My second dnd character also made two orcs explode, after which she cooked part of one to near perfection. One party member refused to eat. 'That's fine. I'm not mad. Whatever. '

Bio

Sup!

Gonna use this for a quick overview of my rp interests. People can pm me at any time, really.
- 1x1's only, unless it's a group rp with a really small amount of people and not too fast-paced.
- Fantasy, both modern and otherwise
- Action, love it
- Adventure, yaaaaas
- Horror, though not all kinds of it. I do love the supernatural stuff, though
- I'm not very good at sci-fi, but willing to try if you're okay with me not being great at it.

Definitely am. Sorry for not replying earlier.

I think I'm going for a female character for a change. And a job at St. Mungo's. Living on her own currently, still in a bit of a 'student' house, as she is careful not to spend too much.
I'm gonna work on her appearance this weekend (been doing loads of portrait studies, so this should be easy) probably.

And that's a good idea. I'm extremely chaotic in my head, so I tend to forget certain details sometimes, so having it all together in an intropost would be very lovely.
Shit, I'm so sorry I didn't get around to replying. School happened, basically. I'll post as quickly as I can.
How was your comic con?

I feel ya. If someone replies extremely fast, that does kinda increase the pressure. I admit having been guilty of it a few times, but sometimes the RP mood strikes for days, you know :')

Yeah, Hufflepuff it way too underappreciated. I always liked them a lot, as they valued modesty and loyalty so much.

Hmm.. Maybe they can come from the Lake District? Somewhere around there, basically. I don't really have much logic behind it, just that it's one of the most beautiful parts of England I've ever been to :') They could be from the same village, having met that way a few years before Hogwarts.

And looks good. For the pureblood I think it would be fun to kind of have the opposite of some of those things. I'm thinking someone who comes from a large family, played Quidditch and is generally quite athletic. Favorite subjects could include potions, DADA (since art class that abbreviation has never been the same), herbiology and astronomy.
Still not sure what house I'd like him/her to be in most, to be honest. As for a job.. teaching, maybe. Or something at that magical hospital of which I momentarily forgot the name.
@Piddle - English may not be our first language, but that won't stop us from making the RP epic, right?

Absolutely! I haven't had this much fun plotting in a very long time.

Yeah, exactly that. Though usually, as long as people do their best I'm quite lenient with it. It's those times where I kinda feel like the rp is not being taken seriously at all that I get impatient.

Oh, I don't mind at all. I'd probably do the same.

Good to hear ^^
It seems there is yet another thing that we very much agree on! I prefer to really take my time for an rp, especially once you get into scenes where you really have to think about the next step, or what a logical yet interesting twist would be.
I also love staying in touch OOC. Not only to discuss things, but just the fact that RP can be a way to meet new people is something I love about it. (My current best friend is someone I met over rp. As she's from the same country as I am, we've already met up numerous times).
So don't worry about chatting OOC, I greatly approve of it.

Totally agree with that. I think it would work best if we really work out what things they do and do not know about eachother. I think it's also fun if they both have done and seen a lot in the time they were apart (not necessarily in a bad way) so they have a lot to chat up on about, for during those times where action isn't present. (I can't help it, I also love those brief moments where characters are just having conversation).

As for the diary entries; all fine with me ^^

I always get Gryffindor in tests. I kind of always assumed I'd be more of a Hufflepuff, but my current study has really brought up a more confident side of me, that kind of makes me see how I'd fit in Gryffindor as well. Gryffindor and Slytherin are indeed more alike than most seem to think.
I'm not sure what house I want my character to be in. I'm also not entirely sure about the type of person they'll be in general.
It is true that Hufflepuff gets way too little credit. And when they do, they're often a bit caricaturized.
The Thread. It's really late over here, so my characters will be a bit later, but we still need to discuss stuff about them, so I doubt it's much of a problem : D
Finally productive again.
More
- Horses. Being a very horsey person, I really, really long for some rp in which they have a prominent role, without the plot being all childish, like they used to be on other sites I've been on.
Animals in general really. I have a strong weak spot for plots that have a big spotlight for animals. Not in the furry/neko kind of way, but more in the realistic, slice of life kind of way. Normally I'm not a big slice of life fan, but there are exceptions.
- Cliche plots turned into something cool.
If you're one of those people that can take an overused thing and turn it around into one of those rp's that make me sacrifice a proper amount of sleep, I will love you.
- Tall ships.
- Platonic relationships. I'm a sucker for plots in which the characters don't necessarily end up dating, but just develop this really strong bond over time. But I find it a little tough to find people who feel the same. Not that there are none, it just does not seem all that common.

Less
- Characters that don't fit the rp they're in, I think.
There aren't many things that make me think 'I don't want to see this anymore, at all'

I was so tempted to make a horrible Geert Wilders joke here, but I stopped myself.

Also; I have nothing against people who like nekos and stuff, just adding that since I'm quite new here and have no idea how sensitive people are. (I've seen people on other sites blow up over less)
Mostly the familiarity to most people, as I think was already mentioned here. I always get the impression they indeed appeal to people a lot more than lesser known cities, so whenever I have an RP take place there, it's mostly to get enough people to at least get it going.

..
Well, that made me sound a lot more pathetic than I intended it to.
