Something like this.

They respond by killing a bunch of Vietnamese citizens? Yeah, that's actually what we'd probably do. Something something they possess weapons of mass destruction.
Maybe even Nazi Germ--oh wait.
Also I'd just like to announce that henceforth we'll pretend Prussia was always named Germany. I was thinkin' recently about how that never really made sense. It was Feo who named it that though so blame him. But yeah, Germany is better.
How about the Holy Roman Empire? Or maybe Germania. /s
An argument is happening? And I wasn't the one who started it? Huh. That's a first. Seriously though guys, let's everybody just calm the fuck down.
Well, anyone in the Diplomacy game, it's up and running now. We have a little under 48 hours to submit orders, and communicate with each other, so make sure to get your day one moves finished.
I just tried looking for the game on the site, but I can't find it. I still needs to join :/
The WiR at Paradox is the real deal. They don't take fighting in the OOC to heart. The year is 1894, where I am playing as Colombia. So the Thousand Days' War is going to happen in two years and America will be asking for rights to build the Panama Canal. Thank God for Google. Here are samples of what they post (if you want to know): WiR: 1861 WiR: 1900
Good luck with that mess. It sounds more statistical to me than it is fun. Personally, I prefer Precipice for a bunch of reasons. Considering it's only been a decade IC, there's been so much told and done. The lore, the narrative, all of it is just amazing. Not only that, but the third-person narrative makes telling the story so much better at times. It's not just because of what is quite honestly some of the best writing I've ever seen (I'm lookin' at you, Vilage & Aaron), but because that type of narrative gives way to the different styles of the authors that participate in the RP. A blank, history book-esque narrative rarely has that kind of variety and distinction. Furthermore, I feel that, though there is the occasional argument (which I am admittedly a big culprit concerning those), we are a much kinder community. In the end, we are always very welcome amongst one another, and though our countries may go to war, we are always laughing and having a good time with each other. Plus, even though I more often than not find myself drifting off for large periods of time, there's always something about this RP that brings me back. Perhaps it is being a part of a huge world like this, telling the story of nations constantly on the Precipice.... Frankly, I can't think of too many people who have had bad experiences with this story. Except Freddy, who cries himself to sleep.
That said I don't think China's very interested at the moment. I'm sure they might flip something if they're approached but they're not going to proactively seek out anyone. Revan's the other member of the Comintern so he might be the next best thing to approach in Mexico. But you're in Mihndar's backyard so I would ultimately have to have you check with him or for him to say something in the thread.
Yeah, and for the record, Mexico is unlikely to fund/supply any coups in the Americas, due more to the fact that the US and Brazil wouldn't take too kindly to Mexican involvement in a militant uprising, rather than a lack of capability. Concerning the case of a peaceful reformist uprising, however, US/Brazil policies of that nature haven't really been touched on, as Mexico is undergoing one at the moment and there don't appear to be any reactions to that fact so far. Still, if you do choose to play as Colombia, I'd be careful with straying away from the growing influence of a nearby regional power (i.e. Brazil). I did that with the Russian Republic, once. It, uh...it didn't turn out so well. Point is, you're likely not going to get much support from either China or Mexico, the former because they aren't really interested and the latter because there is the threat of the regional powers.
<Snipped quote by Dinh AaronMk> "My army is l33t. I got, like, thirty different North Dakota's."
"What about Florida?" "Hold on, you didn't hear about what happened to him? It was awful." "Oh yeah, that's right. Poor Florida." On a side note, I think we might have broken the Hunger Games simulator. It keeps coming up glitched out on my end, for some reason.
I missed like, four days. What habbened?
Aaron finally got sick of my shit and bashed my head in.
Should I have Freddy fire ze missiles?
But he is le tired
Oh god Red vs Blue.
Uh, you mean Blue vs Red. It sounds stupid when you say it backwards.
