Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Better! Yes, thank you Jasper! :D

And yep, I’m legally blind Shadow. I have a little bit of vision, but everything is very blurry. I can’t read, so I do all of my writing and reading through voice dictation and the voiceover program on my phone. ;) But hey, you can now officially say you’ve met someone who is blind!
@Jasper19 Some of the punctuation could be fixed, there are a couple spots that sound awkward when my reading program reads your post. I’m blind, so things like this stand out to me. Also, you’re welcome to choose a warrior name for him, or rather, medicine cat name. Unless you’d rather the leader choose for you. :)
I’m really enjoying the cats so far! They have all been so creative! I started working on my own characters and got what I do have written about them posted in the character section. Based on what I have seen, everyone is welcome to post their characters over there as well. Though I would like to see Barkpaw’s sheet cleaned up a little.

Also, we seem to have one each in favor of SunClan and CragClan. So, if you have a preference on clan, please speak up! :)
Name: Robinstar
Gender: Female
Rank: Leader
Appearance: Rather tall for a cat, she is built lean and lithe, with a narrow face and a long tail. She is primarily a pale silvery white in color with thin light grey stripes across her back, neck, tail, lower forelegs, and three stripes each on either cheek and forehead. The backs of her sharply pointed ears and the end of her tail are a solid, Slightly darker grey. Her eyes are a piercing clear blue.
Brief Background: When she was an apprentice, Robinstar had never had high ambitions for herself or her future, simply desiring to be a strong warrior and an asset to her clan. She had passing thoughts of one day perhaps becoming a mentor or mother, but could never picture herself in a leader ship position. So it certainly surprised her win, after her father Ashpelt retired to the life of an elder after being the deputy for many years, the then leader of CragClan, Molestar, approached her with the request that she become the next deputy. She didn’t think she was good enough for the position, actually bringing this up to her leader. She remembers vividly the look of amusement that had crossed his face and the words he spoke to her. “Your worthiness lies in the strength of your heart Robinwind. You simply can’t see that because it is hidden within your chest. But I have seen your heart in your eyes.” After spending a sleepless night pondering over his statement, Robinstar accepted the position gratefully, resolved to continue to serve her clan through the strength of her love and commitment for them.

She hadn’t expected that the experience of being deputy would be so brief lived. Not a moon and a half had gone by before trouble rose within the territory, a badger attempting to make it self at home near the river. Molestar himself headed the patrol that would attempt to drive the intruder out, fighting fiercely when the badger went after one of the younger warriors. Intercepting the attack that had been meant for the other cat, Molestar managed to scratch out one of the badger‘s eyes, Even as his own body was being crushed in its jaws. As the badger retreated, the patrol was shocked to realize that their leader had given up his last life to protect one of his warriors.

As leader of CragClan today, Robinstar keeps the memory of Molestar Close to her heart, using his example of selfless love to guide and direct the cats she has promised to protect.
Family: Ashpelt - father, Sandnose - mother - deceased, Silverleaf - brother

Name: Eagleleap
Gender: Female
Rank: Warrior
Appearance: She is rather long and wiry, with a narrow angular face, slanted eyes, and tall pointed ears. Her fur is primarily black in color and is rather short, but is very soft to the touch. Across her back, partially up her neck, and halfway down her tail the dark coloring is interrupted by a marbled silver pattern that is brightest in the center and fades out along the edges. Her nose and pads are both pale pink. Her eyes are a much more noticeable feature, contrasting against her dark pelt as a rather vivid hunter green in color.
Brief Background: Eagleleap was born and raised in GrassClan in a litter of three. Even from a young age, she knew she wanted to be a warrior, wanted to do everything she could to help her clan.

As an apprentice, she met and gradually fell in love with Pinepaw, Who would later be given the name Pinefrost and become her mate. The big grey tabby quickly became her safe place in the world, her strength and support. It didn't take them long to decide to have their own kits.

A week after her and Pinefrost's kits were born, an unexpected bout of greencough struck the clan. And even though they took precautions, Eagleleap was alarmed when her mate developed worrisome symptoms, the stubborn Tom putting it up to exhaustion and brushed it aside until even he couldn't deny that he was ill. Not wanting to further risk getting his little family sick, he took himself to the medicine cat's den.

Unfortunately, it hadn't been soon enough.
With sorrow heavy in her heart, the she cat watched as her newborn kits started to refuse milk, coughing wracking their tiny bodies. And although the medicine cats did all they could, her kits were too little...

And if that wasn't enough that any one Kat could take, painful news came to her later that evening that Pinefrost had also lost the battle with his own illness. Family gone, Eagleleap sank into a numbing sorrow that withdrew her from everyone for a time, refusing to speak, to eat.

