The redhead closed his green eyes, trying to give a dramatic sigh but a small smile curled his lips up slightly regardless. Ah. The woes of being the school sweetheart. He gave a light chuckle and gave her a little almost devious look.
“Unfortunately not a one of them would know what to do with me if they ever actually got hold of me,” His voice went an octave deeper for just a slight moment and then he gave her a cheerful smile.
It wasn't like Suichi to dwell much on anything aside from his classes and generally being happy and sweet.
“ As for the work,” he offered her in that soft, near delicate voice once more, “I am certain we can find time after classes to discuss where you are in need of assistance.”
Kurama glanced around himself briefly, “We can find the classes you're struggling in and perhaps schedule time when I can offer you tutoring...You seem quite the bright young woman. I'm certain you'll catch on.”
He knew that she would easily understand his meaning. Kurama was sharp as a tack... and it was easy enough to conceal his honest meaning under the plain talk.
Another young woman approaching him almost cautiously. “ Drama club is meeting... Suichi- Senpai...”
He almost seemed exasperated at the added honorific she tagged to the end of his name.
“I apologize!” He stated smoothly instead, “I forgot completely...Please inform them that they may start without me.”
She flushed brilliantly, “ Of course...” The young woman gave Botan a cursory once over before she rushed away.
“I am afraid that is my calling to go...” He offered to her. Kurama gave her a curious glance himself, trying to figure out what else there was that she had to do here. He hadn't sensed anything out of the ordinary until she'd shown up, not even Hiei. So... what exactly had the Reaper here, certainly by Koenma's orders, she would still be working if it were not so.
“Perhaps we can speak after school more,” He flashed his teeth at her lightly, “ It was nice to meet you Botan.”
Kurama turned lightly and strode in the direction the girl had gone, catching up with a small group of young men as he exited the room. He smiled and laughed quietly with them as they slipped farther down the hall way and out of sight.
