Kamui Uzumaki
Konohagakure | Chūnin | Sleepy nin
TIME: A week after the funeral | LOCATION: Sunagakure - Outskirts | INTERACTION: Sakana Uragiri (@Odin) Shizuka Ichimi (@Syn) Date Watari(@Queentze)
Kamui couldn't help but sigh loudly when faced by the discussion that started as soon as Shizuka managed to catch up with the rest of the group, not only deeply annoyed by the behaviour of the jounin duo - whoose the exchange of unpleasantries escalated so quickly that even the ever so uncaring Kamui felt like criticizing it - but also considerably bothered by the fact that he was forced to deal with this stupid situation that early in the day - at least for him - and right after waking up. After all, even though he did consider himself quite the patient person, dealing with all this unneeded drama while drowsy was hardly a nice compliment to the already bothersome situation. In the end, though, the Uzumaki didn't have to let go of his composure for the situation to get solved since the discussion quickly died after Shizuka voice a small outburst in defense of his innocence, that earned quite the skeptical stare from Kamui, who personally "saw" him kissing Kiku during the mission - not exactly what you'd expect from a responsible jounin, in his hardly humble opinion.
Ultimately, the redhead didn't even get to make a single comment before the introductions were finished and the group started their rather uneventful trip towards the land of wind, leaving the introductions of his abilities and role to Sakana, who was already more than familiar with most of his techniques and modus operandi. In the end, the silent behaviour ended up being the Uzumaki's tandard behavioue during most of the trip, as the awkwardness resultant from intern conflict made it so Kamui could naturally avoid having to make minor comments or engage in iddle conversation - hardly an opportunity that he'd miss, as the Uzumaki felt that talking was a bother to start with and didn't, in any moment, feel interest for his teammates personas and abilities, being already more than satisfied with just letting Sakana bother over things like synergy and tatics and following his orders after the fight starts.
Just like this, the Uzumaki somehow managed to endure the unpleasantness of traversing through the desolate dunes that composed most of the wind country, motivated by naught but the urge to finish the bothersome mission, barely having to do anything but constantly monitor the party's surroundings with his sensor technique after they reached the area nearby to the village - something that, while fairly exhaustive for normal sensors, was almost as natural as breathing for the boy, who was undountedly inhumanly talented on his own right even though his talents were hardly as showy as the rest of the group's - while veing directly protected by the rest of the group, since Sakana made it so that he positioned himself in the center of the formation - his personal favorite spot as well as the most adequate position for a support oriented shinobi.
Sadly for him, this easy life didn't take long to crumble, for the first bump in their road appeared in the form of a humongous sandstorm that manifested around the village, clearly signalizing that something was definitely happening and the trip would most certainly be a troublesome one.
"Seems like the sand is some sort of barr-..." The Uzumaki started just to be suddenly surprised by the appearance of a new being that somehow managed to avoid being sensed by him until the last minute, directly appearing besides the group and forcing them to quickly assume defensive stances.
Fortunately, the Lion - for that was the identity of the being, a giant lion that Kamui assumed to be a summon of some influential figure from sunagakure, possibly even the Kazekage's - wasn't interested in fighting them, and actually gave them a way to traverse the sandstorm instead - though he did so in an awfully arrogant way for someone who was receiving help, almost earning some of Kamui's loathing in the process (though ultimately he was forced to ignore the urge to reproach the Lion, since discussing with a giant cat was too much of an awkward thing to do) - letting them come near enough to the village for Kamui to have a complete view of the situation.
"How seriously fucked up..." The Uzumaki couldn't help but mutter as soon as he managed to get a complete view of the village's situation, taking half a second to reorganize his thoughts before he reacted to Sakana's order.
"Reporting: The village seems to be under siege by two individuals, one moving around in direct conflict against the Kazekage and the other directly attacking the village through the use of clones. Most of the buildings seems to be covered by some kind of coating and the Kazekage seens to be using some kind of technique to cause the storm we can see from here." The sensor quickly reported before proceeding to give a detailed report on the individual that was currently terrorizing the village, giving priority to him since there wasn't any group engaging him as of now. For that, he quickly opened a simplistic map stored amongst his scrolls - a tool specifically picked due to his lack of familiarity with the village's layout.
"The clone user's main body seens to be located over the village center, with four clones assuming positions in this specific locations, and seems to be releasing some kind of chakra infused substance into the village. Additionally, the clones are obviously not Shadow Clones, and thus most certainly lack the ability to use most techniques." He continued, using his
finger to draw circles around the specific locations occupied by the clones of the individual - easily identified by having the same chakra signature yet lacking the chakra intensity of the main body due to the inequality in distribution common to less developed clone techniques. In the end, the boy would just turn towards Sakana while showing an inquisitive look, waiting for any more questions for him to answer.
