My second dnd character also made two orcs explode, after which she cooked part of one to near perfection. One party member refused to eat. 'That's fine. I'm not mad. Whatever. '

Gonna use this for a quick overview of my rp interests. People can pm me at any time, really. - 1x1's only, unless it's a group rp with a really small amount of people and not too fast-paced. - Fantasy, both modern and otherwise - Action, love it - Adventure, yaaaaas - Horror, though not all kinds of it. I do love the supernatural stuff, though - I'm not very good at sci-fi, but willing to try if you're okay with me not being great at it.
Which RPs are you interested in? I have a few ideas for a guard-royalty dynamic.
MxM/MxF/FxF? Don't really care :') I'm perfectly cool with characters just being in a platonic relationship, but if it does get romantic, orientation doesn't really matter.
Smut rating? Low. If the characters do become a couple at some point I prefer fade to black.
How many paragraphs per post are expected from me? Whatever fits at the time; during a conversation shorter posts might work better for the flow of the dialogue, while the characters arriving at a new location would probably require more description and such. My posts are, on average, around 200 words, but it really varies a lot and I prefer quality over quantity; no filler. At all.
Artist in training who specializes in people and landscapes (though portraits make up the bulk of my work) and I basically spend far too much time drawing my characters. I can draw yours as well. For more information on that, please follow this link to my Deviantart: virtuxa.deviantart.com/journal/Commis… I'm afraid I don't do requests for free.
Anyway, now that we're done with the sales pitch, let's get to the actual artwork:
Characters that constantly need to be the victim irk me. I'm not really talking about people effectively writing the type of person who tries to make everything about them, because I think it can be done hilariously, I'm talking the writer constantly trying to make sure their character needs to be consoled and supported, that if they fuck up, they are so sad about it, you can't be mad at them, and so on. Just got out of an RP that took this to bafflingly extreme heights and it got old real fucking quick.
They managed to get it done. The Venetian island of Poveglia, infamous for being a dumpingground for plague victims and later for the mental asylum where horrible things allegedly happened, is now the location for a fantastic state of the art resort and it’s gruesome history is used as a selling point for tourists. During the building of the thing, at least five builders have gone missing, but even towards their co-workers and family this a been covered up through clever lies. Now it’s done and to celebrate there has been a competition that will decide who the very first visitors are going to be. A small number of winners will have the resort all to themselves for three weeks. However, once they are there it turns out that things aren’t as great as expected and when the boat doesn’t show back up on time, they have a problem.
Character A is a dealer. He/she works for one of the top dogs, a man who is both cruel and intelligent, and who practically owns A. The reason is that A is indebted by this man, and the time A got to pay back is coming to an end. Best case scenario? If A doesn't pay up, he/she is forced to practically work for this person until they are either killed or arrested. Worst case scenario? His/her 'boss' just kills him/her right away to set an example to others who haven’t paid up. A nasty situation. Then there's character B. B has lost his/her sibling/parent/friend to drug abuse and feels powerless and angry. B learns that A was their loved one's dealer and wants revenge. But then A tells B that if they work together, A can lead B to the man at the top of this rotten chain. So, A is using B to get out that debt, while B has plans of taking down A once this druglord is taken care of either way. This idea can be played straight, with the both of them playing each other out, but it's also possible that some kind of mutual respect grows, messing with things.
Character A and character B have become friends recently, perhaps through being colleagues, and they click pretty well. A then stumbles upon information he/she never should have, belonging to people who very much want it back. This thing can be anything from a simple usb or harddrive to a book. Normally A'd go straight to the cops with this, but one thing is stopping him/her; the evidence also incriminates B. Badly. Not bad enough for A to be unable to overlook the things B did, but bad enough for the cops to certainly not overlook that. Now the people who are dependent on this come after them, and they need to find a way out.
Two people go to a farm in the middle of bumfuck nowhere for holiday work. They could be friends or they could just meet one another there; both can work. They work together and get along well enough to hang out outside of working hours as well. Being fond of nature they explore the woods around the farm. They stumble upon some pretty dark shit but can't leave (no reception, truck that picked them up from the nearest stop just broke down, that sort of thing.) Can be a bit horror oriented, but can stay realistic as well; am cool with both.