When she finally started to come back to herself, going about daily routines, Eagleleap started to notice that the other cats were looking at her differently. She couldn't ignore the looks of sympathy, of pity, combined with hushed voices and whispers, and it slowly started to eat away at her. She didn't know how she would be expected to let her sorrow heal with the constant reminder that she had to live with each day. As a full moon gathering approached, she was desperate for an escape and did the only thing that she could think of to save herself. She approached one of the other clan leaders and pleaded to be allowed to join their clan.

Shock and out rage were the initial reactions from the leaders, nothing of the sort had ever been done among the clans, except for Robinstar, whom Eagleleap had made the request of. The clan leader was surprised, but not angry. After coaxing The entirety of the story out of the she cat, the CragClan leader held counsel with the other leaders. After the passing of a quarter moon, they reached the unusual decision to grant Eagleleap’s request and she left her past behind her without a backward glance, embracing the change of entering into CragClan, hoping her new family will learn to except her one day.

Name: Birchwhisker
Gender: Tom
Rank: Warrior
Appearance: He is a very large cat, with a thick build, broad head, and ample amounts of fur to cover it all. His base color is a deep chocolate brown that is then mottled and blended with black on the top of his head, his cheeks, neck, back, flanks, and tail. Along the backs of each of his legs, the fur is solidly black, looking almost as if each of his legs have been pulled through very dark mud. With black whiskers, nose, and pads, the only light colored part of his appearance are his eyes, which are a bright amber.
Brief Background: He’s enjoyed a relatively average life overall, living faithful to his clan, protecting their territory, and trying not to let himself come off as overly grumpy. He occasionally succeeds on the latter. The one truly extraordinary event that he feels is noteworthy in his life is the fact that the former clan leader, Molestar, saved him from going to StarClan. He had barely been a Warrior for a season when a badger attempted to move into CragClan Territory, but was still asked to be part of the group that would attempt to drive the intruder off. As the cats fought and evaded, he was shocked when the badger quite abruptly whirled on him, knocking him prone with a blunt paw and diving in for the attack. He was even more surprised when Molestar was suddenly there, the brown tabby taking the blow instead, even managing to severely injure the badger before he died. Ever since that day, Birchwhisker tries to live his life to the fullest, viewing it as a gift from his former leader, and does his best to protect his clan mates, even if that means that one day he might need to give up his life in order to save one of them.

He excelled In his lessons and easily made friends with the other apprentices and warriors. Putting his past life behind him, he proudly became a warrior and diligently protected his clan with a fierce fighting style and an easy laugh to cheer others up. He was surprised, But rather pleased, when the former leader asked him to become the deputy. He served many seasons in that position, happy to be so fully excepted into the warrior life. @Jasper19 Absolutely!

@AmpharosBoy Forests do make really nice settings, I agree! And the idea of training at the lake put some cute images in my head. Ha ha!

You’re more than welcome to be the deputy! Even with a vague description, I like the sound of him.

I’d like the majority of the characters to be part of the clan, yes. But I’m also not opposed to the idea of a loner or two popping up. Probably not as the official “enemies” that will be discussed at one point, but curious outsiders looking to join the clan or living outside of territory could be interesting. As Long as it doesn’t cause problems.

Good to know! Ampharos or Amp will probably be my go to choices. :)

CragClan

The cats of CragClan are a sturdy Group of felines, use to being exposed to the elements and Learning to be stealthy even in an open terrain. Tighten it is a loose description of the clan interaction, each cat doing their part to keep the peace among the group as a whole. From a young age, kits are taught the importance of respect and manners, spanning on into apprenticeship and even after they become warriors. The skills and morals of these cats is nurtured into a solid strength that each member of the clan possesses. From the past warriors watching on from the stars to the oldest elder in their den, CragClan is a unique family of cats that would never dream of turning their backs on one another.

Camp and Territory

The entrance into camp itself is rather well hidden, concealed behind a clump of flowering bushes. The entrance is created by a crack in a deceptive wall of rock that appears to be part of the mountain, but is actually an odd arcing formation that leaves a hollow space behind the wall that is open to the sky and is backed up against the actual base of the The beginning of the mountain range. Within the wall of the mountain is the elders den, The apprentices den, the medicine cat‘s cave, and the nursery, each formed from caves of various sizes. On the west side of camp, the Warriors den is made up of bushes and brambles that have been collected over the seasons. This allows for the sun to spot through slightly, but keeps the worst of the weather out. On the other side of camp is a rare solitary tree that the leader calls home, denning in a hollow spot beneath the roots and making announcements from high branch halfway up the trunk.

The majority of the territory is covered in a pale yellowish dirt, with clusters of boulders and rocks, arching rock formations, and clumps of bushes Breaking up the monotony, with the occasional patch of short scrubby grass. Few trees can be found, but are most common among the soil at the edge of the river that separates CragClan from The neighboring territory of SunClan. One such tree fell Long ago, creating a natural Bridge between the two sides of the river near the area where the water empties out into the lake. Near these sources of water, grass and herbs can commonly be found. Also located on the lakefront, the training ground can be found, where apprentices and warriors alike can come to hone their battle skills.
