This is where I'll collect the characters I bring to live through roleplay. Both main characters or secondary ones. Some will be recycled and used in multiple roleplays :-) Secondary characters might just pop by in characters thoughts, or flashbacks. Might be family members and friends of my characters. I still like to note them down for later references, even though they might not have their own Character sheets in the roleplay thread. List of Main characters: Acadia - Alive. (Age of Immortals)
Acadia walked home from work, at the exact same time as every other day. The exact same route. Holding a white bag containing todays dinner; Chow mein with a side of shimp dumplings. The same dishes he's been eating every day the past 6 years. She was close to her front door when she had this feeling someone was watching her. She never felt like she stood out, not since she washed ashore in Brazil.
She finally reached the steps of her apartment where she leaned to the side to look into the narrow window next to her door, making sure no one was inside her pretty much minimalistic grey apartment. There wasn't much room to hide unless you knew the apartment. She unlocked the door and opened it slowly, not making a sound. She jumped as a letter fell down over her feet, reflecting in her shiny black pumps. A letter with her "Acadia" written on. This gave her chills through her spine. Why would anyone address her Acadia, a name she hadn't used in at least a century. Why would she get a letter at all? Living a very A4 life she knew exactly what letters to expect at exact dates and today was not one of those days. Neither did she talk to anyone except her co-workers(at work, only) and Miss Meixiu from the Chinese place. She picked the letter up with quivering hands, took a second look around the block before going inside. The main room was dim, grey with some black and white accents. Very modern, straight lines, minimal decoration. She wasn't gonna read the letter, not yet.
Shortly after she had a big glass of high quality red wine. Over the past centuries she had acquired a taste for expensive wine. She brought the letter with her to the artistic/minimalistic (quite uncomfortable) couch where she opened the letter with 18th century knife. The shock of the letters struck her like a lightning, and both the glass of red and the letter shortly fell to the floor. The letter soaked in wine within seconds. Who is this Oscar, how does he know? Is there more people like me? Why is this happening? These were few of many thoughts haunting Acadias space. She'd been so good at hiding her tracks, disappearing. Being anonymous. That was her skill. She hadn't let anyone close since late 1600's and they were.. Well.. Dead. So really, she had thousands of questions.
This went waaaay way way out of her comfort zone. She was even uncomfortable taking a new route to work, or when Miss Meichiu was out of Chow Mein. But if she didn't go to Seattle she wouldn't get peace. Not only would she be reported but she'd have all these questions left unanswered. She packed her briefcase. All her clothes were different variants of office clothing. Semi-sexy but yet modest. Mostly grey, black and white.
Name: Acadia. (First given name she remembers is Qar, which she has held on to since 2000B.C)
Age: Appears to be in her late twenties.
Appearance:
135 pounds, 5'6" tall
Bio: Acadias' first memories are quite recent, from about year 500. Prior to this She'd been trying for thousands of years to end her life, ending in tieing herself to the bottom of the ocean where she stayed for 800 years until she rose to the top, barely anything left of her body. Within the next day her body was fully intact again and she found herself washed up on shore in Brazil. Her exact first memory is the memory of walking throught he Brazilian jungle for days until she met a member of a local tribe whom she was introduced to. Looking nothing like the people around she was held captive and tortured for witchcraft in an attempt of taking her life. She ended up finally being able to escape. For decades she reminded unheard of and unrecognized.
Today Acadia is a secretary for a small law firm in New York Focusing on small cases such as divorce and child custody. She's pretty much anonymous, in an anonymous work. She doesn't have family nor does she have any friends but a fat lazy cat named Charlie. She's in fact on her eight Charlie. She lives in a small apartment a couple of blocks away from her workplace, and she follows the same strict pattern every single day. Waking up at 6:30 AM, grabbing a scone and a coffee from the bakery downstairs and then go to work. After work she drops by a Chinese take-away place and orders the same dish every day. This pattern has only changed every 10 years when she finds a new job, in a new town, under a new name.
Personality: Acadia is a numb, boring person. After her uncountable suicidal attempts and time spend trying to not exist she's ended up a human-like robot. She's completely indifferent to everything. She avoids contact with other people, but isn't really shy. She hasn't really held any emotions, not that she'd know how to handle them if they occurred.
Possessions: - She's quite rich, from working for several lifetimes without spending much money at all. - Her fat cat, Charlie the 8th - A journal.
Skills: - She's great at disappearing, changing her identity and hiding her tracks. - Has an insane stamina and pain tolerance.
Fast facts: - Didn't know about other immortals. - Has never been with anyone romantically. - Consumes the same meals every day for 10 years before changing her ways. - Is a chain smoker. (Can't kill her! )