- A camp that's either haunted or has a pretty sick mind wandering around. - Chars on a roadtrip encounter some dark shit and suddenly their vacation goes South. - A vampire hunter's best friend becomes a vampire - A vampire hunter gains respect for the vampire they're hunting, and vice versa - Roommates in a haunted house - Wizard detectives in a big city
Fandoms - no canons
- Plot in which the war is still going and a group of people tries to smuggle muggleborns out of the country. They're using the help of some muggles that know how to do fake passports and the actual smuggling, to keep a low profile, but these muggle guys have no idea what they are involved in. - I'd also love to dive into what it would mean if a wizarding war happened in the current year, what with all the technology that pureblood wizards likely wouldn't know much about. - Wizard detectives in a big city
- Hunter teams up with a former gangmember, after the leader of said gang turned out to be a monster of some sort.
- Character infiltrate the Thalmor or are on the run from them - Thieves made the mistake of competing with the Thieves Guild
Characters I want to play but need a plot for:
Coming soon.
Some of my preferences:
- Effort in a post. I don't need a whole book each time; if there's not much to say at some point in the plot, for whatever reason, I'm cool with that. But give me something to work with; dialogue, obvious body language, a neat plottwist; I try to do the same. - Not a big romance fan. If the characters click, cool, but I do not plan any of that ahead, and if it's platonic at best I'm entirely fine with it as well. If romance does happen I don't give a frickle frackle wether it's gay or straight. - Not comfortable with writing smut. Should the characters decide they want sexy times, it's a fade to black. - Violence is fine tho. - I can play both male and female characters. - I like a partner who is pro-active; if you don't like something, you can be direct about it. In return I do my best to be both polite and straight to the point as well if something doesn't work for me.
Rayne had placed a stencil on the counter and Niodin picked it up, critically examining it. It was something of a symbol, a bit angular and just big enough for the amount of detail, but small enough to fit snugly between his shoulder blades without being too dramatic. He then gave the stencil back and nodded. "Looks good, let's do it," he said. He walked over to one of the three reclining tattoo chairs in the shop, on of which the back was all the way down, since it likely worked best if he laid down for this down. He was quite glad the other two were empty. The last time he got a tattoo done, the one on his lower back, the girl that got hers done next to him had taken annoying to a whole new level, by flirting with the artist in a way that made him feel more second hand embarrassment than any human being should ever feel in their lives.
He sat down on the chair and took off his shirt, familiar with the procedure. While Niodin did not have the build to become a human brick wall, he was still toned from years of relentless training. You could blame the government for quite a few things, but letting their guards, cops and soldiers grow lazy was not one of them. He laid down on his stomach, folding his arms underneath his head.
Name: Adrian Brunfaire Race: Breton Age: 23 Primary skills: - Restoration - Alchemy - Conjuration Fighting style: Adrian prefers not to fight. So when he can he prefers to use a summoned distraction, or something similar. If for whatever reason he has to fight, he will likely use fire, ice or shock. His desctruction magic isn't the best, however, due to obvious reasons, so he is more suitable as back up, healing someone or conjuring up support. Weapons: He carries a long dagger in case of emergency, but uses it mostly as a tool. He's known to have made use of a stout stick a few times, however, when out of magicka, but with varying results. Personality: Adrian is a kindhearted and compassionate man. He has been damaged a tiny bit by most people's attitude towards magic, and his enthusiasm about it now only comes out when he's comfortable around someone. When he is, he can talk a lot about it. He is naturally very curious and fond of exploring. He prefers to leave places as untouched as possible, but sees no harm in taking an artefact every now and then for science. Extra: Adrian often wears robes. Given his fighting style armor would only slow him down. Beneath the robes, however, he does wear a thin layer of leather, for some basic protection, whithout sacrificing too much freedom of movement. Appearance:
Name: Bedelia Hazeltine Age: 58, but appearance-wise she still looks 31 Strengths: - Determined - Not afraid of things getting messy and bloody - Willing to go very far for her cause Weaknesses: - Very rusty moral compass - Not the best at physical fighting; once her powers have been exhausted, she's done for - Impatient - Let's her emotions overrule her rational decisionmaking frequently 'Jobs' in hell: Having been in hell for 'only' 27 years, Bedelia isn't exactly extremely high on the ladder. She was often involved with human summonings and the things that came with that. Appearance (human) :
