in danger. Shapeshifter law also states that they must kill any human that finds their secret.

MxF, MxM, FxF, it doesn't matter on this one. I'd like there to be romance in this though.

Broken Hearted NEW

Based on the webtoon Siren's Lament.

A is a siren, an underwater seeker of broken hearted and lovelorn people. They lure them into the sea, calling them with promises of a new life and an escape from the pain. Upon agreement, a contract is made and the human loses their memories, gains a tail and is curse to wander the seas until they can pass on their contract. The Siren gains legs and a new chance at human life.

B encounters A one night, lovelorn and depressed. They get lured into the contract but change their mind halfway through. Instead of the curse being passed on, it is shared between them. A now has legs but both need to return to the sea every so often to retain their health. Somehow, they must find a way of lifting the curse off themselves.

I don't have any preference on which role I play. MxM, MxF, FxF, I don't mind. Take your pick! Requesting romance on this one please, since the plot centres so much on love.

Now, not all of these have to be romantic. I do love having romance in my RPs but they don't all have to include it. I've specified which ones can be platonic. Have a read through and if any of these catch your eye or if you have a plot you think I'd enjoy, please PM me or post here~

Opposite Sides TAKEN

After a lifetime of crime, a notorious thief's been in hiding. He had pulled off the biggest heists the world had ever seen. He stole priceless jewels, works of art, even fossils if there was a demand for them on the black market. But then he just disappeared without a trace. No new crimes popped up. No one knew his name and there were no witnesses to his crime. It was as if he had never existed. Settling in the heart of London, he lived a quiet life. He'd sworn off thievery, quitting before he got too cocky. And for the first time in a long time, he had friends. They know nothing of his dark past. He never spoke about it. None of them knew anything beyond what had happened in his life prior to London. But will he be able to resist the call of the thrills of crime?

She was his neighbour and close friend. An ordinary office worker. Or so he thought anyway. She lived a double life. A field agent for a top secret agency that only the top people at MI6 had ever even heard of, she was at the top of her game. She's been on this thief's case for a long time and, frustrated when nothing happened for a whole year and the trail growing cold, she and her team set up a trap they knew he couldn't resist. What happens when the two friends meet, time and time again, as enemies on the opposite sides of the law?

This will have scenes where they're normal civilians and at the scenes of his crimes. Romance etc. etc... Genders can be swapped and this can be MxF, FxF or MxM

Reversal of Roles TAKEN

A is a high-powered executive in an extremely successful, Fortune 500 ranked company. She also harbours a well-guarded secret. Off the clock, the busy executive lives a submissive lifestyle, frequenting certain clubs to indulge her needs and desires.

B is looking to get his foot in the door at a major company in the city’s financial district. After many gruelling interviews and more than his fair share of rejections, he is hired for the position of personal assistant to A.

A is incredibly demanding and has no problem letting an assistant go for something as trivial as going to the wrong place to get her latte, but B is determined to wow A with his focus and relentless drive to succeed, refusing to be expendable like so many of A’s previous personal assistants.

When B shows up in A’s office for the first day of work, they lock eyes and are rendered speechless. The recognition is instant. B was A’s dominant at their last visit to the club just one week prior.

I'd much prefer to be A in this plot. This can be FxF or MxF.

Christmas Spirit

With Christmas approaching, there's a certain magic in the air. A has always loved the holiday and has been busily decorating their apartment and running around buying gifts for those around them. B is their neighbour and is very much a Grinch. The two often run into each other and A takes it upon themselves to change B's mind about the holiday, trying to spread the Christmas cheer as much as they can and uncover B's reasons for not liking the holiday.

I know, not very detailed. I just wanted something heartwarming and fun and Christmas is approaching~! MxM, FxF, MxF, whatever. It doesn't have to include romance. It could be just a platonic friendship if that's preferred. Just let me know!

Insomnia & Baking

A is the owner and baker of a successful local cafe. They also suffer from terrible insomnia and spend most nights in their cafe baking for the next day of business and creating new recipes. One night, A is overwhelmed by the warmth in the kitchen and takes a moment outside while one of their batches of cupcakes is in the oven. It's there where they meet B. B is homeless and has decided to take refuge in the little alleyway behind the store, scavenging through the bins to find some food that A had thrown out earlier.

A and B can be strangers or they can have previous history. Perhaps they were childhood friends, neighbours, or perhaps one used to bully the other. It's another heartwarming RP and one that doesn't need romance. It could very easily be just friendship.
